Idlewood Park

This is our favorite local park. There are play areas for many ages. The playground equipment is well maintained and we love the swings. We’ve been coming to this park for several years now and our toddler loves it.

Busy, spacious park. Big shelters with picnic tables and a wide variety of playground equipment. The water fountain is nice and there is equipment to play bags.

Great park with several playgrounds, picnic areas, amphitheater, lots of trees. Kids love it.

A wonderland of a park. There are actually a few different playground areas here and plenty of open space for kicking a ball around. The park is thoughtfully set up to accommodate a range of ages on the playgrounds. I love that they have a storybook walk around the perimeter, and they update the storybooks every couple months. Lots of space for picnicking on the grass or at tables under the pavillion. They also have an outdoor amphitheater and host live performances in the summer. Dogs are not allowed but the ampitheater/pavillion/playground area, but you can walk your dog around the park.

GIANT park with everything a kid (or adult!) could ask for in a park. The playground equipment is clearly new but also isn't neutered, boring, "safety park" stuff (there's a spinning thingamajig that I would absolutely go on if I was half my size). The pool is wonderful and has dope slides and wasn't crowded at all on a Thursday afternoon, but also wasn't dead either. Lots of shade from mature trees and a little bit of terrain variety that makes tossing a Frisbee around more interesting. A wonderful gem of a park!

Great park! Three playgrounds, lots of green space, and accessible paths. Good for little and bigger kids. Plenty of shade. Close to the grade school and pool.

A very enjoyable park and well worth a visit! They have a ton of different equipment and a good chunk of it is accessible to kids of all ability levels. There is a larger play area with two playsets, a ton of swings, and a few other play items. There is also a smaller, more traditional play area next to the concessions stand and bathrooms (hooray!). There is a ton of Green space and the park is clearly well maintained. It was a lot of fun for our family!

Great playground with independent play items and cooperative play items like 3 rope swings that go in a circle. It makes for a great thing for older kids to be able to help the littles and interact with them. Encourages making friends and bit so we like making friends! ❤

GREAT place for kids. Not enough shade on the playground, but they just put a bunch of new equipment in and the kids loved it. Some rather unique playground stuff too. I just wish they had a bigger pavilion for parties.

Best park to take your children to in Morton. Multiple playgrounds so even it's busy it doesn't feel crowded. Also a wide variety of things for kids young and older to interact with

Great for the kids. Lots of space for everyone to run and play. Pool is great. Theater is awesome when they have something going on. They have bathrooms. Parking can be challenging at times.

Great park for kids of all ages to play. New play equipment in spring of 2018. Adjacent to the local pool and has free concerts and movies in the summer months.

Great place to take family. They have a Beautiful playground for the kids .
