Harbour Towne Inn on the Waterfront

I don’t even want to go home. I stayed for my birthday and had an amazing stay. The location is perfect. A short walk to the shops, restaurants and footbridge yet it’s peaceful and quiet where you’re staying. The food was so good. It shows that Stephanie puts thought and time into everything. The rooms are superbly clean. I noticed the thought taken into every little detail, right down to an extra blanket already in the room. Heat, AC, a fridge, a microwave, toiletries. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I’m already planning my next stay. Thank you so much for helping to make my birthday special

Is there a word that is better than AMAZING? That is the word that would cover our stay at Harbour Towne Inn with Stefanie as our host. The room was beautiful, kind service each and every day and a welcome to the area. We enjoyed walking around town, experiencing the local flavor and relaxing at the Inn. We highly recommend a stay at Harbour Towne Inn at ANY time of the year!

My husband and I had such a special stay this weekend!

The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. When we arrived we didn’t know where to go for dinner and they suggested a great Italian spot. The food and experience were both amazing.

After dinner we walked around a bit and found so many cute stores and a great ice cream shop which were all walking distance from the Inn.

We headed back to the inn and settled in our quiet cozy room where we had a great night sleep. When we woke up we got to step outside onto the balcony with a stunning water view and enjoy a cup of coffee while we waited for breakfast. We enjoyed a delightful homemade breakfast with frittata, home fries, pastry, yogurt, and fresh fruit.

We didn’t what to leave come checkout time! A HUGE thank you to Stephanie for making our first night away from our baby such and enjoyable one! We can’t wait to see you again soon! 😊

We stopped here for a night on the way to Bar Harbor. It is very lovely place. The owner was friendly and upgraded our room to water view and replied all questions we had. She also set up some cookies right after we arrived! The breakfast was delicious. It had some sort of veggie-meat egg casserole dish, roasted potatoes, bowl of fresh fruits, yogurt, granola and warm blueberry muffins! Along with toast, coffee and tea. The room has post cards of beautiful hotel with stamp on it and we were able to hand it over to owner to send it out for us. It is a historical house so if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs. Overall great stay and amazing host!

Harbour Towne Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to the Boothbay central hub. Outstanding service by all with nothing left undone and plenty of suggestions for a Maine experience. A world-class breakfast that includes many Maine flavors and a full array of delicious dishes. The rooms are comfortable and the deck is delightful. Great all around experience.

Great first experience at a B&B . The property was great and full of live beautiful plants indoor and out . Breakfast was top notch and the gentleman assistant helped my wife and I with our luggage due to a recent surgery. A+

There are times in life where you are praying that all the pieces of the puzzle will fit in nicely. I couldn't be more pleased with our stay at the Harbour Towne Inn on the waterfront in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The owner Stephanie went above and beyond to make our special weekend amazing.

We had booked the Penthouse Suite and it was absolutely perfect for my fiancé and I to unwind in before the big day, not to mention getting ready the day of our small intimate wedding.

From the moment you walk through the B&B's front door you get a wonderful feeling of belonging. Everything was just right, the ambiance, decor, little treats and tea/coffee. We instantly knew we had picked the most wonderful place to be to celebrate us!! We had our small family also book rooms and we were all very content.

If you are ever in the Boothbay Harbor area and want to capture a little piece of Maine in your heart, you need to stay here. I/We highly recommend.

The Harbour Towne Inn is a home away from home. The Inn is so comfortable with the most beautiful plants and flowers, clean and comfortable rooms, and great artwork. We enjoyed the views sitting outside on the deck or on the dock by the water. Stephanie was the most gracious host. Not only were her breakfasts amazing, she also made sure my partner had a special gluten-free dish each morning. She even made him gluten-free cookies as an afternoon snack. We can't wait to return.

