Sand Dollar Bar & Grille

This bar was awesome. We stayed nearby and this was two buildings down. The piano entertainment each night was awesome. The games area is big and had lots of variety. Service was great. Just a fun place. Didn't eat anything but I'm sure it's good.

What a fun place and great location! After an amazing day on short sands beach this was the perfect place to end the day! Great food! Loved the lobster Cobb salad! And the drinks were a nice way to cool off (should have ordered the bucket though)! Can’t wait for the next visit.

Good little restaurant in a great location with outdoor seating. I got the lobster cob sale with the house dressing (a herby Caesar) which was delicious, better than expected. The salad came with around 4 oz of lobster, which was plenty given how hearty a cob sale is. My husband got the ahi tuna sandwich, which he liked. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, prices were reasonable. Would recommend!

By far the most unique place to go to in York. Very conveniently located right downtown with a great view of all the shops especially at night. I have been here a number of times now and is our favorite spot to go to for an adults only night out. The piano bar and outdoor deck are something no other location in York has. Very nice looking place on the inside too with Pool Table, shuffleboard etc.. The food has also never been an issue and they make a surprisingly good brick oven pizza. I would definetly recommend giving them a try!

Best food we had on our whole vacation. We ordered the nachos for an app which were good. Then the two kids split a margherita pizza which they ate the whole thing and said they loved it. Wife and I split the lobster Cobb salad and the salmon with rice. Both were incredibly fresh and delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. We are definitely coming back next year. The waitress was very nice and helped us picked stuff out on the menu. The vibe was nice with good music playing and sitting outside was pleasant.

My wife and I hosted our wedding welcome party at the Sand Dollar and had an exceptional experience. Colby and his crew accommodated a group of 40+ of us during their regular dinner service. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. Family and friends still talk about memories that they made at the sand dollar and request that we return there for drinks when they are in town. Would highly recommend hosting your event here.

Sand Dollar is excellent! The menu is crowd-pleasing, even for picky eaters, and the food quality is top-notch. Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Read a complaint from a customer that recently wrote a review. The response from the owner had me in stitches lol! A good sense of humor makes everything taste better! Now I have to try the seafood chowder here!

We came for the piano bar and were very pleasantly surprised (especially after a less than great experience at the Front Porch.) Great piano player and a really happy crowd. We will be back!

Ended up meeting up here the night before our wedding and it was the perfect place! We had more people come than originally anticipated and the staff were still so accommodating. The drinks were good and made quickly even on a busy Friday night. The piano/karaoke was awesome. Thank you sand dollar for being such a great vibe!

Had a blast. The Sand Dollar itself has a special meaning to my sister & I. No disappointment here!!! I'm visiting from California & have been dying to try this place. Great atmosphere. Love the furniture. Everyone was super friendly & fun.

Actually ate here 2 nights in a row last weekend. Great view, great food. The lobster Cobb is outstanding and the fried haddock sandwich was tasty as well. Friendly efficient staff, highly recommend!

Okay went in with little idea of what was going to greet us and was amazed at how good this place is! Thank you Isabel you were a fantastic server and made the evening fun. Good menu, excellent choice of drinks and a real buzz about the place. Like the industrial chic and the layout of the restaurant and bar. If you want a great night out make your way here!

We had a great dinner and cocktails experience here. The balcony is spacious and the outside band a real bonus. Also highly recommend when the piano is in session. A real hit

We had an absolutely lovely evening at the Sand Dollar! I hadn’t been here in years. We were greeted and checked on by the hostess (manager) Kathy. We had a beautiful table overlooking the ocean, our drinks were amazing and food was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Got the lobster ravioli and lobster salad the lobster was very good and soft. Not cooked too much and the food was fresh and the veggies! Waitor was nice and professional. Sat outside no complaints it was very busy when we left inside and outside.

Being celiac and traveling is very challenging. My husband and I have been to several places to eat over the past several days, and the Sand Dollar Bar&Grill is the first place that seemed to really care and understand the health issues and were informed on cross contamination & gluten intolerance/celiac. The waitress&cook were very informed &attentive and the food was excellent!!!
