Budget Inn Watkins Glen

We stayed for 2 nights at this motel when visiting Watkins Glen Park. Rooms are clean and spacious. There is a fridge and microwave in the room and bathrooms are clean. Great location..2 minutes to the park entrance and there are lots of amenities walking distance.

I highly recommends staying at the Budget Inn. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. He allowed us to check in an hour early after driving and arriving early. The rooms were very clean and service was provided each day. The room had a huge fridge and microwave. The hotel had breakfast and the owner gave us recommendations of places in town to hike. The hotel is in a great location, right across the street from CVS and a grocery store. It is only a few minute driver to Watkins Glen State Park. Additionally, the owner called me to let me know that I had left my sneakers in the closet. When I arrived to pick them up, he had neatly placed them in a bag for me. Highly recommend!! :)

This is the "Budget Inn." Don't expect it to be a 5 star hotel. The rooms were very clean and houskeeping was great. It's a cute, little, old-school motel in a great location. We are racing at Watkins Glen International and it was about 7 minutes away. Recommended.

Everything in the room and the bathroom was brand new.

The bathroom light was not your typical 10 watt bulb but actually bright.

My husband and I decided to visit Watkins Glen, NY. (1st time) We booked a room at Budget Inn & I will say I was a bit skeptical...was I ever proven wrong!!! The owners were the most pleasant people, (actually everyone in this town was) the room was exceptionally clean. (surfaces, bathroom, & even the aroma as we entered)

Booked three rooms here for a week. Great value for money. Everything was spotless and the owners were very friendly and accommodating -- as was their adorable cat! There's a supermarket across the street, a Dunkin Donuts and an ice cream store down the block and it's a few minutes' walk into town, where there are a range of stores and restaurants/take out to suit every taste and budget. It's the perfect place to stay if you're visiting the gorge, and is centrally located if you're planning to visit the wineries and surrounding lakes.

Great location to Watkins State Park; rooms were well cleaned and the owner was very pleasant! I was originally suspicious of how clean it would be given the price, but it exceeded my expectations! The extra amenities (complimentary breakfast, parking) were especially nice! I’d definitely stay here again-thanks Bob and family!!!

Clean. Rooms are a bit small for the king size bed, but if you're just looking to sleep, it's perfect! Very nice owners. Coffee and continental breakfast included.

It's your bare bones basic motel could use some upgrades but it's right close to the race track, so that makes it very accessible. There's a mall across the street with a big grocery store and gas station amongst a few other stores and it's pretty close to everything in town. The prices are obviously raised during a race weekend but that's okay. Definitely will stay at this place again. They also keep it very neat and tidy inside and out. Friendly staff as well. The owner is hands-on all the time and very well accommodating.

The room was very clean and comfortable …. sheets and towels were sparkling clean
The continental breakfast and coffee were enough to get us going for the day

Watkins Glenn was a wonderful place to visit on a rainy fall day. The sound of the water running all about you as you trek stone paths through a precariously eroded crevasse into a sort of Rivendell-ish story. Be aware of seasonal tourist patterns and winery schedules! 4-5 good places for a group of 10 or more to mingle. And this Inn provided a cost effective solution with comfortable amenities. Having a super market and liquor store across the street was an added bonus when we wanted to chill in some of the bigger rooms. It is on the main drag. Trucks fly on it in the wee hours. Can get loud - and dangerous if your friends want to walk home from downtown...

Very clean rooms and the owners are very friendly. It's a 2 star motel and is a good value. I am staying there again next year.

Way cleaner than you would expect owner definitely takes care of his properties

Really nice owners they even asked if we needed anything while we were staying there nice clean rooms well kept motel will stay there again and it's walking distance from watkins glen state park the town is really nice also
