Ann Arbor Smiles - Pediatric Golfside

I can not say enough good things about this office, the staff and Dr. Heather. We actually were at an oral surgeon who referred us to her in an emergency situation. Dr. Heather got us in that day to give my 6 year old a full exam. Not only did she fit him in (the office was super busy) but she spent at least an hour with us, explaining everything, and taking the time to make sure my son and I were comfortable with the exam and his future dental plan. He has always been scared of going to the dentist (so much so that he hadn't ever had thorough exam) and Dr. Heather and the team was SO good with him. I couldn't believe that not only did he get an exam but there were barely any tears. Dr. Heather not only let me stay in the room with him, but let me be be close enough to hold my sons hand, I swear I was practically on top of her and I know I was completely in the way and she didn't even mention it and was fine with whatever we needed to do to keep my son comfortable. I am honestly so thankful for this office. We have been there a few times since our initial appointment and have continued to have good experiences.

My son's review is that he would like a few more tokens throughout his appointment to get prizes because clearly that is his favorite part. :)

I would recommend Dr. Heather to anyone who needs a good pediatric dentist.

I've been a patient at Ann Arbor Smiles most of my life and it's always been a positive and enjoyable experience. A recent visit to the Pediatric location with my daughter was no different. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and easy to work with. The office is exceptionally clean and has some little added touches (chalk wall, coffee bar, bottled water, etc.) to make the experience that much better for kids and their parents. The hygienists and dentists communicate clearly, with me and my daughter, and they provide excellent care. Like me, my daughter will most likely be a lifelong Smiles patient.

I am so grateful for the excellent care we received for my child who is usually very anxious during dental visits. Dr Hoffman took her time explaining the procedure, showing my child the tools, and answering all their questions. Dr Hoffman showed empathy, patience and excellent care throughout our visit. The other staff were equally knowledgeable and friendly. We are happy to finally have found an excellent pediatric dentist in our area.

Dr. Hoffman has been great with my daughter. She needed a lot of work done over several appointments. Dr. Hoffman was very gentle and patient. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Dr. Heather and Kailey were amazing! All the explanation of the process was outstanding. My son can get very nervous but he did amazing! They explained everything so well he felt pretty comfortable. Thank you AA Smiles!

Our hygienist Emily, and Dr Hoffman, are awesome! They made us feel very welcome, very comfortable, and they eased my worries about my daughters pacifier use. I would 100% recommend them.

Both of my children have had a great experience with Dr. Hoffman. She is very warm and welcoming. My daughter had to have a filling and Heather did an amazing job (my daughter didnt even know she received a shot). She was all smiles afterwards and enjoys going to the dentist. Dr. Hoffman is also a good communicater and I received good information and a comprehensive plan.

Dr. Hoffman is very kind and gentle with children. She is not only very knowledgeable and thorough, she listens to your concerns and treats every child as her own. She is one of the best Pediatric Dentists that I’ve come across.

Dr. Heather (Hoffman) was TERRIFIC with my young 5 year old. He has extensive work that needs to be done and she was quick, great at explaining things to my son and myself - highly recommend!

Very welcoming and friendly staff! The dr was able to detect the fix my daughter needed and was able to fix it that same day at her appointment. They also have a cute little toy machine that your child(ren) will get a coin for afterwards, to pick out a toy. 10/10, highly recommend this place!!

Cannot recommend Smiles pediatrics and Dr. Heather enough. The staff is warm and welcoming and eased my toddler into visiting the dentist!
