I worked with Melissa Olson to secure the HELOC. Melissa was very prompt in answering all my questions (all through emails). I feel valued as a customer. Not only she provided excellent customer service, she explained and pointed out all the document I needed to complete and sign. I feel she went above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable about the loan.

Came into the branch hoping to get a pre-approval letter, without an appointment. James, the mortgage loan officer was able to see me right away! He was awesome to work with, very knowledgeable and genuinely cared about my needs. I was blown away!! I highly recommend working with James if you have any mortgage questions!!

Tom Marquardt at Fire Fly Credit Union in Fridley is a customer service ALL STAR!! I sat down with him as a brand new customer just trying to figure out the features and guidelines for my new checking and savings. He went above and beyond to replace my fee based checking account with a free one, he was able to make my payroll check available right away and then even hooked me up with an interest accruing savings account! All of this was done at the end of the day, and he never made me feel like an inconvenience. One day later he called me to inform me my new checks were on their way! I can not say enough great things about Fire Fly and Tom and I look forward to a long term relationship with my local credit union!

Sorry TCF, once those "maintenance" fees mysteriously appeared on the statement for our "free" checking account, we started looking around, and discovered the benefits of credit unions.

This incredible place is open to the public and the checking account is not only free but better than free. In fact, the interest rate was better than what our mutual fund savings account has been getting lately, so we transfered most of it over as well. We've been using US Federal for several months now and have been very satisfied. Never going back to a bank.

Update: Moved out of state, so glad we could keep our account at what is now Firefly. Nothing here as good.

I love this credit union!! It has been such an amazing change compared to my old bank. I don't know why I didn't switch sooner!

Did a online app, Dayton called me the next morning and got the ball rolling.
It kinda took 3/4 days as to the car sold. Once I got a new car picked out. Dayton made it happen. Thanks Dayton and everyone @ tru-stone.

they have always been so great with loans. My son had the money in his savings for a car but they suggested instead of withdrawing it; he take out a loan against it with no interest. That way he could build his credit rating. I think it taught him a good lesson about money.

I have been with Firefly for a few years now. Love the new remodel at the Fridley Branch, it looks so open and inviting! Employees are always friendly and helpful!

I have been dealing with Michelle for 7ys at the lyndale location and I found that she moved to the Fridley location and I'm glad I found her. She is very helpful. Thank you again Michelle for the GREAT customer service.
