Really nice local shop.
I tried the popcorn shrimp and fries and it was delicious and crispy. The customer service here was really friendly.
The prices here are really good for the proportions they give you.
They also have some seating inside which was nice!
I also enjoyed their sauces

One of my favorite hot dogs in the western suburbs! The polish is really good never disappoints! Can't go wrong with the chicago style hot dog with fries either! Give them a try whenever you are in the area!

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl! I am about to start a fitness challenge for the wellness category. My last meal before training had to be this place ! The food is amazing, the FRIES ! Omg ! Also, everyone treats you with so much kindness. 10/10

Service was good - misspoke when ordering hot dogs, but they were fixed quickly and they didn't make me pay extra. Wasn't too busy when I got there, so from when I started my order to getting my food was about 4 minutes. The food itself was alright, but I'm a big fan of the fact that they have RC cola, which has been getting less common. Some of the tables were a bit messy, and I wish they didn't have to have gambling available there, but it's what it is at this point. Probably wouldn't have cared at all about it if I was ordering the food for carryout.

I love the food and service here. They have managed to keep prices at pre-pandemic levels without sacrificing quality. Their wraps are the size of a large burrito and are great. My daughter loves their authentic Chicago style hotdogs. The soup is phenomenal as well. I will be eating here more often with my family.

Great burgers, great price! And they correctly made my custom burger right, which a lot of places screw up. Highly recommend!

I’m a Green River fan and they had it on tap, awesome plus. We tried the hot dog special which was fine, they served up the dogs, on request with celery salt and HUGE sport peppers and dill pickle spears.

The gyros was pretty good as well, we just got taziki sauce on it and that was perfect by our standards.

No complaints from my daughter on the corn dogs.

By far hands down the best gyro/beef place left in town. 30+years

This is a great Chicago style fast food restaurant. Plus the menu has dozens of choices, and they always accommodate my plant based needs by letting me create my own sandwich
And if you’re ordering fries, come hungry, they give you a lot!
It’s sports themed inside, and good for family meal with a few TVs too

My ALL TIME FAVORITE "Mom n Pop" diner. Everything on the menu is simply fantastic

Went there for lunch, I ordered it to go. And the guy whom took my order he was nice. He actually sounds like he belongs on the radio. I told him that..he laughed. Anyway I sat in my car to wait for the order. I guess it was ready because he brung it out to my car. Now he didn't have to do that, But out of his good customer service practices, He didn't mind. I thanked him and I was highly appreciative toward him. The other workers were nice also. And they made my food fast! I love this place.

Found this diner thru Google and I'm glad we did. Menu has a vast variety, but we were there for the burgers. Absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

It’s a pretty laid back, small, regular hot dog joint. My spouse and I usually stick with the usuals: gyros, hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken strips, fries (with cheese or without). Everything is made when you order and there’s never an issue for us. Simple but good and not too expensive. They have Green river soda which is my fave and I always get that when I stop in here. Quick friendly service and a small laid back seating area. You can’t really go wrong with them.

My family loves the food here but today was my first time actually going inside and ordering. It's great for my family as I have a very picky eater who loves the mozzarella sticks here! As a vegetarian family, we love this place for getting yummy snack foods like mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, jalapeño poppers, fries, onion rings, etc. Basically a great place for all things fried. Highly recommend.

We are regulars at Doggie Diner, and honestly can’t say enough good things. Everything we’ve tried on the menu is delicious. Favorites include Gyros, Greek Burger, and the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. Fast service, reasonable prices, and great portions. The owner is so friendly and knows his customers.

everything i've had from here has been fantastic. the pork tenderloin sandwich is 10/10.

Before I start, I just want to say that I agree with the the other reviewer that the guy taking the order absolutely sounds like he's a radio host!

On to the restaurant, if you want a greasy spoon place that feels like Chicago, but in the burbs, you must go to this place. The food is excellent (I tried the gyro and polish) and they give you a lot, especially the fries! As a fry lover, I was very happy. The guys behind the counter, kudos to them for being so polite. Will definitely be going back to try what else they offer.
