Grover's Hardware

Essential spot in harbor town if you need something for your rental or cabin. Came here for light bulbs, shower curtain and some other essentials and they had everything. Every employee will ask you if you need help, so it's a great vibe. With the big box stores more than 45 minutes away, this spot is an essential business for the harbor town. Prices feel a little high but it's worth it for the service and the convenience of not having to drive miles away. Happy to see this kind of place still exists!

Good place to get all of your "hardware" things.

Grover's Hardware in Boothbay, Maine is the Chuck Norris of hardware stores - small but mighty! Need a hammer that can knock out a T-Rex? They've got it! The staff is like a comedic dream team, providing expert advice and laughter therapy with every purchase. Don't be surprised if you leave with more tools and jokes than you bargained for!

Best damn Hardware store in Maine. They do things the "hardware way". Great owners,even better staff. If they don't have it then nobody makes it !

Great customer service. Almost as soon as you walk in, someone asks if you need help finding anything. For a small hardware store, they carry a lot. I'm always surprised by what they have in stock.

I think that Grover’s is the best example I can think of when I think of the joy of returning to Boothbay each season. This small town hardware store is well stocked with both hardware supplies of all shapes and sizes and helpful employees. Regardless of the time of day or the “emergency” situation I’ve found myself a part of they are always friendly, efficient and very helpful. As one who owned a hardware store years ago, I can say first hand that Grover’s is top shelf!!

I went in looking for a window screen at the end of the season thinking they wouldn't have one,and they did! The gentleman was so helpful showed me where they were, asked what size and because they are way up top got me the one I needed. So nice.

Grover's reminds me of the hardware store that my Dad would take us four boys to back in the 1960s. I LOVE GROVER'S!! I can honestly say that I have never been in the store that they didn't have what I was looking for or, better yet, an employee showed me an an alternative product that was MUCH better. I am 62 years old and I so hope that Grovers is in Boothbay Harbor for decades to come. It's that good. Off to Grovers now.

This company has always been great ! They have everything you need ! The customer service here is outstanding , very appreciative and helpful ,very kind and inviting.

This is my lucky hardware store. I live in Massachusetts but keep a sailboat at nearby Southport Island. Whenever I need that special fitting or piece of hardware, I nearly always seem to find it at Grover's. With the help of the staff, more than a few mini crises in the summer have been solved.

A sign in the store says it all ..." If we don't have it you don't need it " they will have it and be able to show you how to use it.

They are so helpful, finding things for you, answering questions and offering advice if you ask. Amazing service, great selection, friendly.

The best hardware store! Very helpful staff. If you need something to fix a maintenance issue, they have it and even give you tips on fixing the problem.
