Victory Lane Quick Oil Change (Ypsilanti, Washtenaw Ave)

I have a high mileage beater car, I’ve been calling around looking for an affordable yet reliable oil change and Victory Lane knows how it goes. Josh hooked me up with a discount, was super kind, and walked me through the their process. It’s obvious they care about their customers without being weird about it. Feels like i’m talking to real people. Let me know what services would be helpful for my car but wasn’t pushy or anything about upgrading my service. Going here for every oil change from now on!

Josh and the new kid on the block at the Ypsilanti store at 3066 washtenaw gave me exceptional service. I highly recommend these guys. Must have decent parents because respect and customer service is what they give. 6 stars

I stopped into Victor Oil after I left Star Dealership, who said that they changed my oil. I do have many videos where the oil was leaking. My oil light was on, and because these people are so spot on and so professional. I stopped in for their assistathe guy topped off my oil. Noted it in carfax. Try to find the leak that somehow started after I came from a dealership. Who just changed the oil? The team could not find that my oil was clean and was very unable to do anything professionally. They did help me with peace of mind and to get my vehicle home and park it with safety. So that I do not ruin my engine. This team has changed the oil in my vehicle before. But not with this car. I trust their judgment they are quality!

Always great customer service and they showed me how to easily change my brake light. Only place I go now for oil changes. Convenient location. Highly recommend.

I’ve been frequenting Victory for well over ten years now. The customer service has always been top notch. The young men there are very nice, accommodating, concerned, and knowledgeable!!! I’ve gotten oil changes, and a few brake lights replaced as well as, the best recommendations for my car/cars! I have my daughter driving over from another city to get her oil changed here! They are phenomenal ppl!!!!

Jordan & Jason we’re incredibly friendly and helpful. They started my oil change 5 min before the shop was even supposed to open. Told them i needed a quick oil change & they got me out of there in less than 20 min. 10/10 recommend, will be back.

The staff here are very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I had my oil changed, and both headlights restored. They came out looking like they were BRAND NEW! After 23 years of oxidation, I never expected them to look that good. Thank you Mike and your entire staff!

I have a really positive experience with their service. The staff are really doing an honest job and very efficient with the work they need to do. I had a few cars ahead of me, but they were quick to attend to me even though they had a busy day and haven't taken a break yet. I forgot to mention the coupon that I needed to use when my payment was asked but they were nice enough to make it work. I really appreciate the patience they provided with the miscommunication that was made. Since this was my first time doing a drive thru oil change, there are a few things to make note for fellow first timers: 1. You would line up and wait for your turn. It is a first come, first serve basis. You would wait in your car while they proceed to do the service. 2. For this branch, if you don't need them to have your windshield fluid refilled, you have to inform them beforehand. Otherwise, it is automatically charged. There is a sign that informs you about this, but you have to let them know right away since they move so quick and are really efficient. 3. There is a 3% charge for credit/debit card. 4. You would have to reset the settings on your dashboard for oil change yourself. Overall, I definitely recommend Victory Lane Washtenaw for their top-notch service and quality products.

I’ve been patronizing this particular location for well over ten years (probably three different vehicles).
Staff is very attentive. When you go in for an oil change they go over and beyond. If you ask them about other things for your car, other than the oil chang they are the most knowledgeable. The most important, the most valuable thing for me is that I can TRUST them not to take advantage of my pocketbook, and their level of understanding. I've been using this business for years. I'm always quickly in and quickly out. This time there was a problem with a stripped drain plug which was very quickly solved and a new drain plug was installed. As this was a different car than I had been using it was the first time I ran into this and I was not aware there was a problem until they discovered it. Always excellent service and highly recommended

I never take the time to leave reviews but these guys deserve it. They are always super friendly and informative. They always get me in and out quick. Never have to worry about getting scammed here. I really appreciate these guys for always being so polite and courteous. They always take the time to explain everything in detail, which is awesome for those of us who aren’t exactly ‘car people’ lol. I always come here for my regular oil changes and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work fellas!!=]

Very fast service and they explained to me what the old and new oil look like, as well as showing me how dirty the air filter looked like. Everything was done very professionally and they are very friendly staff as well. Highly recommended

I got my tires rotated, and the guys on the Washtenaw Ave location gave me a quick, but thorough service of my car. They always go above and beyond to do what I'm looking for, but also make sure everything else is running. They always provide 5 star quality work.

Not only do they always change my oil quickly and without any of the condescension I encountered at various other oil change places I've tried, yesterday the lead tech also popped my bumper back in place without so much as a comment -it had been damaged in a collision with a deer and the repair place can't get to it until August (it's June now), so one edge was popped out slightly and I was just going it would hang on through the months until August. And now I know it will!

Had some difficulty with multiple oil plugs and left disgruntled after a second visit. I left a poor review to which I was almost immediately contacted and Victory Lane helped resolve the issue on my third visit. Thanks guys! (Fingers crossed the new plug will not leak)

Got my oil changed here maybe 6 months ago. Location is inside another parking lot which makes it especially easy to get in and out. Really good and fast service, a couple guys knocked it out in probably less than 15 minutes (I didn't time them but it was quick). They do a quick inspection while you're there I believe they top off some fluids, the guy helping me actually gave me some information on how drum brakes automatically recalibrate themselves when you fully engage your brakes while reversing which I didn't know, and it changed how I drive my car. I felt like he went a little out of his way to tell me that and I appreciate it. All 3 of the guys working were really friendly.

The prices are exactly what you would expect from a shop like this, I got full synthetic and probably paid $10-15 more than I would have at the dealership. In exchange I got some good advice on my brakes (which the dealership didn't mention when I bought the car, but that I probably should have known anyway) AND I didn't wait in a line at all, no appointment, extremely fast, etc. To me that's a fair markup.

My only objection is the service sticker, but the way they do it makes sense and it's not a real objection, more like a note for other drivers. I believe my sticker wanted me to come back in ~3000 miles which is standard for most cars, but a lot of the newer models actually go 5000-10000 miles between oil changes these days, depending on how you drive. Mine (2014 Ford Fiesta, normal/light use) is 10000 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. That said, older cars should have their oil changed every 3000-5000 miles, it's really important to keep it running correctly. All your oil will turn into thick black sludge and ruin the engine at some point. If you read and understand your manual and get familiar with your car's maintenance schedule you can just ignore the sticker and bring it in on the manufacturer schedule.

We drove in from out of town and needed an oil change so we stopped here. All of the employees were very friendly and they were quick with the oil changes, except ours because of a part issue. Instead of them letting the small issue slide, they had the local Toyota bring a replacement part right away. It obviously wasn’t their quickest oil change because of the issue but each of them apologized (even the employees that didn’t work on our car), they cleaned our windows, and filled our tires (the tires they do with every oil change). I appreciated their customer service a lot!
