Union Bluff Grill & Pub

We always refer to the Bluff as our “old favorite” back when Jim & I used to run away up here.
It still feel like Home 15 years later! Mouth watering food, familiar faces make this one of our beloved off season places.

A great weekend on our first visit to Union Bluff Hotel! Every staff member was courteous, the room was very clean, and the food was very good! Try the burger. So good. Despite the pouring rain and snow, my daughter and I had a pleasant stay and will definitely be back. Lucien Harton certainly does a wonderful job with the staff and running the show. Thanks again!

I rarely write reviews, but yesterday's experience was absolutely perfect! Our waitress, Pam, was incredibly sweet and attentive. She showered our 9-month-old son with love and compliments throughout our meal, which made our experience even more special. The food was impeccable; from the calamari to the clam chowder and fried fish, each dish surpassed the last. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. Five stars all the way!

Came here for lunch. Most restaurants in York, ME are poorly reviewed. This one is the best. Tried several others which were either terrible, overpriced, or a combo of both.. This one is the best in the short sands area within walking distance to the beach. Our waitress Julia was attentive, efficient, and top notch. Food delicious and prices reasonable. There are about 5 outdoor tables and indoor seating as well. Highly recommend.

Simply the best place to be, in soo many ways, just so glad to be back after five years and it still has the same Kind of Magic about it😊🥰🏨🌅👍👍👍

Stopped on a Wednesday for lunch. They were only seating outside which was fine for us. Nice tree covered patio. Super friendly hostess and wait staff. Had calamari to start and their standard lobster(salad) roll. I usually ask for hot buttered but decided to try the house version. It was good with not too much mayo. Would definitely come back.

At the Union Hotel in York Maine you have a choice of two restaurants, the pub or the union grill. The pub has, as expected, nice sandwiches, burgers, and beers. Enjoy a pub-style lunch or dinner and watch sports on their various screens.

The union grill is a gastronomic experience. The talented chef Darren creates beautiful provincial style dishes-- picture foods from Alsace, Provence, Brittany. The wine selection is varied enough, so as to make proper pairing with your dinner.

Also, there is a bar in the union grill restaurant. Sit there to feel the warmth of the large fireplace and enjoy a meal and drink. Try their infused vodka which changes periodically. Our favorite were the fig infused and blueberry infused vodkas. The bartender, Karen, is excellent and you'll enjoy any drink you order.

The Clam chowder here was the best overall. It’s a little down home bar Lotsa beer on tap plenty of TVs to view football. Warm and friendly right on the coast easy to get to and free parking.

Everything you want from a pub. Great drink menu with fun and seasonal options, along with traditional draft and full bar. Food was spectacular for cost and traditional pub fair. Will totally come back anytime we're in York.

We are from Washington State. Their lobster rolls with everything that we wanted. They were amazing. The seat by the ocean was not bad at all
either.

Had made a quick night trip to the Nubble lighthouse. We were intending to visit a different restaurant in the area; however, they were closed for the season. Thankfully we noticed this place was open and decided to go. Super friendly service. Food service was quick. The food was excellent. So glad we got to try them out. Definitely recommend.

Bartender was just amazing as well as lunch omg 😲 😍 Family loved it as usual ❤ Great meal 😋 and stunning views!!!

Generous portions, fresh ingredients, perfect cocktails and Sara! Sara was our server and she demonstrated the ability to hustle, smile and be attentive in an extremely busy establishment. Always a delight!

Our dinner at Union Bluff was wonderful! We walked in with a large party and the staff was so welcoming and wonderful. Sarah was our waitress and she was so professional, attentive, and all around awesome! Ethan was our host and he was also so great. Great experience all around

Tomato and basil sandwich and longsands burger - both were delicious. Asparagus was cooked to perfection: not too crunchy and not limp. Loved every bite!

The food is fantastic!!! Eight years in a row and it has never disappointed! It's only gotten better!!!

Great spot right by Short Sands with a beautiful view. The fried chicken and fish tacos are great choices!

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service. The food was elevated, not the regular hotel fare you’d expect. I would definitely try the wings, really any of the seafood options, and ask about the specials. The staff was friendly and attentive, truly appreciative of our patronage.
