Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern

We would seriously eat here daily if I had the funds. Best French onion ever. Best blackened salmon salad ever. The pizza is mmmmm. They even have the good ice cubes! It pleases my whole family - which includes two picky kids.

Love this place! We always sit at the bar because the main bartender there is amazing. She is on her A game always. The beef stroganoff is absolutely delicious.

This is a great restaurant hands down one of the best I've been to in a short while. The only thing I would have to say bad is the prices are a little bit high but that's happening everywhere right now so.. we ordered the El Cubano sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich both of which were amazing. For the price you do get a hefty sandwich so it kind of balances out in a way. I mean the chicken breast on the buffalo chicken sandwich alone was gigantic and super delicious. Wasn't sure how it was going to be because with buffalo chicken you can get something they just dipped in Buffalo sauce or actually spent some time and put the flavor in the batter and that's what they did. Spectacular sandwich. Same with the El Cubano, great sandwich! We were really feeling like Buffalo sauce that night and we got the buffalo cauliflower which also blew us away and was talking to the server about how they make it so we can do it at home in the air fryer. The drinks were delicious they had hop slam on tap! We got an old fashioned that was made really well and besides having to wait for them to go get orange juice from the drugstore next door the tequila sunrise was delicious also. The service was great not too much not too little. The server was very friendly and sociable. The atmosphere is nice they have a fireplace you can see behind to the server station when you first walk in and on the other side of the server station. The bathrooms were clean. They had a good amount of beers on tap also to choose from. It's nice because they don't have a giant menu which is really good they keep it limited so that what they do make is spectacular. I don't doubt everything on their menu is great. Definitely going to go back we when we are out that way again.

Everyone in here will treat you like family. The vibes are absolutely immaculate- nothing but fun and positive energy. Nobody takes themselves to seriously. You get a phenomenal meal with a side of comedy. Can't remember the last time my servers genuinely made me laugh so hard. I'm telling y'all, if you want to treat yourself to a night out, COME HERE!! RUN!! CRAWL!! SLITHER IF YOU MUST!! but whatever you do, don't miss out! Ask for Mya or Victoria, both certifiable baddies with outstanding personalities and exceptional service skills!!

If I could give 10000000 stars I would. Victoria was my server and she was like something out of a fairytale- just walk in and look for the server who looks like a literal Disney princess. Every smile she gave us was radiant, and every laugh we shared was genuine. She treated me like family rather than as a stranger. Her service was right on- I had refills before I could think to ask. Food arrived expeditiously and flavors were robust. If you want to have a fun night out and receive exceptional service in the process, ask for her!! You won't regret it, she's certainly made an ecstatic regular out of me 😊😊

We came here just for the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich! And it is MOST definitely in the Top 5 best Chicken Sandwiches in Metro Detroit. We did order it without blue cheese and we added coleslaw to the actual sandwich (highly recommended), as pictured in the photos. The sandwich comes with a lot of chicken and its cooked to perfection.

Even with the Dream Cruise going on, the service kept up and we didn't have to wait long for our food. And the food was surprisingly good. It was our first time, won't be our last.

Our trips to Rusty Bucket usually don't disappoint. Food is always hot, fresh, and delicious! Some dishes I can specifically brag on are the fried pickles, blanket nachos, cheese steak, Cubano, and beef stroganoff. My husband favors their meatloaf and chicken parm. My girls usually smash the double stack quesadilla or kids spaghetti. The biggest flex is that their chicken tenders are some of the juiciest I've ever had and are battered and fried to utter perfection! Our service is always super friendly, speedy, and accommodating if something goes awry. Decent selection of beers on tap, but nothing crazy. I enjoy the fun variety of cocktails too, specifically the Sun Comes Up In Mexico and the Spicy Bloody Mary. Definitely recommend.

Super fun place right off Woodward. Their brunch is really good and I highly recommend trying it. I could eat like 5 orders of their cinnamon sugar donuts by myself!! When we first got there though, it was like 20 mins before anyone waited on us. When the staff finally realized it they were very apologetic and totally made up for it. I'd definitely come back to try their lunch/dinner menu!

Solid bar food at a fair price. Pretty good vibes at lunch and happy hour. I'm now a regular customer. The Cuban rules.

I have been to Rusty Bucket many time in different locations. This last time we walked in and asked for a booth for 2. While waiting to be seated I chatted with the hostess Stephanie. I asked how she was doing this evening.

She said “fine thank you, how about you?”

“I will be a lot better in a few minutes. Looking forward to some fried pickles.”

“Gross,” she said and continued on a diatribe about how long she had been working there and have always found this dish to be “gross.”

If you have been a hostess for so long Stephanie, how could you think that insulting the business you work for is a good idea? You get double points for also insulting the customer for their “gross” choice of food.

We were then told that there were no booths available and were seated at a table. FYI there were multiple booths available. We asked our server Hannah if we could move to a booth. She moved us right away. LET ME BE CLEAR… Hannah (I hope I have her name right) was lovely, funny and accommodating. She provided amazing service. Had it not been for her, this meal would have been a massive bust. Thank you Hannah… we will be back because of you.

Sorry for my terrible taste in food Stephanie. Perhaps if you spent a tad more time being a wonderful hostess and less time flirting with the hot waiter and incessantly twirling your hair, this review might not have ever been written.

Service was nice and prompt. Our food came out rather quickly and we were both pleased with our choices. Best part we were enjoying the BOGO offer as well as a Christmas gift card we received.

First time diner, now long term guest. The menu isn't overdone and it's easy to navigate. They have an awesome selection of crafts beers and the atmosphere is exactly what I'm looking for when dining! I highly recommend their hand dipped and battered deep fried pickle spears and the French onion soup! They were top notch!

We went for Happy hour. All appetizers are 1/2 off. I had the quesadilla and it was delicious. My husband had the Nachos. We were not a fan of the nacho cheese sauce on it. We would have preferred a real cheddar cheese. Our service was great. Brandon was attentive and friendly. We will be back just not for the nachos.

Tried fish tacos for the first time, they were excellent! Darlene was our server. Excellent job! Try the fried pickles or the bbq chicken salad also!

Good restaurant with good ambience and good food. The service could be better, we had to wait for quite sometime to get our order in even though the restaurant was pretty empty.

Brent and Kelly were great, the atmosphere was friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious, prompt and correct. Drinks were cold and awesome. Definitely will be back.
