Went here for the first time with my friend just to try it out…. LOVE IT. Obsessed would be an understatement. Day pass was $20 and the owner Lety was super sweet and helpful. Super clean and open spaced and organized. Definitely will be coming here more often!

Personally grateful for this gym. You get a good bang for your buck. The owner and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Plenty of equipment/space to go around even during peak hours. Not only that but a grocery store is right across the street to fuel up after a good lift. Letty, the owner, is always looking for new ways to improve her gym and has a lot of pride in what she's built. She deserves it. Great gym.

I love this local gym! The owner, Letty, and staff members are all so kind, friendly and welcoming! I truly feel valued as a member of this gym (coming from a corporate gym). The first thing that made me feel right at home are the plants! I appreciate the cleanliness of the gym, and there are wipes for equipments. There are a great variety of machines/equipments for all exercises, and more are being added! Overall, a great community vibe!

5 stars isn't enough for Pilsen's Gym. I honestly enjoy coming here so much. The owner and staff are absolutely amazing people who make you feel welcomed. The gym is properly equipped with cardio equipment, machines and weights galore! Not to mention it is squeaky clean. I'm so glad they incorporated yoga classes with Miss Janine on Mondays as well.

Five stars all around. Leti, Maria, & Arletha treat you like family. The gym & locker rooms are always clean. They're constantly making improvements to the gym & they cultivate a safe space for everyone. You feel embraced & welcomed that you start looking forward to coming in.

This is a true neighborhood gym! People who go here look like the neighborhood and the prices serve the neighborhood’s economic status. I’ve loved Pilsen gym for the two years I’ve been a member here. The owner is a welcoming woman who gets to know the people who come. She has done a really wonderful job re-establishing this gym after being mismanaged by the former owner in the pandemic. The facilities have improved just in the 2 years I was a member here. Plus, unlike other places I’ve been a member that make it impossible to end my membership, I just walked in and told her I had moved and needed to end my membership, and she did it right there on the spot.

Ultimately, Pilsen gym is great. If you’re interested in a gym to get fit, pursue personal goals, or meet people in the neighborhood, this is it!

This place is like my 2nd home. The owner is incredibly kind and has done a lot of work to make sure it’s a space you want to spend time in. There’s always new equipment, classes and awesome people from the neighborhood. Highly recommend joining this gym!

Don’t spend your hard earned money on corporate owned gyms. Invest back into your community by supporting a Latina-owned, women-ran gym. The affordable monthly membership coupled with a squeaky clean environment and good equipment meets all the requirements of a walkable neighborhood gym.

This is hands down the best gym in the neighborhood 10/10. Equipment is all very new, super clean, and it’s never too busy. Letty is awesome and really makes this gym a welcoming place.

Clean. Orderly. Friendly. Several sets of dumbbells for busy times. The new owner Letty Phillips does a great job making this place great.

This place is a great, no frills gym. It's cheap, clean, and convenient for anyone in the Pilsen area. If you're looking for a lot of amenities (lots of classes, pool, sauna, 24/7, etc.), this isn't the place. If you need a variety of equipment and nobody bothering you, this is it! There are squat racks, two deadlift areas, and lots of dumb bells. There's even a studio for anything you'd want to do.

The new ownership has done a number of upgrades and she keeps getting new equipment in. I suspect it'll keep improving.

I only wish they opened earlier on weekdays. I start work at 7am, and they open at 6am. 😔

This gym is amazing! It's a woman own gym and the culture because of it I think is great. The gym itself is super clean, there's a lot of free weights and every machine you need, including cardio machines. Everyone here is super respectful and kind too! I love coming here!!

The $20 day pass was an excellent choice. Called around to a few gyms, inevitably went to this one as it was close to hotel. Will definitely be back every time I’m in Chicago. Also the coffee shop down the street is Heckin’ cool. Good gym. Good coffee. Good times amirite?

Great, no frills gym. Has everything you need for weights and cardio (plenty of machines, bench’s, racks, and free weights) and they also offer exercise classes that I’ve heard are pretty nice! It’s very clean, with a great atmosphere and the other gym-goers are very accommodating (can cycle-in a set with anyone, share equipment, etc).
Great monthly price as well. There’s some parking in front as well too if you need to drive to get here. Definitely give this place a look

This is the best place to workout in Pilsen. Lots of great cardio equipment. It’s clean, has renovated locker rooms and the staff is friendly. Excellent weightlifting equipment as well. Power racks, deadlift platforms, new cable machines and awesome plate loaded leg equipment. Imo it’s the best gym for the price in Pilsen.

Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to go into this gym and see for myself since it's right around the corner from my place. The owner welcomed me so warmly. She told me she had taken over and is trying to redo the entire gym. She showed me around, told me her plans and goals, and I can see the improvements from week to week. She is there every single day from open to close, she's a hard worker, and you can tell she cares about the gym. I would cut her some slack if something negative happens because she is doing a ton of work mostly by herself. I don't mind the sign-up fee, because I am more than happy to help fund all the work she has put into making this gym better. Besides, $35 for a monthly membership in the city is very inexpensive. I am not a serious weightlifter or gym-goer, so this gym is perfect for my needs. And to my eyes it's beautifully well done! Every time I go, the owner always greets me with a smile, we chit chat for a bit, and she makes the experience an even more positive one! I don't know anything about this gym prior to this summer, so I can't speak to the differences from before 'til now, but I will say that I have had a great experience thus far.

I love everything about Pilsen Gym! Non stop cleaning of the gym and equipment, welcoming. Not to mention it just keeps getting better and better. New equipment. WOMAN OWNED, and she is very sweet, will take her time out and have conversations with you. As a Pilsen resident it’s super convenient and a 6 min walk from home. This is the first gym that I have been coming to consistently and excited to belong to, everyone I encounter is super nice.
