Amazing experience !!! Went to go visit the fire station did a 20hours ride to love this amazing day !! We met some amazing firefighter that were really nice and gave us a tour of the fire station and took as much photos we wanted.Very impressed and you not change the amazing experience we got there! Thank you for giving me and my family this amazing day !!! Being a firefighter myself for the last 22 years was amazing to meet brotherhood firefighters

We visited the Fire Departement because of "Chicago Fire" and Mr. Sanchez and his colleague were so nice and friendly and took us with a few other visitors into the building and gave us lots of information behind the scenes of the serie and how the department looks in reality.

Huge thankyou to, Ortiz! Made my dreams come true today. I had watched the show [Chicago Fire] and just couldn't visit Chicago without seeing Firehouse 51. He talked to me about cast members, gave me a tour, and we had a pleasant discussion aside from the show.

You can come up and take pictures outside no problem, but they will come out and offer you a complete tour, the ins and outs of what they really do, how filming works and the entire history of the station and the Great Fire. From the Captain all the way down, every single person here was friendly and informative. I can not go on how amazing and welcoming they were. Truly a class act. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness.

We had a great time at the “Chicago Fire” firehouse. At first we were hesitant but once we got closer everyone was really pleasant. The fireman who gave us the tour was funny and very nice. They sell shirts at the end of the tour as well.

The guys and gals we met with here were great. The hospitality was awesome and we all felt welcome. Of course we stopped by house 51 because of the tv show, but the real heros are always there. I 100% recommend anyone to stop by if your in the area.

Great experience and one of my best days in Chicago. At first I felt uncomfortable because I thought I would bother the fire station. They do such important and probably energy draining work, and I must be one of hundreds of people coming in.

At first I didn't even know it's possible to see the inside. We were checking out the fire station from the outside and at some point someone let us in - SO NICE !

I actually went back 4 days later to buy another t-shirt, one if the merchandise they sell there. Again, someone welcomed us in although they were about to eat lunch, how nice was that! I even got to sit in the firetruck and I was able to ask some questions.

Overall: you can't expect to be let in as they get so many visitors, they might not see you or are busy, who knows. I was very appreciative that they took the time to let me in. Patience was key :-) THANK YOU! for your service and for your generosity to let us in!!!

Omg i got to see a Firehouse in Chicago Fire Department 51 but it’s really call Chicago Fire Department - Engine Co. 18 we got to go in the station I gave them our CFA hat

I visited here because I am fun of Chicago Fire.Unfortunately I could not enter inside building, but could feel the reality directly. It was exiting for me.

I visited this fire house because of the show Chicago fire. The person who gave us the tour was really nice.

I’m sure with the amount of people that stop these firefighters never get any rest but I’m here to tell u we stopped yesterday got a tour and tshirt decided we wanted to go back for a hat and the amount of kindness and respect and hospitality that they all gave us was exceptional if ur ever in the area and want to visit I would highly recommend it! Stay safe guys and thank you for showing us that not all Chicago people are rude and nasty!

My granddaughter and I are big fans and wanted to get pictures of the house .. but got an amazing tour from firefighter Nick ! A wonderful young man ! It was a great way to start her hockey tournament weekend

November 17, 2022 8-9am on Roosevelt and ashland. #65 saved my life. Helped keep my son safe. Gather my belongings and made sure my car was parked safely. They're the real MVPs. I am forever grateful. I pray for your safety all the time. Thank you is an understatement

The firefighters were nice yet they were professional. The building was clean as well as the vehicles.

i visited this place a while back as a field trip and it was amazing, i was watching “Chicago Fire” and was like “wait i been there before, that’s the place we went to on our field trip” and all the memories just started flooding in i loved it😍. sadly when we visited their Dalmatian was pretty old so we couldn’t talk to him/her but it was awesome everyone was nice the place was great. i remember being shocked while looking at their bunks and where they got dress, and there living room or their sitting room it was just so cool. the fire truck was amazing was part of the reason y i want to be a fire fighter, i wish i could visit again. Can’t say it enough i LOVED it.

Mike was so kind to my kiddos. They are huge Chicago Fire fans. He opened up the bay doors and showed them around. Their minds were blown. Thank you so much for a great experience!
