WellHaven Pet Health Urgent Care of Bloomington

We took our kitty Fuzzy into the urgent care facility in Bloomington on Sunday 1/7/24. The team that helped us was great. Very patient, friendly and understanding. Unfortunately we had to make the hard decision to put him to sleep and again the team was awesome! Didn’t rush us in anyway, giving us ample time to say our goodbyes. Thanks again, you guys are great.!

I’m from out of town and my dog is having breathing problems. I took her in to WellHaven in Bloomington.
Every single person there was so kind and from the minute we walked in the door. They are a professional organization with caring people and I recommend them highly. The outcome wasn’t what I had hoped. But couldn’t have asked for better treatment.

I usually do not write reviews but this one deserves it. I went and visited the urgency room today for my pup that was severely under the weather. The team that I worked with was AMAZING. Dr O'Callaghan working very hard with my budget I had for the unplanned visit, she had a sweet, calming demeanor and very pleasant bedside manner. They kept my girl for the day and when I picked her up she was 100x better than she was that morning. We’re on the road to recovery. The tech that worked tonight, I’m sorry I don’t recall your name. Thank you for answering all my questions.

For my pup we’ve been to multiple vets, another emergency room and god sure led me here for a reason. Thank you Wellhaven team. I will be a repeat customer if an urgent care visit is needed.

We had to take our dog in after she ate my Valentines chocolates and they were so caring, and efficient . We left with a dog on the mend, who
is doing great now😊

Colette was amazing. Highly recommend. Sadly found out our cat was very ill. However she was so compassionate and came to a diagnoses right away. If you are worries at all about your bet this is a must go! Thanks again for a great experience! Just wish the news was better but you guys were amazing!

I'm so thankful for WellHaven Urgent Care on a Friday evening before a long holiday weekend! From the first phone call all the way through discharge, right before closing, everyone was kind, caring, and professional. Top-notch vet team, reasonable prices, and no horrendous wait at an ER facility! I would not hesitate to take my dog again and will recommend to others!

I can’t begin to express the level or gratitude I have for our experience with the WellHaven staff. We found out our cat of 11 years was suffering from cancer and would need to be laid to rest. While the entire ordeal was a challenge for our family, WellHaven’s staff was beautifully equipped to help meet our family’s care and emotional needs. Everyone was so kind and empathetic (from the receptionist all the way to the doctor); almost as if they were experiencing the loss and grief with us. It’s really special to have people like that in your corner when navigating such a difficult time.

They were great with our pup, Roku, and explained everything that was going on with his nasty ears and what the best treatment plan would be. Really good experience with our grandpupper!

Great experience at WellHaven! They were able to see our dog on the 4th when most other places were closed. Staff was friendly and kept us in the loop on what was happening through some short waits. The costs were very reasonable, comparable to a regular vet visit.

The entire staff was super nice and took care of my dog like she was their own. I am so thankful that you were open on a Sunday and that she was able to be seen quickly and that the price was reasonable. It was an urgent care situation and everyone on staff took it seriously and helped put me and Xena at ease. Thank you so much! I hope that I don't have another situation like that but if I do I will defiantly return (its too far of a drive from my house to come for regular visits).

I brought my puppy in for an urgent care visit. This was our first time trying WellHaven. The staff was absolutely great! The techs took great care of Brutus and made me feel at ease and secure. The Dr was very friendly and went over everything in detail with me. Not to mention they are very reasonably priced! I can’t thank WellHaven staff enough for taking such great care of our baby. You guys rock!!

I can’t speak highly enough of the professionalism, compassion, and clear communication I received after reaching out desperately to any emergency vet that was open. My experience was compassionate and candid and the staff was very warm and kind. Never mind that they took amazing care of my cat after he had complications following his neuter at a different site earlier in the day and for all I know, saved his life. Heaven forbid you ever need their services, but if you do, you will be in good hands. I am thankful for these folks and credit them with helping me and my baby cat through a very dark and alarming event.

They helped my kitty out yesterday. I was worried that he had a blocked urethra. Luckily that was not the case. They took great care of him and explained everything to me in great detail. They staff was very helpful and kind and i was glad they were able to get me in very quickly.

I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience at WellHaven. I was seen quickly and all staff members were caring and informative, especially Dr. Collette. She was amazing! She diagnosed my little guy's problem quickly, explained why she arrived at that diagnosis, what to expect going forward, what to do immediately, and how to manage the medicines I received prior to leaving. She was so compassionate, knowledgeable and caring. What a gift! Thank you.

We had a scary situation with our cat Oliver. The staff at Wellhaven was amazing. They were very communicative and helpful, and they were one of the only places that could get him in ASAP. Dr. Friedenson is amazing! She answered all the questions, kept me up to date throughout the days he was there and we felt super comfortable leaving our pet in her care. Our Oliver is starting to feel better and I couldn’t be more grateful!

We got our puppy in April of 2020 and were looking for a great clinic that had a puppy package. This clinic has exceeded our expectations. The staff is so kind and caring. They are always willing to answer all my questions as a new dog owner and see Bauer if an emergency arises. I know they treat my puppy right because he is always so excited to go to the vet. Having never been inside due to covid policies I feel relieved knowing that he is happy to be there. If you want a clinic that truly cares and knows your pet this is it!

Highly recommend these professional caring people. Our Shih Tzu had an extremely severe ear infection. They took their time in finding out the type, explained in detail how to care for her. They were fantastic.

I can't say enough kind words about the vets and the facility here. They were very kind, which really helped put me at ease. They diagnosed a long running issue with my senior cat and got her back to me very quickly with the right meds and a treatment plan to get her healthy. Thank you Wellhaven, bless you all.

this place is amazing, the entire staff was so kind & caring. i was able to get my dog looked at quickly & they took the time to listen to my concerns for my boy & made sure he would get what he needed. they offered me a room to stay in so i could figure out how to care for him, & let him stay with me when he got anxious. i hope i’m spelling this right but i want to shout out Mara in particular for showing so much hospitality towards me & my dog Buddy, she was compassionate, relatable & i adored her. they are very understanding about financial situations & will do their best to work around your budget & they are very upfront w cost before starting treatment so you’re not thrown for a loop post visit. i definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for urgent care for your animal.

We had a sick kitty and struggled to get ahold of a vet anywhere on a Sunday. WellHaven gave a very reasonable time and the staff took great care of her- they gave us everything we needed to get her feeling healthy again! Very grateful to have an attentive and accessible vet nearby!
