Appetizzio's Italian deli

I had to order last minute for my daughter's St. Marys high school teachers appreciation week. The owner was amazing. Not only did he take my huge order last minute...he delivered it in time for lunch for the teachers and staff!!! They loved it. Fresh and delicious....the turkey and provolone ...and Spicy Italian were a crowd pleaser!!! Will definitely order again...and highly recommend 👌 👍 😀

I used to work in the area over 10 years ago and was in the area and stopped by for a sandwich. The food is still great, fresh and very tasty! Service and people are lovely and very welcoming.

Best sandwiches in the area, which probably puts it in the running for best sandwiches nationwide. Homemade mozzarella is delicious. So glad I work nearby and found this place.

I can't say enough good things about this Deli. I work in the area and have the privilege of eating here on average once a week. This place is the definition of consistency and from the second I walked in they have treated me like a regular. The food quality and quantity is unbelievable for the price. If you live in the area and have not stopped by yet do yourself a favor and place an order today. You will not regret it.

Just stopped in while visiting NJ. No idea how much I appreciate a good Italian deli, living in SC is tough. The guys working inside ( maybe owners) were super nice. Food was great. Fresh mozzarella and chicken cutlet made in house. Fabulous!

I've know John for over 20 years and I've been going to Appetizzios for a long time. Even though I moved down to central jersey, I always go to this deli when i'm in the area. This has to be one of the best delis in NJ. Phenomenal sandwiches. I've never had a bad one there!

My wife and I went there for the first time on Saturday! Friendly staff who made two AMAZING heros! I highly recommend!

The #7 (eggplant, red pepper, mozzarella) is pure genius. Worth a detour! We are blessed to live in NJ. I should probably try something else but how can I resist the #7??

There's not a review nice enough that I could write for this business and their employees. I've been coming to Appetizzio's for the past 17 years. That alone should speak for itself! They just have the absolute best employees, the most delicious food, and is just an all-around amazing deli. They will always have me as a loyal customer, and everyone in the area NEEDS to try this place out and see for themselves.

I ordered a garden salad with Tuna fish, and I must say, this is the best prepared tuna fish I've tasted in a long time. Also every vegetable is fresh and full of flavor.

The customer service couldn’t be any better. They bend over backwards to serve you and with pleasure. Generosity and enthusiasm is always on display here and the food is top-notch, including the bread they source from Hoboken (smart move!). My only gripe would be the prices but my God everything is so fresh and high-quality it’s pretty much justified. Maybe the sodas and chips could come down a bit. That said, this place is aces!!!

If I could give a million stars I would first time ordering from here not only are the staff welcoming and extremely nice the food is great I ordered a pan of lasagna and boy am I pleased finger licking good, flavorful is an understatement and price was reasonable for 10 people will definitely be coming back to try more! Thank you!!!!!!!!

Appetizio's is my source for all things Italian. Fresh mozzarella, all kinds of ravioli, provolone, sundried tomatoes, Italian bread, Genoa salami and soppressata are my almostly weekly purchases.
But Johnny and Franky provide friendly service along with specialties that Johnny creates. Chicken cutlets, sausage and peppers, red, green, black and stuffed olives are great. But my favorite purchase is when Johnny makes rice balls. OMG, he is so inventive. They are magical.
They have authentic imported foods like pasta, roasted peppers, caponata, breadsticks and cookies too. But you can just go there for their sandwiches which are stuffed and made with care.
They make platters for special occasions and 3 or 6 foot huge sandwiches.
You will not be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit with Johnny or Franky. When you get home you will thank them.

Love this place! The owners are great guys and food is DELICIOUS! Great little spot in a convenient location!
