Taco Madre

Little hole in the wall, but tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had. Usually go to Freddie’s in Oswego, but they were closed so we tried this and it did not disappoint.

The best were the Aztec, Mayan, and Chicken Tinga tacos! We will definitely be back.

The best steak taco I have ever had at a great price. The Madre, the Avocado and just a regular taco were all excellent. Honestly if you are just looking for a small meal to tide you over till dinner, one will do it. The salsa they serve with the complimentary chips is awesome. The people are very friendly. They even have several sauces at a self serve station. The location is a little different, but I kind of like it's a little hidden but not out of the way. It's almost like a great chef found a little happy place for themselves. My biggest regret was not trying them sooner! And their choice of music was pretty hip. Give them a try, you'll love the food!

Taco Madre makes delicious food, and delivery is good and timely. We've been ordering delivery from them for a couple of years, and it has worked out well. We always look forward to it. My favorites are the fish and seafood options; below I show a serving of the seafood soup, which is delicious. It's $18, but it serves two generously, as you can see; this bowl is only half the order. Also the shrimp tacos and fish tacos are truly excellent. Highly recommend. Favorite fast-service Mexican food. Local chain so multiple locations throughout the Chicago suburbs. Great for a quick lunch during the work day or catering your event. House made salsa is to die for.

Best steak tacos, I have ever had. Trust me i know what im saying. Im truck driver and i have tried every taco from East Coast to West. Big portions and very tender meat! A hole in the wall!

They have the best carnitas tacos here. I also love that you can get drinks like horchata or agua de jamaica for the same price as sodas and with free refills (please bring back jamaica, it’s so good 🤤, way better than that pricy canned Minute Maid trash). They clear your garbage for you, so no worries leaving after you get done. I’m working nearby this restaurant, and we usually go for lunch on Fridays. I always get several tacos Mexican style, then add lots of delicious Jalapeño sauce and tomatillo salsa from the self serving sauce area in the corner of the restaurant. Great food here.

Great place 👌 for mexican 🌮🌯 food. I love taco Tuesday. Your choice of American style with lettuce and tomato or Mexican style with cilantro and onions. Good selection of beverages. Give it a try. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is just really good to me. I actually don't prefer American style tacos I discovered. And I love the fried ice cream. A little on the pricey side, but most every food place is these days. Give them a try.

With so many Mexican restaurants in the area this is the best to me. Friendly staff, quick service, & good tasting food whether you prefer your tacos American or Mexican style!

WOW. This place is a gem. I got the Madre fries, Aztec, or shrimp tacos. All of them were tasty and filling

After looking around for a nice spot for a quick lunch I then found this cute, clean and warm fast food. The staff in here is so nice who happily greeted me when I came in and ask for my order. The staff is so friendly and definitely one of the best staff that I encountered so far. They have a wide selection of different Mexican foods in their menu and the prices are honestly fair and reasonable. The menu is so wide and has a lot of options that I felt I wanted to order because every Mexican food that are available on a fast food is there. The staff is patient while waiting for my order and I am glad that there is no one next to me because I take too much time in the counter. I then ordered something and got seated. The food came really quick and it has a nice portion and a bit unexpected to its price. After deciding too long on their counter I just ordered steak tacos because I said to myself that it is my first time and I should just try something and finally, their tacos are delicious. The meat is not dry and it is actually tender and juicy too. The flavor is all in there and it is also freshly cooked. I had such a good time in here. Randomly choosing a spot is not a bad thing at all. I enjoyed the food and the service and I will definitely be back!

I really love this Taco Madre! They have so huge selection for Mexican foods. Everything on their menu was freshly made, perfectly serve, creative, and so delicious. Their tacos are phenomenal, you will absolutely love every bite, and you will be going to order again. Taco Madre is very affordable and fantastic. All of their food on the menu has a fair price, all of it is worth to try, and just by looking to their food your mouth will absolutely waters. They make very delicious food, affordable, and much better than other food around the area. Their chips and salsa are also very good. They serve so fast, you can get your orders in just a few minutes, and all of them are working so quick. Also their cashiers are working so fast and you can actually checkout so easily. This place never disappoints. It is a small place full of quality and delicious food. They serve a large portion in such a reasonable price. Very convenient place. Their employees are also nice, friendly, and professional. They are very decent the way they talk and assist their customers. Outstanding service! Everyone was so nice! I would really love to visit and order here again soon when I am nearby. Taco Madre’s food and menu hits really different. They are lit. All of their food would keep me coming back again. This restaurant is lit. The tacos were really delicious. It was really a great decision for us to stop in here for lunch. We already went here before, and we were really satisfied with the food, and it is just a great feeling to be back. We came back and we were never disappointed because the food was as good as before. It is still the same small spot with just a casual ambiance and really quick service. Nothing changed at the restaurant except for their prices. The prices got higher, but they are still fair and reasonable for the quality of the food. Their menu did not change at all either. There are still many wonderful options for authentic Mexican cuisine. We ordered a lot. As for me, I ordered their tacos, specifically their al pastor tacos, and they were so delicious. The meat was so tender and full of flavor. It just tasted perfect. The seasoning and the ingredients were all fresh and tasted amazing. It was just a simple taco, but it definitely made me happy, and that is how good their tacos are. This restaurant is highly recommended! It is definitely one that is worth visiting.
