Norma's Restaurant

We stopped by Norma's on Sunday morning around 10AM and were promptly seated by the friendly hostess (Norma?). Our server quickly came to ask if we wanted coffee and juice.

The breakfast fare was simple - just like you would make at home. It was delicious, especially the homemade muffins that were toasted on the griddle. 😋

The service was excellent! Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area at breakfast time.

Well we got seated right away. The atmosphere was very folksy, kid friendly towny type. Can tell a lot of patrons are from local area, everyone seemed to know one another and history was being shared through conversations nearby. Reminds me of friendliness of Mel’s diner show from 70s and Friends cafe from Friends show but dated back to the 70s. A little dated but good was made to order and excellent. The food was local and fresh! Won’t disappoint! Also portions are normal sized. Not large portions but enough for one person to feel full.

We came all the way from Ohio after seeing a special on PBSs ‘Yankee Magazine’! We met Norma and she was such a kind lady! So many great stories. Our waitress was Cybill and she was amazing! We had omlettes and pancakes and the food was so good! It’s cash only but they have an ATM. I highly recommend this sweet little spot! 💖

We went for breakfast on a rainy Friday. It was a cozy little place. Good food. Good service. Good prices. I believe it's cash only. I took off a star for staff yelling at each other, the phone had been ringing and no one was answering it. I would return.

Probably one of the best overall brunch experience we ve had around the maine beach towns. The wait was quick and well organized. All servers there were nice and with big smile on. Menu is sooo reasonably priced. Like a third of cost in other brunch places in ogunquit. Home made muffin were so yum and fresh! There seemed to be more locals eating here than tourists. Overall eating here def starts your day with a positive note!

Stopped in after morning volleyball for a late breakfast. The food and service were excellent! I will be going again very soon.

We are locals and love to eat good food at a reasonable price. You will find this at Norma’s along with a friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. We highly recommend going there.

I had brunch with a friend from Maine. I am from Tennessee and had pancakes and bacon. Everything was great. I hope to be back again next time I am there!

Our server Cybill made our breakfast 😋 the best experience. The food in itself was great 👍. We will return every time we come to Maine. Just awesome honestly 👏 😎

No gluten free bread options.
The home fries weren't seasoned so if you have food sensitivity, get those. Perfectly poached eggs.

Reminds me of Grandma's cooking and hospitality. Very affordable and deeeelicious. Would recommend this place to anyone!! ENJOY!!

Great food at a great price and very quick service! We have been there twice on trips to York Beach and love it, although it's clearly a spot locals love as many patrons were immediately served their "regular"!

Every time we go to New Hampshire, Norma's is where we have breakfast!!! Eggs are always cooked perfect, toast, coffee delish!!!

Friendly waitstaff, good food, reasonable prices, clean and pleasant setting.
We noted that many of the patrons were regulars, as they were addressed by name and the waitstaff knew exactly what they wanted.
Initially, the portions seemed to be on the smaller side, but I was able to finish my meal without wasting food and I was plenty full!
We went on a Tuesday morning at 9:30am and we only saw one empty table when we sat down.
The ladies room is a one-seater… good for privacy, except your door opens to the backs of patrons sitting at the counter. Going in, I wondered if they would hear me tinkle 😉 coming out I realized that there was so much chatter going on that nobody could hear me even if they HAD paid any attention to that door.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good breakfast in the Kittery area.

Get up early and sit at the kitchen bar. Friendly staff and friendly locals. This place is a charm. They don't even mind new yorkers. Had a great time.

Great experience here today!! Food was fresh and staff was very friendly. Would recommend to anyone, waitress made us feel at home and like she knew us forever. For only having two waitresses on staff the speed of service was impressive all while being attentive to everyone