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite for 5 nights, everything was better than expected. Plenty of space to relax, very comfortable king size bed along with a great harbor view from the balcony.
The rooms were very clean, with ample supplies in the kitchen - no need to even bring even a wine glass!
The Inn is pet free and no children which makes for a quiet environment. Books are available if you care to read. 2 big screen TVs. Free parking was a bonus.
My wife is an artist and Boothbay and area was a fantastic location to paint. Great food and restaurants within walking distance.
Stephanie was a wonderful host, serving delicious breakfasts every morning.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet only begin to describe this inn. We were made to feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible with a good variety each morning, and afternoon cookies were a nice yummy touch. The waterfront location in the heart of Boothbay Harbor makes it the perfect base camp to explore the shops, restaurants, tours and it's only a couple miles to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (a must see). We can't wait to return.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful! Harbour Towne Inn, is an amazing place to stay in Boothbay Harbor. It’s water front location has great views on the beautiful deck that has such pretty flowers. The garden in the front is colorful and so inviting. The rooms are always clean, spacious and give that coastal Maine ambiance! The owner, Stephanie, is such an amazing host! I will always recommend this inn!

This is the only place to stay In Boothbay Harbor! The breakfasts are amazing! Stephanie is the best hostess, rooms are cozy, clean and the grounds are kept up meticulously! We stayed a week and I can't say enough great things about this place!

Our stay at the Harbour Towne Inn was just what we needed. Right downtown! Everything was within walking distance. The Inn was clean and peaceful. The Host made us feel welcomed and answered all of our questions about the area. We enjoyed the breakfast that had something for every palette. For my girlfriends birthday weekend we wanted to do something new, so we decided to check out Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We ended staying at the Harbour Towne Inn. To say that our stay was excellent would be an understatement! Stephanie, the owner, made our stay memorable. First, she upgraded our room to room with a beautiful balcony and perfect space for two. Second, she gave my girlfriend wine glasses as a birthday gift. Lastly, she made amazing baked goods. The cookies and muffins were delicious! Without a doubt I would recommend staying at the Harbour Towne Inn!

Upon arrival Stephanie was very welcoming! Our room was beautifully clean! Plenty of towels, super comfy beds, cozy environment! Our view was beautiful. I was on vaca and slept in. My aunt who facilitated our trip rose early. She brought an amazing smelling full plate to our room which in turn happily woke me. After taking my time showering and packing up Stephanie enthusiastically served me an equally warm fragrant plate of HOME COOKED quiche, home fries, English muffin bread, and blueberry jam, along side a beautiful fresh fruit salad with creme fraiche that I could eat all day long! I will certainly be back.

We wanted to get away for a December weekend and we chose Boothbay Harbor because with the annual Boothbay Lights Festival, we knew there would be a cheerful atmosphere and things to see and do. The Harbor Towne Inn on the Waterfront could not have been more delightful!! It is such a cozy inn where we were made to feel at home in every way. Stephanie and James Paul were so welcoming and helpful, making sure we knew where to go for whatever we desired. In fact, I recommend calling when you book so that you have their helpful hints ahead of time as to getting any tickets or making reservations, and this way you will be assured of being able to go to wherever you want to in season.The room was charming and spotless, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. The Inn is well located and you can walk to most everything. We will be returning for sure!!

We have stayed here twice and both times we enjoyed it so much. The second stay we had our own table and 2 chairs on an upper balcony with gorgeous water views. Our room was spacious. Breakfast each morning is plentiful, home cooked and delicious. Stefani is so sweet and personable. The location is perfect to walk into town. Highly recommend.

What a lovely spot right on the water! The hosts couldn't have been more nice and accommodating. And the breakfast? That alone is a reason to stay here! This is a classic New England bed and breakfast: quaint, vintage, quiet and comfortable. As such, just be aware that it won't have some modern conveniences, so just be prepared to schlep your luggage up old stairs. Parking is also pretty tight. But if you want a true New England experience this is it!

What a wonderful bed and breakfast in a beautiful location. The staff was so helpful with dinner suggestions and the breakfast was outstanding! Our room was cozy and had a stunning view of the harbor, with a short walk to shops and restaurants. We already booked another stay for next summer!
