Grand View Hotel

10/10 would recommend. Especially for the price. The rooms look exactly like the pictures. Very clean. They had extra towels out on the bed. Perfect location. Can't beat waking up to the ocean outside your door. Big mini fridge. Beds/pillows were the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel. The lady's were all friendly. Smart TV I could connect my Netflix to. My 7yo loved it as well. My only complaints are that there was supposed to be a microwave and when we got there the room had no microwave, and I would feel safer if the old school locks were replaced with a card system. But this is definitely one of my new favorite hotels. I Especially loved how large the balcony is. You could easily do some morning yoga there. Loved it there and wish I didn't have to leave.

Excellent location directly across from a huge beach. Crosswalk to the beach is right by the hotel. High steps to go down to the beach so if you have a beach cart you have to lift it down the steps. View is fantastic. Good beach for the kids low tide they can look amoung the rocks for crabs. Sand is hard. Hotel room is basic no microwave but has a small fridge. Hotel does have an I door pool. Checking was a breeze ..staff friendly and helpful. No elevator so be prepared to haul your stuff up to your room. There are rooms on the ground floor.

We stayed in room 205. The room was clean, the bed was a little soft but comfy. Beautiful view of the beach. We slept with our balcony door open to hear the waves through the night. There was shampoo and conditioner along with clean towels. We enjoyed everything about this hotel. BTW. Parking is on site. Bring your own hair dryer would be my only recommendation.

Location is great. Rooms are clean. Staff was friendly. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Make sure you stock up to enjoy your day on the beach before you arrive.

Great place to stay at for vacation. Clean rooms and quick service from maintenance if there is a problem. There is a Super Great view of the ocean from the rooms also.

The Grand View does indeed have a very grand view from the second and third floors. The room was very clean and the shower had amazing water pressure. It is located on route 1a but the traffic during our stay was not bothersome at all. We heard none of it from inside our room. We found the location very convenient. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Had a really nice time staying here while passing through the area in the early summer. This place has a really cool retro feel to it, the price was really nice, and the view from the balcony of our room was something other hotels might try to charge 3x the nightly rate for. This place is 1970-80's retro, so don't expect all kinds of modern amenities. But if you are looking to spend a night along the coast in southern Maine, look no further! The wife and myself loved it here!

Michael and Grace were very nice and accommodating. Booked last minute and was so happy that we stayed at the Grand View!! Family friendly amazing views and an indoor pool was the topper. Thanks Michael and grace.

Great location, beautiful view, and within walking distance of most York attractions. Room was clean and we'll kept. Shower has great water pressure. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here 4yrs ago and loved it! I am working in RI now and cannot wait to visit again. Management was super nice! Rooms are spacious. Views are awesome! The perfect place!

Great place to see the sun rise but if I were you I'd get up an hour before the actual sunrise the colors are so vibrant. You can watch the tides roll in and out it's majestic. No on site eatery but some within walking distance of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this place

What a beautiful location. Room with porch overlooking the ocean and clear view to the nearby Cape nettick aka nubble light. Proprietors warm and welcoming and an ice maker on site for in room cocktails. Screaming fast wifi so even though I was away I could connect. Parking is a breeze and a very well situated location.

The room was a bit dated, but very close to everything, awesome view of the water, we were in a section that had a private balcony which was great, and the HEATED INDOOR POOL was a huge bonus!!! We will stay here again for sure!

Love the balcony to just leave open or sit and listen to waves for hours/all nite!

The room was small and dated. However it was clean and comfortable and the view is breathtaking. As far as I am concerned it is the only hotel on the beach with staying at!!!!!

The Grand View was awesome I'm def going back again beautiful view rooms nice and cleaned and very nice employees I 100 percent recomend going here and the have balconys facing the ocean beautiful view u can hear the waves at night and it's very peaceful and quiet

The view is really grand! The motel is located directly on the main street and the beach (if it is there). We had a great time.
