Union Bluff Hotel & Meeting House

Great hotel in York Maine. Very scenic with very nice views, especially sitting in the lawn chairs out front. Parking was ample when we visited but it was off season. Service was great and everyone was nice and friendly. Rooms are large (we got a double bed with sofa) and nicely equipped with amenities to make the trip easier. Getting around was easy. The bar is the best to place to eat and drink and service was awesome.

WOW!!! This hotel is an EXCELLENT EXCELLENT PLACE!!! My husband and I were gifted a night here in early May ( so it's the off season) when we arrived the desk clerk who checked us in, upgraded us to the 3rd floor corner room facing the ocean so we had a balcony plus 3 window view of the beach and ocean. For this midwest girl that was amazing! The food downstairs was good and the waitress and waitress in training were great! The location is perfect for walking to lots of little shops and the Beach Bliss Coffee shop! Will leave a review for them on Their own site but they deserve a shout out here too! All the locals we met were so kind and friendly! Definitely would boom and stay here again!
Oh and they still have actual for real keys for the rooms!!!

The room and view were perfect. Service, staff and food were fantastic. Do not hesitate to book a room. It was a wonderful trip. York / Cape Neddick is such beautiful area.

Darlene and the entire Union Bluff team were nothing but an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding on July 15, 2023. The team was so responsive, helpful, friendly, and really helped us every step of the way with advice and constant communication. We couldn't have asked for a better coordinating team. The venue itself is incredible, you can't beat being right on the water, the food and drinks were exactly what we were looking for, and our vision was able to come together perfectly for our big day. We were able to have just about all of our guests stay onsite at the hotel, and everyone was so happy with their rooms, as were our closest family members that stayed in the suites above the meetinghouse. We also had our rehearsal dinner onsite at the Grill, and Kim was so easy to work with, and easily able to accommodate our larger party the night before our big day. I am so thankful we chose Union Bluff and could not recommend it more!

My husband and I took trip to Yorkbeach for first time. We stumbled upon fabulous restaurant in the hotel. Views were fantastic and over looked the ocean. Servers were very polite and professional. Food was excellent! I had baked haddock and husband had burger and fries. Very relaxing with nice glass of wine. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for great experience

I don't think I'll ever stay anywhere else when I visit York Beach (and I try to every year)! The location is fantastic, the view is too awesome for words! Even though it's just a few steps away from the beach, the atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. Already booked my stay for 2024!

Definitely a nice place but our outside doors didn't lock on the deck doors.

Just got back from a night at UB with my 3 sisters and mom. We rented the deluxe king suite (ocean front). There was way more than enough room for all 5 of us. The room was magical. Breathtaking views from every spot. The room was super clean. We got dinner at the pub downstairs and all 5 of us agree that it was some of the best food we have ever had. Everything was perfect. Not enough great things to say about Union Bluff

Decided to get away for a weekend escape. Hotel was beautiful and loved the room with a deck! It was sub zero temperatures, but was able to sit for a bit on Sunday morning. I enjoyed sunrise and sunset and watching the tide. It was so peaceful! Not much open in York during the winter, but still worth it!
We stayed in room 209 had beautiful views and a large deck!

Very Nice Place to Stay on the Waters Edge, Great view from our room. The room was very clean as was the Hotel. The only disappointment is there was no Breakfast on Mondays or Tuesdays stay, not even Muffins ? or service would also have been a 5 star !

Beautiful views of the ocean. Safe and quiet location. Comfortable rooms. So much to see and do within walking distance. We liked the convenience of the restaurants in the hotel.

Location was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms could be brought more up to date and the A/C able to create a more comfortable environment. Old shower head and generally older.

Lovely coastal hotel in a great location. Grill & bar has a friendly atmosphere with great food. Serves a really nice breakfast from the a la carte menu

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight here. We needed to see the ocean and we couldn't have found a better place. Lunch at the bar. Snow and roaring ocean to go to sleep and a wonderful morning walk, with the sun coming out across the street on Short Sands Beach. Perfect
The staff, morning breakfast and quality of room will have us longing another visit.

I thoroughly loved this place. We needed peace and quiet and it was a great spot to visit. Great view and it was usually pretty quiet. The room was spacey and super clean with more towels and items than we needed. The staff is all super friendly. The continental breakfast is simple but enough to get by. The bar is great. The beach and scenic walks are close. No complaints whatsoever, and we were even there in the off season winter month of March. Will return for sure.

Had a wonderful three night stay last week. The hotel has a great location and beautiful setting right across the street from Short Sands beach. Our water view room was excellent, with a great deck for watching the ocean (despite the cool temps that week) and a very comfortable king bed. Staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive, especially Pam who worked mornings keeping the hot muffins coming at breakfast!

Spacious room with vanity & sink separate from shower/toilet, something I appreciate immensely. Comfortable bed & fluffy towels. Big windows & black-out shades & curtains. Complementary coffee & outdoor sitting area that cannot be outdone.

Exceptional hotel, staff is always friendly kind helpful. Rooms are beautiful. Whole atmosphere is top notch. The only place I will stay when in Maine 💕
