Capri Ristorante

Capri is one of the nicest Italian restaurants we have ever been to. The atmosphere there is lively and busy yet cozy. The food is genuine and the flavors are amazing. I highly recommend their take on fried calamari! All of the entrees we had were delicious. Kids' pizzas were huge.. great experience!

Visited with a group of 10, service was friendly and all of the orders came perfectly.

Great food! Service good. Good servings sizes. A little pricey but worth it. Will definitely go back. Tables really close together and a little dark inside. Good thing there is a little table lamp to see the menu!

Capri has become our favorite Italian American restaurant in all of Chicagoland.

As a first generation Italian American of Calabrian descent, I (James) grew up eating the most amazing cuisine from my beloved mother including her eggplant parmigian, baked clams, smelts, fried zucchini flowers from the garden, her gravy made with oxtails and neckbones, her phenomenal meatballs, lasagna, stuffed artichokes, manicotti, veal lemone, pasta fagioli, arancini, and her amazing escarole soup to name a few.

I have had the privilege to dine at nearly every reputable ma and pa Italian restaurant over five decades, and it is rare when you discover a restaurant that gives some of your mother’s culinary creations a respectful run for her money.

Capri is that restaurant.

Upon our most recent visit, Katherine and I, once again, thoroughly enjoyed the eggplant rolls in which the eggplant was cooked and prepared unto perfection. It melts in your mouth and has a perfect ratio of ricotta and ever delicious, amazing marinara.

I have had so much calamari growing up that I have become enough of a calamari tasting authority, along with Katherine.

First, it is a nuanced art to cook calamari to make sure it’s tender and perfect and not overcooked to become like eating rubber.

Second, calamari is enjoyed by Italians in a few classic manifestations included being breaded or grilled.

We had, once again, the Calamari Capri and it was as exceptional as ever!

I don’t generally favor breaded calamari over an amazing grilled calamari dish, but Capri has achieved a light breading that is so delicious and unlike the heavier coated, burnt oil-tasting breaded calamari that is the unfortunate norm of many Chicagoland restaurants.

The lemon, garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flake rue that the delicately cooked and delicious Cslamari Capri sits upon is five star and sets Capri’s lightly breaded calamari apart from even the closest contender which would be La Sorella di Francesca’s in Naperville!

Best Italian food I’ve had pretty much anywhere in the world. My parents are frequent guests and took me and my girlfriend while visiting and nothing really comes close to this. Everything tasted incredible with portions to last for 2 more meals. There’s no surprise why this place is always jammed packed! Great job to Gigi and the team!

A nice start with warm bread is always appreciated. The butter is soft and spreadable or you can go with the oil and parmasan on the table. The homemade rigatoni is outstanding. Huge thick rolls of pasta are unlike any pasta I've ever had before. Matched with the vodka sauce is perfect. Great job guys. My wife loves the chicken marsala (her favorite is La Scarola) and lemonchello for dessert. Not the correct spelling but my wife actually starts her meal with dessert here, really really good. Tried the ravioli with the vodka sauce and was very good. My stepdaughter tried the lasagne and said it was just OK. Capri in Burr Ridge is in our top 20 Italian restaurants in the city.

Very nice place. Outside patio was nice but they do need a solution for the heat so keep that in mind if wanting to sit outside. The food is super tasty. Everything we had was very well cooked and prepared. Our server Alton was incredibly nice and friendly. They are open until 11pm but their sister night club is right next door so your fun nught iut can continue there. They offer $10 valet parking but you can park yourself as well.

We went to Capri in Burr Ridge for my birthday and everything I was told about Capri was accurate! The food was fantastic, the prices were much better than expected and the service was great. Only "issue" if there was one is how dark the dining room is. We went for lunch and we could hardly see where we were going. Otherwise, a really good time all around!

Service and food are top notch and I love coming here with my wife for our important celebrations. Give this restaurant a chance and you’ll be back for more.

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, is it packed yes, so what?! Was our reservation 30 minutes behind? Yes, so what?! Have a drink and enjoy life it is short. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. The food was probably one of the best I’ve had in the country. Thank you! Definitely coming back soon.

We went there for my husband's B'Day. The staff was very nice. There was no long wait. The atmosphere was calm. I loved the lighting and the food was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and sang Happy Birthday to my husband. We loved it and We will definitely go back again .

A number 1 of choices for Italian food in the Chicago area. The service was fabulous and the choices are many. Tried a new dish that will be in my favorites list.

Had a wonderful time with my family at Capri. Showed up a tad earlier than my reservation and was easily able to go to the bar to get a cocktail.

We were able to get seared within about 5 minutes of our reservation time which was considerate. We got seated in the heated patio, which was actually a lot quieter than the main part of the restaurant. Service was quick. Food was delicious. Portions were huge!

OMG!! What an experience! It’s like a show and dinner all in one. Seeing and meeting the owner is a must. Loaded with energy and a passion for serving the BEST AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD! They use their family recipes from Italy and you can taste it. It’s like no other food I have eaten. The music, staff, decor, food and owners are a must see and a must experience! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!!

Went there for a diner with family and we booked the room in the back. The waiter was attentive and food was good. I had the vesuvio chicken and it was solid. But best of all was the calamari we ordered fried and griled both very good.

This place is phenomenal. the food was most likely the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. the portions are huge and tasteful. only issue I had was the Credit card transaction fee of $10.00 which i thought was odd. But I would highly recommend this place.

Grilled calamari appetizer was so good. The shrimp and scallop Alfredo was so good. They pride themselves in the quality of the food. Little pricey but it's good. Summer will be a great atmosphere.

Been coming here for probably 15 years and it continues to be the best service, food, and vibe. I mean, Gigi and his staff have it absolutely figured out. From the service to the food, everything is lights out. The staff are more than welcoming. The food is consistently excellent and HOT. The vibe is off the chain. I mean, you cannot beat Capri. It’s a MUST.
