Bitter Tom's Distillery

Went to Bitter Tom's in Lake Orion for the first time. It was a great find. The drinks menu had many craft cocktails and the menu was full of interesting choices. The special and the fish and chip were very good.

Exceeded expectations, terrific place for casual date or small gathering. The wife ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup and was pleasantly pleased with portion and price. I ordered the steak tacos which were terrific. Anytime the waitress asks how you want the steak cooked for tacos it’s going to be good. Overall superb food quality at fantastic prices. Drink list is off the hook but wife would like to have seen larger Vino selection. It was a Saturday night but waitress took a little long to greet after sitting.

Ordered truffle fries too. Food was great. Love all the cheesecakes they make ❤ Wish they had the ferrero rocher one still. That one was AMAZING. Egg rolls were amazing, especially with the dip. Great food, great desserts, and great atmosphere.

So good we have favorites, and a favorite waitress who always takes our table. Love the patios with water & sunset view (with waterfall ambiance) I like that they are always introducing new things on the menu. Cocktails are fantastic. They honor their rewards systems too! If they had an easier take out or curbside system tied to their rewards too, I would order all the time. My son loves the club, I rotate between tacos and their vegetarian options.

Really awesome restaurant in downtown Lake Orion.

We came for dinner and even though I live in the area I have never been.

The food, drinks, and atmosphere are top notch.

They have a nice cocktail selection. Some of their unique cocktails were fantastic.

The food was excellent as I had been told.

Finally, the service was great. Our waitress was awesome and all the rest of the staff we interacted with were also very kind and friendly.

I highly recommended Bitter Tom's for an adult night out.

Bitter Tom's was a nice experience. We only had dessert and one drink each, but it was good. I preferred the peanut butter pie over the bourbon pecan, but I enjoyed both. The restaurant's decor was modern and inviting. Our server was nice and attentive. I'd like to come back to try the food at some point.

Went in with another couple on a Saturday night around 5:45pm. Sat down right away. Our server (wished I remembered her name - it was unique); she was amazing! Knew the menu, friendly and recommended dishes that we all liked. We will be back! :)

I was absolutely thrilled by this restaurant!! This was our first time here but we quickly clicked with our awesome waitress who was kind enough to offer suggestions and she did not disappoint! We started with the Reuben Egg Rolls and wow. Just wow. They are so crispy and full of flavor! To drink I would suggest either the Cosmo or the Athena (two of the house favorites, for good reason). If you’re a salmon lover like we are, the Salmon Clubhouse is jam packed with flavor and comes with a kick from the sauerkraut. (Sweet potato fries would make a nice side). And the Mustard Rub Salmon was to die for. The mixed brussels veg that comes on the side was a bit bland, but the seasoned salmon and rich sweet potato purée makes up for it!! Plus for dessert the crème brûlée was impeccable.
Overall we were incredibly impressed by our first experience and we will definitely be making a habit of coming here.

We had great service and delicious food. The temperature outside was in single digits, and the restaurant was kept nice and warm. I ordered my burger without the bun, and the cook made a nice lettuce bun for me. We'll be back.

This place is must try! A very large menu that is reasonably priced. The mushroom and steak tacos were outstanding made with fresh ingredients. Very friendly service and a nice patio overlooking the paint creek river.

We had a great experience dining in. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the shrimp pasta and bubble bath cocktail. Both were great picks. Our server was very kind too! I will admit though that the wait was long to get a table, and they don’t do reservations.

The food is always very very good. I have only ordered delivery but the place is obviously run well. They have a great menu and the specials are not to be missed.

Yesterday was my first visit with friends (finally!) And it did not disappoint! We enjoyed everything we had and can't wait to come back to have a full meal and try more drinks Our server Alexis deserves a special shout out because she is really knowledgeable, kind, and had great recommendations on what to order. Give her some special props! She deserves it. 👏 🥃

Picked this place for the happy hour menu and it does not disappoint! Fantastic cocktails and food. Staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is open, airy, and tastefully decorated. The bourdon whisky is very smooth! No wait on a Friday at 4.

Great place. My wife and I went there this past week. Drinks were fantastic. I would call the menu "upscale bar". You aren't going to get a thick steak but you will get a good flavored burger or sandwich with interesting flavor combinations. I am glad that I took a suggestion from a friend to not go to the beer list, instead opting for a nice drink. Do the same and you will not be disappointed.

They have a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The staff are always friendly. The food always looks beautiful and tastes great! Fish tacos are our favorite.

Bitter Tom's is a must go to place where the people working there are phenominal. Megan and Te were the best bartenders I have seen in a very long time. They were friendly and talkative, and they let me order Christmas drinks that are not on the menu yet...the sugar cookie Christmas drink was amazing! I absolutely loved that drink. Megan and Te were entertaining and very fun to talk to.

We go hear a lot, I enjoy the old fashioned's and my wife (who barely drinks) likes the mules. We even bring our three little girls and the kids menu is a real good value, lots of food, fruit even!

This is a place you can actually find CRAFT cocktails. We could absolutely taste the quality of the ingredients and the mixology behind the drinks. You cannot find anything close to this kind of craftsmanship in Oxford or LakeOrion. Plus they have a very extensive drink menu! This place has a quiet and romantic vibe that is also upscale.

The food was great and staff friendly. The restaurant is also nice inside. Tomato soup and grilled cheese were wonderful to have on a cold day.
