Love getting breakfast here when I'm in Galesburg. Lovely spot on Seminary street. The coffee of the day is always great. I really recommend the bananas foster waffles!

The best little restaurant in Galesburg. The spinach bisque is world famous. The atmosphere is terrific and Seminary street is always a fun place to visit.

This is a really nice place! The atmosphere is very cozy, but doesn't feel crowded. I got the grilled cheese thing and it was delicious!!! Everyone I was with really enjoyed their food. There was a slight problem with the portobello sandwich as it seemed a little burned, but it wasn't really that big of an issue. I recommend coming here and getting a bite to eat! I will be back!!!

Our server was great. I have some food allergies and she went into the kitchen more than once to ensure my food was safe.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch. Were amazed how busy it was at 2:00 in the afternoon, obviously a popular place. I can see why, though - quality food, great service, nice ambience. I ordered a delicious broccoli bleu cheese quiche, and the side salad with Italian parmesan vinaigrette was a perfect complement. My dining partner had "the works", a grilled sandwich with roasted beef, sauteed onions and mushrooms, with marinated vegetables. We thought we'd have dessert but we were too full.

I cant say enough good things about this place. The owner was so welcoming, the staff was great and the food was absolutely delightful. I came here for the first time in 1990 and it’s still easily the best place in Galesburg to eat.

Not my cooking, I initially made a mistake by ordering the burgundy steak crepe. While the crepe was perfectly cooked and colored, it lack severely on flavor. The sou cream on top couldve been better with Jalapeño Creme cheese and the steak inside would've been better if they were not chunks but rather shredded and with a little more salt and pepper. With that said, my fiance Chicken Sandwhich was beyond great! I can't put a finger on what sauce they got in it but boy did it made the while experience way better. The service was phenomenal, the server notice I wasn't touching my crepe at all and was quick to ask if I wanted something else. I ordered the crab cake sliders and boy was it night and day! The crab cakes were to die for. Too bad I've lost my appetite from the crepe. I shouldve ordered the sliders to begin with. Over all I give this place a 9/10. Price was extremely low for the quality they serve (excluding the steak crepe apparently). The server also took off the unseasoned crepe from out check which was a bonus! So thank you!

Oh I forgot ee also ordered both bisque and they were so good I didn't got a chance to take a picture lol

Amazing food, coffee and dessert. The espresso was fresh and very smooth. For the coffee of the day was Butter Scotch Toffee. Crab Cake sliders were cooked perfectly. Soup and Sandwich were both flavorful and just the right amount of food. Praline Crape for dessert was out of this world. Service was wonderful as well.

This is a "don't miss" restaurant. We traveled a ways off our route to stop here and it didn't disappoint. Every meal was amazing and the dessert crepes are crazy. We had great service and would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but there was a high pitched noise that distracted from our experience. Service was top notch.

I am beyond pleased with my visit to The Landmark! Nick was amazing, I have very particular dietary needs, and he took them very seriously and worked them out with the chef, and my food was delicious and safe for me. I am so impressed 👏

Had to get the spinach bisque. They were not wrong. Worth a try, not a spinach fan but it was good. Not sure if have to get again every time unlike when the rest of my party comes here but would at least snag a bite of one's. Wagyu meatloaf sandwich was very good tho would get again, it disappeared fast. I normally am also not a huge fan of meatloaf as well but it was amazing I'd even go as far as to say, at least in their sandwich form, with the spicy ketchup, crispy onions and great bun.

I stopped by for lunch on my way from Cedar Rapids to Indianapolis. I was looking for outdoor seating, and this adorable place delivered. Everyone was very nice, and the patio was a beautiful, quiet place to enjoy a meal. I ordered their coffee flavor of the day (lovely), and the crab cakes with cilantro-lime aioli. I’m not exaggerating when I say they were the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. Perfect texture and wonderful, fresh flavor. The asparagus and a rice were both cooked to perfection as well. I ordered a strawberry crepe for dessert, which was also quite good. They have streamlined their COVID process, and while different, it was not uncomfortable or awkward. I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely return if I happen to be in the area again.

The best food in Knox County, hands down. Absolutely must visit if you are in Galesburg, do not pass on the Spinach Bisque or the Pecan Praline Coffee.

Crepes creep me out.

Are the not just a pancake? Like, a really thin pancake? Or are pancakes a crepe ripoff?

My friend Laura told me about this place and actually suggested a day trip to Galesburg. She had been here before and raved about it and said I needed to experience it. Without twisting a single arm, I agreed.

I’m not sure what I expected and after all this time, I still don’t think I properly processed the interior of this place. It looked like super upscale inside but there was a patio with outdoor seating that seemed to have a jungle vibe to it? A dichotomy of sorts.

Either way, we sat down and started going over the menu. I didn’t view the menu before hand so I expected breakfast and some simple cafe items. I was not prepared for a full-on restaurant. My plan was to order something breakfast-y, but after seeing the menu, I was not so sure. I settled on a grilled sandwich. Possibly the White BBQ Chicken or Turkey Melt with a side of chips.

What was put down in front of me had a very basic look to it. I looked at my friend’s food and was instantly ‘food envious’. But no matter, it’s not how the food looks on the plate but how it tastes that matters in the end. I tried the chips first, expecting them to be Kitchen Cooked (a regional favorite) but they tasted homemade. Deliciously homemade. That got me stoked to try my sandwich, so I took the first bite.

The plain look on the plate (as seen below) was just a façade. It blew my socks off. I remember thinking that this is what premium tastes like. This is what fresh ingredients and no cutting corners will get you. That sandwich did not last long. I cleared my plate before Matt or Laura were halfway done with their meal. It doesn’t help that I am a fairly fast eater in the first place. Throw in a dash of deliciousness to the food and it disappears even quicker.

The place is a bit pricey are around $12+ per person. But I can say the quality on this visit was fantastic. If you can splurge the few extra dollars for Landmark, I say go for it.

We went for the crepes, I got a sandwich. My friends say the crepes are fantastic and I hope one day to experience them. In the mean time, I will savor the memory of that delicious sandwich.
