The lemon poppy seed salad is my favorite part of my week. Great to grab on the lunch hour and it’s a filling meal due to all of the protein with the nuts and cheese. I also tried the veggie sofrito chili. Though I’ve come here weekly for years, I didn’t realize how much vegetarian options there are including jackfruit sandwich. Also, you may regret regarding this but their baked goods are PHENOMENAL. Staff always seem happy together and are friendly to customers. Thank you S&S!

This is a must try. Breakfast sausage sandwich with bacon tomato jam is a wow moment. Cinnamon buns are special, burgers are very good. I just cut into their apple pie available now through the holidays. Amazing. The staff is great. Support your local businesses. This is a true gem.

While in Illinois I was looking for a breakfast place and The Sweet & Savory Spot appeared on my yelp app. I was a bit skeptical looking at the images on yelp, but I was willing to give it a shot.

I ordered the Salmon LVR and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. I kid you not, probably one of the best Salmon breakfast sandwiches I've had ever.

First off I didn't know what to expect when I ordered the Salmon LVR since when I received it, it just looked like an egg breakfast sandwich. However, when I took a bite I saw that the Salmon was in the eggs, and the herb cream cheese worked perfectly with the saltiness of the smoked salmon and the fluffiness of the scrambled egg. With the brioche being slightly sweet, the whole sandwich was perfectly balanced. After I finished it, I ordered another the same day!

The chocolate chip cookie was also massive, and was the right level of crunchy exterior and soft interior.

This was probably one of my most favorite places to eat in Illinois when I traveled to Chicago. Note, this place is not in Chicago, so you would have to travel a bit out of Chicago to try this spot.

Just tried this place for the first time and got the breakfast sausage sandwich, loaded fried breakfast potatoes with breakfast sausage gravy and a bakers dozen for my husband and daughter. It was absolutely amazing! Definitely 5 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 ⭐ ⭐

This is our favorite place in Westmont!! We love their breakfast (sandwiches, all the bakery items, and breakfast potatoes). I’ve been meaning to write a review for a long time but always eat the food before taking a photo. We’ve also eaten a lot of their lunch and dinner items and always have loved them (burgers, soups, and sandwiches)!

My daughter this morning started scolding my wife because she thought she was finishing her breakfast potatoes with cheese which is her favorite breakfast item anywhere! My wife was enjoying their carnie toss!

We are regulars since moving to willowbrook! Everything on the menu is tasty, the owners and crew are awesome, and I love the nostalgia and coziness on the inside. They have something for everyone - even for my more picky family members. I highly recommend trying (and do to everyone who asks for a good spot to eat in the area).

This is such a delightful little place - people are super welcoming and the food is ALL homemade (from the ketchup to the sandwiches). Their breakfast sandwiches are sooo good and flavorful, with a variety of options. Will definitely be visiting again!!

Absolutely incredible! I got the speedy burger, which is by far the best burger that I have ever tasted in my whole life. I liked it so much I didn't even put it down. I just kept eating and eating. It has a bottom layer of lettuce, onion, and bacon. Great start right? Then we have two patties with the most excellent cream cheese spread and jalapeños sandwiched in between. Then finally topped with guac. Also worth mentioning, the buns were soft, substantial, and made the burger taste so great.

I have never had a burger with cream cheese before, so it was definitely new to me, but I fell in love. The flavor combination hit my like an 18-wheeler, and so when I finished, I called them back up and thanked them. That's how good it was. I called and said "tell your cooks that burger changed my life"

I also got the fried breakfast potatoes with bbq chicken cheese on top and chili. That was incredible too. Big portion.

All around my favorite spot for a great meal. The burger is fantastic, it is big enough to fill you up but good enough to leave you wanting another.. The breakfast sandwiches are perfect to pick up and take to work too. The desert really lives up to the sweet in Sweet and Savory! Addictive to say the least. 10/10

We ordered a cheeseburger, pulled pork, and fries. Everything was delicious! I still think about that pulled pork and I ate there last week. Highly recommend!

Really nice little place. We had the Yinzer sandwich and Diner burger and both were great. Neither comes with sides, so if you want fries they're extra. The apple pie bar dessert was also awesome. The menu is small, but choosing wasn't easy because so much sounded good. We'll have to come back to try everything else (especially the other desserts).

Amazing food! Had the Diner burger and the Pulled Pork sandwich. Both 10/10.

The Diner Burger is my favorite burger in the suburbs 😯 significantly better than burgers I’ve had at Pierce, Cadence, That Burger Joint, … This is blasphemous but this burger saves me a trip into the city for Au Cheval (and is half the price).

Also, the breakfast sandwich with tomato bacon jam is the best and more novel breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. The carnie toss on the weekends is also AMAZING.

HUGE and delicious cinnamon roll; Wedge salad is yummy and massive; fries are fire; sweet potato salad wasn’t for me but had TONS of flavor.

I passed by this place numerous times and thought it was a bakery, but was pleasantly surprised that they serve lunch. My husband and I split a diner burger and a pulled pork sandwich. They were both so good! Exceptionally good! I am looking forward to return to try other items as the pictures posted look so appetizing!

Great food with exceptional service. Breakfast is excellent Including the potatoes and all menu items are freshly prepared and can be customized. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite Westmont restaurants! Everything here has been excellent every time I have dined here.

The fries are amazing. And definitely big enough to share between 2-3 people.

This restaurant has great food, super awesome staff, speedy service, and a homey vibe. There are options for everyone too because they serve meat and vegan dishes. I highly recommend!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The place is amazing. It's gourmet quality at a superbly affordable price. I had their veggie burger, and it's one of the best ones I've had. Everything was made with love and care.

Can’t wait to come back. I live in the city but was in the area and came across this hidden gem. Family owned small restaurant serving baked goods and the most amazing food. We had the wolf, biscuits & gravy, house burger, breakfast potatoes, donut, & cake pops. Everything was AMAZING! I can’t wait to go back to try more food items. Everyone was extremely sweet & welcoming. It’s a whole in the wall type of vibe but very cozy and perfect for a quick bite. They don’t make them like this anymore! Oh, they also sell baked goodies for the fur babies. 🐾
