Harbor House Inn

We loved staying here! It was beautiful and perched just above all the action, with lovely views of the bay. Kristie was a great hostess, and breakfasts were amazing. We particularly liked having a suite, which included not only a small kitchen but also a view deck on the back side overlooking the yard, trees and the bay.

The Harbor House Inn was a great place to stay in Booth Bay Harbor Maine. The suite with a separate bedroom and a deck and kitchenette and sitting area provided a nice amount of space, very fresh, clean and comfortable with a wonderful view of Boothbay Harbor from the private deck. The stay was just what my husband and I were looking for. We would definitely return and highly recommend this Inn.

Kristie Chapman, the hostess and chef was so kind, attentive and helpful. She is an amazing cook as well. We stayed three nights, July 24th through 27th 2023 and enjoyed our stay very much. Upon adding the third night to our stay, we were offered two free tickets to see the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. They were beautiful and we were glad to see them, if only for a quick visit...still, so many flowers and fountains and sculptures to see, just a nice stop in a very pleasant visit to the Boothbay Harbor area in Maine.

This is the ideal place to spend a long weekend in coastal Maine. The Inn is quaint, clean, and lovely, and the innkeeper Kristi is a wonderful host and fabulous cook. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a wonderful stay at the Harbor House Inn! The host was friendly, communicative, and was kind enough to help us plan some day trips. The home is comfortable with a beautiful view of the harbor from the porch. The highlight for us were definitely the delicious breakfasts! The host even went out of her way to accommodate my vegetarian diet. We absolutely loved our stay here and will be recommending the Harbor House Inn to everyone.

We had a wonderful stay. Room was perfect for what we needed, inn was close to everything, the view was beautiful, and the breakfast was outstanding. The host made sure we have everything we needed, and gave us great recommendations of surrounding areas to explore. Thank you for making our Boothbay visit most memorable! We'll be back!

This was a private vacation for just myself, my husband and puppy did not come. The breakfasts at this Inn were really wonderful and the inn keeper, Kristie was terrific. I stayed in the Abigail Room (#1) and it was lovely and very comfortable!! Thank you Kristie for a lovely relaxing time!! I will be coming again next season, hopefully and bring my husband a the pup, Gidget.

We had the BEST stay! Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Loved the private back deck with views of the harbor. Breakfast was amazing. But it was really Christie who made our visit phenomenal. She totally understands hospitality and was the most gracious and accommodating host.

We had friends spend their wedding night at the Harbor House Inn, and we wanted to have a special gift waiting when they arrived. We met the innkeeper, Kristie, who showed us her charming establishment. She was happy to take care of our request. Our friends were delighted! Our impression of the inn is that it is first rate in all respects. We will not hesitate to recommend it to all who visit Boothbay Harbor.

Kristie the Innkeeper is delightful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. The location of the inn is so nice. On top of the hill overlooking the harbor, it’s quiet and peaceful.

Harbor House Inn is perfectly located, on the top of a hill with an amazing view of the Harbor. The room was large and the bed amazingly comfortable. Kristie was nice and helping (and her blueberry pancakes delicious).

Highly recommended. Had a very spacious feel to it, with spectacular views of Boothbay Harbor. Breakfast was excellent and thanks to the innkeepers local knowledge we had a delightful morning kayak paddle launching from Ocean Point in East Boothbay.

Very nice bread and breakfast, centrally located. We plan to make this our first stop when we return to this quaint town. Fantastic views too.

Beautiful, relaxing, great breakfast! Innkeeper Kristie taught us a lot about Boothbay and suggested fun activities. She’s a great ambassador for Boothbay and the three peninsulas! We highly recommend this inn!
