Pizzeoli Wood Fired Pizza

Came here while on vacation and was greated with a romantic vibe and kind faces. Started off with the garlic knots that were absolutely phenomenal. They had a perfect garlic taste with a hint of spicyness from pepper. Followed that up with the St Louis Pepperoni Pizza and the Margarita Pizza. Both were absolutely amazing. I'd suggest if you don't like the flavor of "burn", then ask your server for it to be cooked a little less. Parking was free, but on the street. Overall, this was a nice little joint and to anyone who reads these reviews, it's absolutely worth the visit!

So I was in St. Louis for work and felt like grabbing a pizza for dinner. I fired up Google and found Pizzeoli and figured I’d give it a go. It was a 10 min drive from my hotel by the arch. Man I’m glad I came the place a small but super cool looking. The inside is great with a little bar and several tables. I ordered my pizza to go and sat down to wait. The staff were very friendly and made sure to check if I needed anything. My pizza was ready in about 10 min. Definitely can tell it was cooked in a wood oven and it was crispy and burnt just right. It was so good I finished it before I was back at my hotel. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.

I've spent the last few years looking for a pizza that I really like and it looks like I've finally found it. It is very good! The garlic bread is spectacular. The staff is super kind. We here loved that small place!

Everything about this place was great. The smell alone told me I was about to have a great meal. We loved the garlic knots and pizza. Our favorite pizza was the Heat Stroke. Service was great and fast.

Stumble upon your place after looking at lights at the Brewery. Everything was AMAZING!!! We live in Lake Saint Louis and will definitely make the drive to come back. The food was amazing, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was also amazing. Finally good pizza in St. Louis!!!!!

For my vegan and/ or vegetarian friends there is a pretty big pizza selection for both! So you get to enjoy amazing pizza too 😘 🥗 🥦 🍕

Pleasant place to have some family dining or one on one time with a friend. My family (party of 10) made reservations the day before and received amazing outstanding service throughout. I’ve been here a few times before and honestly they never miss. From the candlelight scenery to the choices off the menu, overall a great place to visit.

Very good pizza and good drinks! If we could have ordered every pizza we would have, but we got the Lumberjack Snack and the arancini. Sooo good.

Best drinks (hazelnut old fashioned) and pizza in STL. They also have gluten free wings and pizza! Best wings we have ever had. The arugula salad is on point as well. Can’t wait to go back.

One of the greatest Neapolitan Margherita pizzas I’ve ever had. Sauce is delicious and the crust is soft and chewy. Love going for Wednesday and Thursday happy hour!

I’ve been coming here for years and it never fails to hit the spot. The fresh, high quality, locally sourced, ingredients make all the difference and you can taste it. The pies out of the handmade pizza oven are top of the line when it comes to that classic Neapolitan style. The crust is soft and fluffy with even leoparding throughout. I always get the Margherita and the only way it could possibly be better is if they used buffalo mozzarella instead of the more common cow variety. This time around I tried the “New York” pizza which uses fontinella and fontina. I will admit this particular pie was relatively bland compared to the Margherita. I won’t be getting that one again but it was worth a shot. As for the other items on the menu the chili-kissed garlic knots are sublime and the wings are ethereal. Sometimes we come and only order two plates of wings and no pizza. They’re that good. These guys are free range, antibiotic free, and local from Buttonwood Farms. They’re brined in house and fried to order in beef tallow which provides a level of depth and umami that you won’t find in an average wing - 9.4/10 clucks. My favorite sauce is the pineapple habanero that I enjoy on the side as to allow for an unadulterated, sauceless, bite when I please. Overall I couldn’t recommend Pizzeoli enough. Every friend I’ve brought here over the years has enjoyed it as much as I have.

Had the BEST gluten free wings I’ve ever had in my life. Incredible texture and flavor! The pizza was also really good, although the crust was thin for my liking. Also had a spiked hot cider that was incredible! Highly recommend. I have Celiac and did not get sick from this place.

This place is fantastic! The staff is SO friendly and the food is awesome. Shout out to the bartender the day we were there - he was so nice and put the cherry on top to our first Pizzeoli experience! We will definitely be back :)

The fact there was a line as soon as they opened might be telling. Pizzeoli is truly tasteful with a relaxed atmosphere. The service was top-notch and the ambience had an Aura of home about it.

The Buffalo wings were more unique in being a creamier take on the sauce with a good size to the wings themselves. We tried the Smokestack pizza. Wood-fire cooked is distinguishable, although I would have preferred a stronger sausage taste(but that is just me)

NOTEWORTHY: Try the Chili-kissed garlic knots. Everything you expect with a kick to it.

Excellent food and service. We didn't have a reservation but got there early before the Saturday evening rush and were able to walk in right away. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options and good brews. My only minor complaint is that the veg sausage was sweet like breakfast sausage; it should have been savory/spicy. I would definitely go back to try the other pizzas.

After hearing about Pizzeoli for years, I finally made it in and I’m completely obsessed! The food is all incredible with something on the menu for every dietary need. The restaurant is perfect for a laidback night out! Street Parking. Reservations recommended!

Amazing pizza.. owner is so invested in making this place somewhere to come back to. Comfortable seating. Great full service bar. Swings from upscale dining to casual. Great social stl vibe.. the bartender Daniel rocked!! Highly recommended. In business since 2014

This is the greatest tasting pizza I have ever had.

The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. It felt like Christmas. The music was nice and soft enough so we could hear it, but not loud enough where we had to shout. The restaurant is clean and rustic with old photos hanging everywhere. The tables are lit by candles.

The smell from the entrance is amazing. It smelled like a bakery and a pastry shop at the same time. The restaurant smelled clean. The closest comparison I would have is like artisan soap. It was pleasant and flagrant. The only complaint I have is that the water cups are too small. We had 7 people so it went through it quickly. If you have a normal sized party, you'll be alright.

I was already a fan of the restaurant when the food came. The pizza is unparalleled. I have never had pizza as amazing as I had. They bake it fresh in restaurant. The crust was cooked to perfection and I (as someone who hates crust) i loved it. The crust was charred to perfection and was crunchy. It paired well with the cook of the dough, which was perfectly cooked.

The crust felt like a burnt marshmallow. It set the standard for pizza moving forward. The pizza was light and crispy. Each of the flavors of pizza combined into a piece of art. No words I have would do the pizza justice. I felt as if I were in a trance after each bite. I was silent as each bite took me further and further into flavor town.
Pizzeoli is not a restaurant. Pizzeoli is an art museum and the chefs the artists. If you are looking at food options, please stop here. The food atmosphere and staff are amazing. Please consider it for your next meal.

Probably my favorite pizza in all of St. Louis. Wood fired and cooked to perfection, with a great selection of menu item pizzas or of course you can build your own. Beer selection and drink options are on point. Very slept on place imo although it’s becoming more known in the local food scene.
