Russell House Bed & Breakfast

Great experience here. It was a rainy few days in Maine but just so glad we were in a cozy and clean, and I mean clean place. I am super picky about cleanliness and the room was spotless. Cozy gas fireplace in our room. Loved the option to go to dining area to get filtered water, coffee, or wine glasses for our room. Our room had a great mini fridge and a counter top to prepare food or drink. One small suggestion - would've love just one chair in the bedroom to sit on. Other than that, it was excellent!

We just arrived back home after staying four nights at the Russell House. What a great experience! Our bed was like a cloud for sleeping and the entire suite we had was comfortable. Breakfasts were fantastic and a great way to start our day. Staff was friendly and accommodating. If I ever in Maine again, I will definitely stay at Russell House.

Beautiful, like-new, accommodations. Easy check in. Felt very safe and private which was great because my husband and I stayed in one room and our teenage daughters were in another. Breakfast was delicious and service was impeccable. Quick, easy drive into Boothbay Harbor. Very comfortable beds and amazing bathroom.

We had a wonderful time at The Russell House B&B! Such friendly people, fantastic food, terrific service, we just can't say enough good about the Russell House! On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, we give the RH an over all rating of a 10 in all categories. We have spread the word to friends and will definitely book a future stay. Kudos to the entire RH staff!

We stayed at the Russell House while visiting the lights at the botanical gardens, it was immaculately cleaned and had great no contact options for check in. The room was awesome and had freshly baked cookies!

Breakfast was good, the only downside was that you weren’t able to choose your meal.

We will definitely stay here again!

Russell House was very comfortable and clean. The baked goods for breakfast were excellent and we received some great activity recommendations from the innkeeper which kept us busy all trip. The Boothbay Harbor area has great ocean views, interesting coastal hikes, and plenty of cozy stores and restaurants. Will definitely be back!

The Russell House is a gorgeous bed and breakfast escape in Boothbay Harbor! I was blown away by the outdoor deck, trendy wallpaper and the beautiful design of the first level. There is a relaxing sitting room with a fire just off the spacious dining room where they serve breakfast in the morning. The individual rooms have a cozy, New England charm with their nautical bed spreads and decor. But this is no ordinary Maine B&B, the bathrooms are totally luxurious! With glass showers, marble pattern countertops and soaking tubs. If you are looking for a romantic weekend getaway, I would definitely recommend the Russell House!

This is the best bed & breakfast . Nancy made breakfast and was an absolute delight. I can't wait for breakfast tomorrow. The rooms are fantastic modern clean warm and cozy. They leave us a key for access to the kitchen with endless homemade chocolate chip cookies and sleepytime tea. We are already planning our next trip and letting our parents in on this hidden gem.

Russell House was amazing! Very clean, friendly people, and when we had a mishap with a double booking, they were very understanding and helped us get our money back from Airbnb. When were uncomfortable having breakfast in the dining room due to COVID, they were accommodating and helped us bring the delicious food to our room. I highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in September. Everything was perfect! Immaculately clean! Breakfasts were delicious! Nancy was great! Would stay here again if I ever get back to Boothbsy Harbor! Oh and I forgot to mention the wonderful front porch! Stay here! You won’t regret a thing!!!!

My husband came up for the Gardens Aglow and stayed for the night. We cannot say enough positive things!! Superbly clean, comfortable and cozy. Nancy we so welcoming and the location was perfect to the Gardens and downtown. We will certainly be recommending The Russell House.

We had a great stay. The inn keeper was friendly and professional. The inn was immaculate. Our room was a good size. The furniture was very comfortable. The breakfast was perfectly packaged in a brown bag with a nice note.

A wonderful place to stay, perfect at every turn! The whole place was beautiful, clean and smelled wonderful. The bedroom was gorgeous and the bed so comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious and everyone was so kind. A perfect place to sneak away for the weekend. Highly recommend.

Beautiful newly renovated B & B. The staff was delightful and extremely helpful with both technical and sightseeing issues. Caroline was a joy to deal with and breakfast was delicious! Location was perfect-would ABSOLUTELY return.

Beautifully remodeled B&B and the room and general areas were immaculate. Close proximity to downtown Boothbay. The breakfast was gourmet and delicious too!

My husband and I stay here every Christmas season and adore it! From the impeccable rooms to the warm hospitality of the innkeepers, this is a gem in the heart of mid coast Maine. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great place to stay, staff was fantastic, room was clean and very comfortable, and Nancy outdid herself with excellent breakfasts in the morning and homemade cookies that were available all day long.
