Farm 23

We got so many baked goods, it was kind of ridiculous. To be fair everything looked good and it also tasted really good. We mostly got cookies and pastries, but I also got a bagel and drinks. We looked into this place because our hotel served their bread for breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE. I will absolutely come here again when I'm back in the area and would recommend stopping by if you have the chance!

Laura makes the best pastries EVER! I have been following Farm23 on social media since before they opened and I’m SOO glad I did.(I‘m just so upset at myself for taking so long to write a WELL overdue review) This is hands down the BEST bakery I have EVER been to! (and being from Long Island, NY I have been to A LOT of bakeries.) My wife and I have been a customer of Farm23 since it opened! Every year we have to visit multiple times for breakfast. We love to get the Fruit Danishes (our favorite) and coffee then go to Ocean Point (or any other of the beautiful places in Boothbay Harbor) to eat and enjoy the views. Since our birthdays happen to fall in the dates we visit we love to get our Bday cakes from Farm23. They all have been so delicious! Laura is amazing and can make just about any cake you want! Their service is always great! Josh makes sure you are attended to and has great suggestions for amazin’ places to eat around town or things to do! This place is a MUST for anyone visiting the Boothbay region. You won’t be disappointed, TRUST ME! Also, a word of advice..... GET THERE EARLY FOR THE BEST SELECTIONS :)

Laura and Farm 23 made us the most amazing cakes for our wedding. We ordered the lemon cake with lemon frosting and lemon curd and the chocolate cake with cappuccino frosting and chocolate ganache -- both were absolutely delicious! Laura was able to create the exact style we were looking for, and our guests raved about how good they were!

I can't adequately express how much we all loved the cakes! All three were perfect and delicious. Laura is so very talented and does beautiful work with professionalism. She is prompt to return messages, and I didn't have to "lift a finger" for the cake delivery and set-up.

I ordered my wedding cake from Farm 23, and it was absolutely fabulous! I was planning my wedding from far away, so I shared my ideas for the cake with Laura over email and hoped for the best. They made the exact cake I had been envisioning, and it tasted even better than it looked! The whoopie pies were delicious also! I can't recommend Farm 23 highly enough. I am already wanting to plan a trip back to BBH just to order another cake from Farm 23!

Captain log Sept 10th of the 23rd year of the 2000's. Planet Earth... This place is such a boothbay hidden gem and so disrespectful towards my waistline. Why did they have to make those cinnamon rolls so delicious and huge?*4th one in 4 day* I hope less people find out about this place and they have just enough clients to keep them happy, because I selfishly hate the lines . But the early bird gets the worm folks. Get the buns and the breakfast burritos on Thursdays. No I won't post the cinnamon buns because "they will come"

Loved all the baked goods. I will have to try the blueberry bars next time. I also like those coconut candles.

Our new coffee shop! Amazing service, fast and friendly. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD good. Its great finding a place that stays open for the locals not just the vacationers. We absolutely love this place and the staff are what make it.

We are visiting and our friend introduced me to this place after a swim, got a huge cinnamon roll. Yummy. Ended up getting some other treats to bring home, haven't tried them yet but they look delicious! Update...it was all really good! (Chewy pistachio cookies, cupcakes, coffee cake) We usually visit a couple times a year, so we'll be sure to include a visit every time. We've been back twice already this week.

We ordered the MOST delicious whoopie pies and cupcakes from Farm 23 for our Wedding! Laura was so sweet and even went to our venue to deliver and assist with set up! Our guests were absolutely RAVING about the flavors and quality! Our only regret is we didn't get to try each flavor… looks like we’ll just have stop by the bakery next time we’re in town! 😉 🧁

Fantastic Pastries!! I love getting a breakfast croissant from here. The selections for treats is just amazing. They also have little gifts and often some fresh loaves of bread. Go check them out!

Breakfast croissant was wonderful. If we lived here we’d go over and over. Coffee and massive cinnamon roll also good, but if in doubt have a bacon egg and cheddar croissant.

Oh. My. Goodness. These folks are blessed with some god-like baking skills. I just ate the "still warm" sticky bun, the warm sausage/egg/cheese croissant and the bacon/egg/cheese croissant, along with the cheese danish and a berry scone (shared them all with my wife and kids) and I'm 100% blown away. Had to write this review. The sausage in the breakfast sandwich was insanely tasty and the mix of meat/croissant was perfect. The sticky bun was out-of-this-world. Perfection as far as I'm concerned. Not undercooked, but sooo dense, like a warm, sweet/cinamonny mouthful of the center of a popover. Dang.

We had a brownie with vanilla butter cream and a chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. We heard other customers in the shop heap praise on the pastries. Our takeaway is that your bakery is a gem. Just out of this world. And if I may, we noted a complaint online about a brownie with raspberry butter cream. I want one! Only a master pastry chef would undertake such deliciousness.

YUM! Homemade, fresh baked goods, good coffee, this place was a gem! I had the blueberry maple cinnamon roll, my husband had a bagel with jalapeño bacon cream cheese, and both were DELISH!

The BEST baked goods! Sea salt CC cookies, Footbridge brewery bread, and several “breakfast” pastries are my favorites. There are also limited but delicious breakfast and lunch foods, and lovely gifts and artwork. And to top it off, owners are lovely folks!

We stayed in East Boothbay and were looking for a place to grab coffee and we were headed to a chain since the prior mornings cup was a fail and as we drove by and saw and “OPEN” flag we decided to turn around!! What a wonderful place. HOT coffee... tasty breakfast sandwiches, scrumptious blueberry muffin and everything in the case looked amazing, I wish we found this on our way into our vacation not the way home!!

What a great find today. We were able to sample their wonderful cookies while visiting with Santa at the Boothbay train station. Great and different varieties including chocolate molasses, maple shortbread and a candy cane flavored cookie. All three were spot on. After leaving the train station we drove to the bakery. Wow! We bought a loaf of garlic, cheddar and herb bread. Again, WOW! Terrific flavor loaded with real garlic and lots of cheese. We will definitely be back.

Best bakery in the region. The food is amazing as are the owners/staff. Their cupcakes, cookies, breakfast goodies (muffins, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches) and other sweets are amazing. Their homemade breads and lunch items are delicious.

Enjoyed a delicious ham and cheese croissant and blueberry muffin this morning while on vacation in booth bay harbour. I’m not sure but think the bakery just opened. Love the subtl coating of sprinkled sugar on the muffin made it extra special and croissant was perfect!
