What a pleasant stay! Everything was well kept and clean. The staff were very polite and accommodating. This is the first hotel we’ve stayed at in the past 4 years that actually provides full make-ups including clean towels… like in the old days. Our son loved the heated pool. Very quiet and enjoyable hotel! We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in Galesburg again.

Very peaceful and super clean. Karissa checked us in when we showed up with our semi truck & trailer without a reservation. She was so sweet and helpful and helped us get a discount signing up for the rewards program. Plenty of parking for semi’s! 👍👍

Wow, was really nicely decorated. Room was very nice. The breakfast was delicious. We were told receipt would be slid under our door. It wasn't and we had to go to the desk. No big deal at all, very easy.

Room was clean, staff was outstanding, complimentary breakfast was better than most, and can't beat the price. We didn't use indoor pool or fitness room but they looked clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay here again!

I had stopped coming to this hotel a few years ago, after they baited and switched me on their rates. However, I decided to give it another try after hearing it had switched ownership and they had done some remodeling.

Right out of the gate, they actually honored the rate I booked my room at. This was the same rate I used to book years ago and was then told they couldn’t honor it on the weekend when I showed up.

Room was really clean, in good shape, and had seemingly newer furniture (including a large TV) and nice bedding.

I had an issue with my shower head and toilet, that the staff promptly came down and fixed. I was out of the room then, but they called to update me about it very quickly. Front desk employees were very pleasant every time I interacted with them.

Breakfast was also on the better side for a standard hotel breakfast: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, muffins, yogurt, waffles, and pastries. I only got breakfast one one of the days, but they still had a good selection of everything, even when I got there towards the end.

The hotel is on the east side of town, so not close to most of the restaurants and stores out around Henderson, but still a few options close by, including: HyVee, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Jalisco, Orange Cup, KFC, and Pizza Hut.

Happy I gave it another chance and would definitely stay here again.

I dont by any means understand how this hotwl has any bad reviews. I feel thw people who wrote them are just hard to please and you could be doing everything right but to them, youre not. I stayed a couple of months ago for work and was so pleased with the hotel i booked another night and now im back again for work for another night. Staff is amazing, i couldnt find my room and the manager himself met me on the 2nd floor and walked with me to help me find my room. since it was so difficult for me to find it, he moved me to a room that was right by the exit and super easy to find. The rooms are super neat, clean, cozy, and beds are super comfortable. The rooms are big and have a smart tv in them which is awesome, i was able to watch my true crime shows on youtube on the tv that i was able to cast my phone to. Breakfast was good and fullfilling. The dining area is nice and bug and has nice seating, it actually looks like a fancy restauran, never seen a hotel dining room as nice aa thhis one. Location isnt too bad. Its kinda off the main rooom but still not too far from everything. 0i forgot my touletry bag at home but luckily the front desk had a lot of what i needed and the room had nice shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in it, and it was name brand high end stuff and not no cheap stuff

Awesome hotel! Looks like they have done alot of renovations. But the rooms are great and the service was better.

Great service (checked in at midnight and the young man at the front desk was both kind and funny!) very nice room, well kept location. All staff encountered were very kind. Maybe a bit on the pricy side ($15-30 too high) but the breakfast was above average and nearly made up for it. Would stay again if passing through and highly recommend.

I can only comment on the service I received because I wasn't able to make it. I was really looking forward to it. I had a hard time booking on their website but it was quick and easy with a 5 minute phone call. Then when unforseen circumstances arose, it was even easier to cancel. So far I haven't been charged and they said I wouldn't because I called before 11 am day before. This was a huge relief for me. For those reasons if I ever need a hotel and they are in the area, I'll chose them. It takes a lot of stress off traveling.

This is one of the best hotels that ive ever stayed in. From the check-in to checkout, i have no complaints. I was there for 21 days with my dog. And they were totally accommodating. The room was beautiful and that bed was so comfortable.

The best experience the staff was very friendly. Our room was always clean any questions we had to answer promptly incorrectly. I would recommend this hotel to any travelers. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

The service was exceptional. They were very friendly. They brought out a beautiful tray of fresh fruit to accompany an excellent breakfast. They had some WiFi issues which they are working to address.

A hidden gem! Beautiful accommodation and breakfast! A bit away from the highway but worth it. Not far from exit 48 on I-74. Glad we found it.

Well I am a Knox College graduate, so I have been to this hotel many times. But this time I discovered that just this year, it has come under new ownership. A family! The Patels. And they are putting SO much effort into making this venerable hotel thrive and shine. Megha behind the desk was so helpful and friendly and welcoming. Ricky, a roaming helper, actually helped with a number of small requests that I made. The food for breakfast was tasty and nutritious and well-prepared and HOT! Altogether, I felt like this family really wants to make this place into a destination that will make people feel like it is, in Galesburg, Illinois, a home away from home.

Great little spot close to my hunting property. Clean, free breakfast and no hassle! I’ll be back. I use this hotel 4-5 times a year.
