My first time here. Food was 10/10 perfect. Cooked just right, very fresh and tasty. The environment and atmosphere were superb, hospitality, warm, and welcoming. The fish tank was well maintained and I enjoyed watching all the fish swim around. The portions were huge and everything was very high quality, especially the toast I noticed. I will certainly be back again as rhetorical lunch and dinner menu (also breakfast) are vast. The pricing is higher, but it’s well worth it and fine since the overall experience is what I’ve delved for. Wish I did receive more salsa for my skillet though. So happy I came here!! I loved every bit of the experience! We were very pleasantly greeted too, everyone was happy and eager to make us feel like valued customers! :)

A hidden gem on the northern edge of Elwood. Good food and service in a friendly, inviting atmosphere. There are plenty of breakfast and lunch/dinner choices. Seating is available for small or larger groups. Individual seating available at the counter. Cash & credit accepted. Take out an option, too.

We're there for a funeral dinner and although a sollum occasion found everything was very good Food variety, serving staff was great. If you live close and haven't been there , make a point to go there.

Had a late afternoon funeral luncheon for my father there after services at Abe Lincoln. They have it down, delicious family style in a separate room, perfect!

Overall enjoy the restaurant. The night we were there it seemed cold but we discovered later that they had a door open between their building and an adjacent building.

We had the Eggs Benedict, very good. We also had an order of pancakes. They have the best pancakes we had in a very long time. The waitresses are very nice, very pleasant. We will definitely be back.

In these times of Pandemic Many Restaurants have lost there sense of customer service, with skimpy menus and and under staffed over privileged slackers. NOT THIS PLACE! The Menu was extensive with plenty of "WOW I never thought of that" options and your everyday classic options also. The staff was excellent and it felt like I warped back to the 90s when it comes to paying for what I want. So refreshing compared to the new norm of pay and get what they wanted to give you.

This is the banana split waffle, it's got actual ice cream on it, me and one of my nearest and dearest actually drove 35 minutes just to get this waffle and the French toast on the far side. It is so worth it! One of the best breakfast places you can find and all of it Illinois <3

Stopped in at noon on a Wednesday. It's was bustling. We were seated and our waitress Jenny stopped at our table for a drink order . After we had a few sips off our drinks she took our order. The the Skirt Steaks were cooked to perfection. The highlight was the Biscuits and Gravy. They get a 9 out 10 . The restaurant gets high marks across the board. ON POINT IN EVERY CATEGORY. We had an awesome waitress today, but I'm sad I forgot her name! Blond hair, in a bob type haircut. She was there around 12pm today.

Anyways, we love the food selection! Very unique items but always delicious. We come here each time we visit my dad at Lincoln Memorial Cemetary since we live far away. We make a day of it and this restaurant never disappoints!

My favorite local family diner. Big portions for the price. Hospitality and service is top tier. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Food was outstanding. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very very friendly and made it feel very family friendly. Would highly recommend the French onion soup! The chipotle chicken wrap had a hint of spice, but the nice thing is you could add more with the dressing that is served on the side. Lasagna was also very good too.

If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. We absolutely love this place. The staff, including Rose is something to brag about. And you must try the Pecan Pancakes and Parry Melt! Yummy!!!!!!

My wife's father is buried at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Veteran's Cemetery right up the road from Silver Dollar Restaurant. So whenever we go visit him we always stop in here to grab a quick bite to eat. Food is absolutely delicious and the servers are wonderful here. Prices are reasonable as well.
