They do have the yummy dam some to eat if you love it and then you better to coming right here but sad face they don't make the Tofuflower (豆花)anymore of my gosh it's was made me so sad

We shared beef, chicken, prawns, and fish entrees and all were excellent! Service was great too! We will definitely be back.

Excellent food. Lots of flavor. Beautifully prepared. We got takeout. Ordered when we got there and waited about 25 minutes. Totally worth it. We got the fish stew, chicken wings, steamed dumpings, steamed prawns with garlic and ginger beef. Everything was excellent. I was really impressed by how bright and fresh the flavors were. The ginger beef and garlic prawns were especially good. Highly recommend for takeout. The restaurant interior leaves something to be desired: the finishes are wearing off and everything looks about 5 years past when it should have been replaced, but the food is excellent, making takeout the perfect happy medium.

Have never had bad food from A&L, probably been there a dozen times. If you like spicy, the hot and sour soup is excellent. They will season your meal to how Spicy you want it.
Cannot beat the lunch specials for 6.25
Don't expect a whole lot of conversation, service is a little different but they get the job done. (You may have to ask for your bill) They also have Dim Sum which is different and worth a try.

Absolutely on point! We've never eaten here previously, but if our first visit is any indication of the quality, size of portions, or great taste that A & L regularly produces, then i think we have just found our new go-to Chinese spot!
We had our standard: cream cheese wantons, chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice, and we were very pleasantly surprised with all of it.
Highly recommended! We will definitely be back next time we're having a hankering for some outstanding Chinese food!

The food is great. The price is surprisingly reasonably, $6.25 for a set lunch that includes a bowl of soup, an egg roll, fried rice and a dish of your choice. The menu offers a wide variety of choices. They are as authentic as you can get in the Twin Cities area. Dim sum dishes are available daily. The place is quiet in weekdays but gets busy in the weekends.

Awesome food and great staff. We were just curious about the dim sum, and we're wonderfully surprised by the menu items. We got there around 6pm for dinner, and dim sum is only served until 3pm daily. Regardless, the food taste homey and delicious! Definitely one of our new favorites!

My family and I had been looking for a good decently priced Dim sum in the twin cities, and this place was wonderful. The selection was exactly what i was looking for and the waiter was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place. We were a group of 5 and we only paid about $20 each which is really good for MN considering we usually end up paying $30+ for other places, plus we ordered more than enough food.

My wife and I went there to enjoy a nice buffet, only to find out that they do not have one anymore. You can still order the, all you can eat, off the menu and instead of going up to get your food they will bring you the different things that you request. I think this is better then a buffet because all of the food is fresh and hot. They also have a family meal that you can order that includes 4 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 2 bowls of white rice for a good price. The food there is by far the best Chinese that I have ever had. A big step up from when they were a buffet.

Absolutely great food and the service was amazing!! We ordered a dish that took a long time to prepare to go, and even though the server warned us it was going to be a while they still threw some egg rolls in for us to thank us for waiting ♡ it really made our day! We usually don't go to real places like this, sticking with our comfort zone with something like panda express, but we've seen this place around so often curiosity got the best of us. The food was 10/10! Way better than anything youd get at some fast food joint! I got the sweet and sour chicken and it was lovely. I highly recommend going here for all of your chinese food cravings (their wontons are fantastic too)

I decided to try Walnut chicken as I have never seen this before. I ordered the lunch special for $6.xx for takeout. I figured I would not be full after a $6 meal. Boy was I wrong. Great food and lots of it. The pieces of walnut in the chicken were like candy. The egg rolls are some of the best I have ever had. Fried rice is run of the mill, but that is not what you go here for. Thanks again A&L for the great lunch.

Best place for Chinese! We go here often. The whole family of 12 loves the food from the dim sum to the authentic dinner menu (we get dinner for 6 or 8$ Which include choice of soup and like 5 entrees like lobster, beef hot pot, crispy chicken, etc. All of it delicious.
For dim sum they have the main dim sum items and again, are awesome.
We started coming when they first opened and had no one there and service was bad. Food has always been awesome and service has improved. The business is doing better so now if we go in a day it’s busy and they weren’t expecting it the service suffers but food still great.

Most of the bad reviews sound like those that eat Chinese American which is not what me and my Chinese family come for. Though egrrols are off the hook!

The owner and her son are so nice and accommodating! Some of the most authentic Chinese dishes in all of Minnesota and reasonable prices as well. Must try the AMAZING lobster and the perfectly tender beef brisket

Best Dumplings I've ever eaten in my life. The Fish was Delicious... (I don't like fish) LoL. 10Star Service!! WE felt like FAMILY There. Great place and Excellent Food.

Food is authentically delicious.. Can’t beat the prices and you don’t have to go downtown.

Best wonton noodles soup in twin cities. Dim sum 6 days a week. Services always fast and very friendly. Best kept secret spot south of St. Paul City. Their prices are quite nice compare to other Chinese restaurants around cities. Love this place.

If you are looking for a QUIET place to stop and have a quick meal, look no further! Yes, the Buffet is pretty standard, the food is "ok" and the price is standard for the most part. I have personally been bother by the mega buffets and their annoying MASSES of people. It seems like the food is better in a way, but for all the noise that gets brought in from "that one lady" with her 25+ kids from the streets it never seems to blend in well with these places. So, bottom line...if you are looking for the most food you can eat for a reasonable price while dinning out or taking lunch out while been clocked in at work, this is the place to go.

Very polite staff and great Chinese entrees. I had the beef with hot peppers and black bean sauce. It was wonderful and not hot. A good mix of bell peppers, onions and other vegetables. Will come again.

I've been looking for a dim sum place lately and a few Cantonese restaraunts in the Twin Cities stopped serving it. This was my first dine in dim sim experience (ordering from the cart) ever. My dim sum was warm, delicious, and hit the heart like comfort food should. If you live in St.Paul or Woodbury + dont want to drive out to Minneapolis ( that was me), give this place a try. Friendly service too. Will be back.

P.s. their tea is refreshinggg because there were actual tea leaves floating in the tea pot. It doesn't taste like cheap tea. It has a slight sweetness. It helps to wash down the saltiness and oiliness from the dim sum, making more room for dim sum🍢🍡

The best in Minnesota in my opinion! Fabulous food, tasty fried rice, won tons, good fortune cookies, and I believe it's even family owned! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
