We have dined at Mimmo's for over 30 years! Guess we love this Italian restaurant! Great menu selection offering generous portions of Chef Mimmo's original recipes. We look forward to our annual visit next year. Wishing the staff all the best!

One owner restaurant on Long Sands, York, since the early 1980's. Nice assortment of Italian dishes. Great sauce and perfect portions. Staff are super friendly and take time with you.

The food here is soooo good! Authentic & homemade dishes. I've been here a number of times with my family and we have never had a meal that we didn't love. The atmosphere is beautiful as well, it's so clean and comfy, with a beautiful view of the ocean (long sands beach). The service has always been wonderful, such friendly caring staff! I'm gluten free and they have gluten free pasta with a number of different homemade sauces I can eat! I love this place!

An absolutely lovely family run Italian restaurant in York, Maine. The food was so delicious and lovingly prepared and served. The garlic bread crispy and chewy and delicious. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent. Try their homemade lemonade!
It’s BYOB but at the end of the meal they give you an after dinner drink of either Anisette or Amaretto, such a nice touch!

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in the US. Everything is handcrafted from scratch. Although they don't hustle you out as most restaurants do, this restaurant is similar to one I visited in Italy in that regard, you sit and enjoy your dinner with friends or family. Since it has lovely décor and even though it may not be fancy, the food and service here are greater than they would be at other restaurants, as is the expectation of most customers. I'll always come back here while I'm in York. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get a nice dinner.

Clean, bright and cheerful. Fair prices considering the great food and service. Our waitress was a sweetie. Even though they were busy, the wait was not at all unreasonable. Recommended!

What a wonderful place to experience. It was absolutely delightful. The food is authentic and delicious. The people there are some of the finest and kindest people you'll ever meet. Diana and Dana made us feel at home. Thank you again. Next summer can't come sooner.

My family has been staying in York for the past five summers and we have always been intrigued by Mimmo’s. Last week we made our first trip there and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and our server Dana could not have been more kind and friendly - she crushed it! The atmosphere is casual and the BYOB factor made it fun! Everything from the garlic bread and salad, to the mussels and caprese salad/pesto app, to our array of entrees - chicken parm, veal parm, eggplant parm, chicken marsala, seafood fra diavolo - was excellent. We are looking forward to going back next summer!

When going to Mimmo's plan to make a reservation ahead of time. As well as gring your own wine, bear for they don't have a liquor license. Food was fabulous and service slow like we like! 💯

Great food and incredibly friendly service. Atmosphere was comfortable, like being invited into their home. Some of the best garlic bread you could hope for. Complimentary amaretto and anisette at the end of the meal was a nice touch.

This place made our vacation. We went two nights in a row, it was so great. The most beautiful view outside with a delicious menu. There were 4 of us, we each ordered a different meal both
nights- 8 delicious meals!... Wish we could dine again..but we're heading home tomorrow.

An annual must visit for many York Vacationers. This Family run BYOB Italian restaurant is a little piece of heaven. The food is excellent, the atmosphere a little retro and relaxing.

Mimmo’s is our go to place when we visit York beach. The Italian food is authentic and delicious! We have been here countless times and it still does not disappoint. We are Thankful to the hardworking, dedicated workers at Mimmo’s.

Visited about 3 weeks ago now and have shared my experience with anyone mentioning visiting the area...absolutely wonderful! Italian food, great atmosphere and most importantly, outstanding service for a beach side restaurant! Not a complaint from any of our party of 8. I recommend highly to those who love to smile & laugh as well as relax after a great day of sun, sand and surf. I know 8 of us who will be back for certain! Thank u for the hospitality!

Unbelievable!!!! I had the cheese ravioli with marinara and it was absolutely delicious. I personally want to thank the owners and staff for such amazing dinner. Thank you so much. I've been to Rome, Italy and thought this was as good or even better.

Go every Labor Day weekend while on vacation. Portions are huge and feed us long after the vacation is over. Restaurant reminds me of family dinners at home. Took a friend this year and she enjoyed it as much as we do. Thank you!

Me and my wife have come here many times and it is the best Italian food any were not just in Maine but any place I have been great food great people that work there if you are in long shores York Maine you will not regret it how can you beat fresh homemade food by people that take pride in what they make
