As fresh as you can get! Great view of the harbor and where the ferry comes in. The lobster is so fresh and fantastic, all you need is the butter to go with it. The fish chowder is mouth watering with huge chunks of fish. If you’re waiting for the ferry to Swan’s Island, stop here.

When I tell you we came to Maine to hike and eat lobster, I need you to understand that all we did was hike… and eat lobster. Every. Single. Day. So when I say that this food truck lobster was cooked to perfection, please believe that I had 7 other lobsters to compare it to. We tried fine-dining, side-of-the-road huts, Bar Harbor recommendations, but this… this is my new “hole in the wall” recommendation for anyone traveling to Bass/Bar Harbor. Not only was the market price $5 less than the next lowest (the day we ate, it was $21 for the entire meal!!) it was superior in flavor! I don’t know what magic temperature and cook time combo these folks figured out, but if you’re going to eat a lobstah in Maine, you gotta make it Maine-ly Delights. We also got the coconut shrimp, very fresh, and the dipping sauce was amaze-balls.
We ordered to-go because it was poor weather and we wanted to eat with our pup, and even with takeaway, the lobster was phenomenal. Such a rarely to find quality like this with prices so agreeable. I wish I could give more stars!

A little gem during our trip in Acadia National Park! The lobster was so fresh and tasty! The best we had in the area! The homemade blueberry tart was amazing, warmed up and with vanilla ice cream! Nice view of the harbor from the deck! Definitely a place to visit if you are around!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. I had the haddock basket and my husband had the lobster roll. We couldn't decide which soup to split so we split both of them. Everything was delicious. The views of the harbor are excellent.

Love all the dishes! Inexpensive lobster, coconut shrimp, alcohol clam chowder. And the milk shake.
The paper straw is hard to use hh

A friend of mine suggested this place, and we went to check it out - completely clueless. We loved what we found! The tiny building/food trucks, perched on the top of a small hill, overlooks the water, with a gorgeous sunset if you can catch it at the right time.
Needless to say, the classic Maine food was quite good. My black raspberry milkshake (incredible) was the high point of the meal, but everything else was still amazing!
Walk down near the parking lot, you'll find a steep, rocky path leading down a beach. If you can get down the slope, try to stay for a bit at this patch of sand! There are plenty of rocks and beautiful views of the harbor.

The outside deck has fantastic views of Bass Harbor, the inside dining is cozy with a nice screened in section. I had a haddock burger that was flakely, moist and very delicious. The cheese burger was done to perfection and juicy! The dough boy was fantastic and a family favorite!!!!! Highly recommend, if you are in the area check out this sweet place by the Swans Island Ferry.

We ate here twice during a week while camping nearby. Food is cooked perfectly in a food truck and seating on the deck or inside is close by. We had fish chowder, lobster roll, and haddock fish and fries (twice) which were perfectly cooked and ready a short time after the order was placed!
And the view of Bass Harbor and Swans Island was the "icing on the cake" for a perfect dinner.

Karen and now her son have always made simply delicious food and served it with down home hospitality. It hasn't changed which in this case is perfect. A beautiful location overlooking Bass Harbor and the Swans Island Ferry terminal. There is always something going on in the harbor that is fun and interesting to see while you munch away on the excellent simple fare. It's a must visit place on the quiet side of MDI.

Ridiculously good. Went there for fried dough. Had a cup of fish chowder that was the best I've had on the island. Fried haddock could not have been more fresh. Unexpected great find... Super nice and easy service. Ate on deck.

Great Casual Summer Dinning at its best (pet friendly).
A wonderful ocean breeze from the front deck. We had two fish dinners with crispy fries, and a couple of sodas. The coleslaw, and tartar sauce seem homemade.
We ordered a beef hot dog for the fur child.
It was DELICIOUS!
We finished our meal off with a Doughboy that was topped off with fresh blueberries, ice cream, and chocolate sauce.
YUM!
