Tommy's Express® Car Wash

One of my favorite car washes in this area. But the only problem is, it's way out of my way. If there was one of these on the south side of town, say by Fleet Farm or even by Apache Mall or something, I would love it even more. I would leave Mister Car Wash for it because I believe it dries my vehicle better than Mister does. Untill then, I will keep my Mister sticker....

It was the best experience at a car wash I could ask for. The staff was amazing at helping me choose a wash and directing me where to go. I would say give it a try! You won't be disappointed.

I am in favor of the car wash monthly subscription. The car comes out clean and vacuums and mat washing is available. The wait is usually not too bad.

I love this place! I went for a regular car wash and the employee was kind enough to help wash my mats for me. The vacuums are free as well!!

I saw the Mounds View, MN location as I was driving along Hwy 10. It caught my eye as it looked like cars were being washed through a clear, futuristic, turbo cleaning tunnel. You never have to leave your car at any point in time. There are no humans at any point along the wash to jump in and out of your car to wipe it down which I really liked because I prefer to stay in my car throughout the washing process. It is a drive-up service with a cashier. There are four types of service. I chose the basic level one which cost $8.59 (including tax). It is a "touch" car wash with the brushes. I drove through the futuristic tube and even at the basic level my car was bathed in soap and water. What I loved best about the experience was the blow dryer at the end. Instead of you as the driver having to guess how to move your car past the blow dryer to ensure the car is fully blown dry, the tunnel service does it for you. After I exited the tunnel, I exited my car to check the quality of the wash and was impressed at how clean and shiny my car was, and that shine lasted for days afterwards. I would most definitely use this car wash again. No question about it. Highly recommend!

By far the best car wash in town. The people working are always very friendly and make it worth the trip :). My favorite part about this car wash is the driers, they actually get your car very dry unlike a lot of other washes. I was told about the promotional deal for a month of free car washes if you sign up. They were very clear with me that you have to cancel if you don’t want to keep paying for the membership.

I always enjoy myself when I go to tommy's car wash. There's a certain worker that always has a smile on their face when I see him. Thank you Cody Runyon. Keep up the good work Tommy's car wash.

You know when someone spills what looks like a gallon of paint in a parking space at a store and doesn't tell anyone at the store, instead driving off, so then you're pulling into that space and don't notice and accidentally drive through it and then it spatters on the wheel well and the side of your car? No? Just me? Well, if you do, Tommy's is a great option for a car wash to help get (most of) it off. Shout-out to Michael and James (I think those are right) went above and beyond to make sure I got the right wash and got as much as possible off in the process. Thanks!

Jack at Tommy’s in Rochester, MN on Saturday (aug 21) was outstanding. He really helped me enormously and if I had $100 to tip him I would have done so. My extremely dirty car from a 2k trip (partly in rural areas on dirt roads) was spotless after visiting this car wash. The free vacuums and floor mat washers are so nice.

Again, can’t say enough good things about the employee Jack.

The attendant was super nice and helpful. He didnt try to pressure me on an upgrade, but suggested the appropriate wash only when i expressed interst by saying that i wanted a bit more shine included. He also assured me if I wasn't satisfied that the car was clean enough that I could run it through a second time free of charge. This proved unnecessary, after we went through once the car was sparkling clean! My daughter and I got to work right after using the very accessible free vacuums. Great job on my car, great experiece overall. Will definitely be back!

Very good wash,and doesn't scratch your paint like competition in town does!

I was hesitant to drive my black truck through at first due to the color. However after sharing my concerns with shift leader Itatin Campos, he spent the time necessary and explained why Tommy’s express is the best at what they do compared to others. He even went in to detail explaining the direction the wash brushes spin. His customer service and attention to the value they provide was absolutely exceptional. I am getting compliments on how clean my truck looks almost daily. Thank you Itatin Campos and the team at Tommy’s Express.

Friendly service at the counter and wash did a great job on a larger SUV but did not get the back hatch all that well. Not sure why there was a tax on the price either but this wash will dry your vehicle unlike most others

Great place. They have monthly deals where you pay once a month and you can have unlimited car washes during that month. Other places that offer "unlimited" usually mean once per day. I have not gone more than once a day so cannot confirm if it truly is unlimited times.

So I have pretty bad anxiety going to new places when I don’t know what I’m doing. It sounds kind of silly now that I’m writing this, but it was the fanciest car wash I had used before and I was nervous I would somehow do it wrong? Luckily, the attendant Joel was so incredibly helpful! He walked me through the process clearly and answered any questions that I had. I had promised my friend that I would try not to embarrass her at the car wash. I failed at that, but thanks to Joel I DID succeed in getting through the car wash without any problems and my car looks beautiful! Thanks for all your help and I will absolutely be returning for all of my car washing needs.

Irene was very helpful and respectful. She was educated on the wash qualities, and she knows her stuff. She helped me more than the internet could which I very much appreciate in this business.

Had got locked out my car couldn’t get a locksmith to come for a few hours and I had to be to work the guys there found tools to get in my car and saved the day so greatful to the guys for helping me you guys are the best!!! Oh yeah and the best car wash in town keep up the good work and the nice attitudes
