Mill City Tavern

Great experience. Located in the gate G17-18 terminal 1 at the Mpls airport. Great service, very friendly. Music was soft jazz and the drinks were excellent. We did not eat here, but saw several good looking dishes. Prices are what you would expect for airport restaurant. Great relaxing atmosphere and comfortable seats/tables. Would recommend.

I was not expecting much at an airport location, but honestly i was blown away. I ordered on the app and had my drink , seriously like 15 seconds after ordering

Pleasantly surprised by their breakfast options. If you're going to over-pay for an airport breakfast, I would recommend this one. Better than most others that I've tried.

Amanda and Christina made the experience. These women were kind, attentive, and personable. They made the unfortunate miss of a flight way better! Highly recommend as the food was also outstanding.

Delicious food, nicely spaced seating, very friendly and efficient staff.

Saved the day. I just wanted some real food, or not fast food. You can call a server and customize your salad more than the table tablet will allow. Marry our server was very helpful. The steak and mashed potatoes with veggies had great flavor. Not sure if I will ever be able to come back, but will be in my memory. I can't believe that an airport this size doesn't have more established restaurants like Dallas or Metro Detroit.

Quiet part of terminal, good food and fast service of food. Ribeye was worth it, and the cocktails were strong. 5/5.

The food here was very good. Priced fair for the quality. I hope my gate on return is the same. Buns were nicely toasted on the chicken sandwich. They allowed me to sub a side salad which was beautiful. The balsamic dressing was very good. No pic. Was too hungry & delicious

Kayla (I think is her name. She worked Saturday morning 11/11 opening at 5 am) is an incredible bartender. She is so kind and accommodating to even the hardest of customers (not me lol a group of ladies I watched her interact with). I aspire to be like her in my own work life. 10/10 service and a great bloody on top of it.

I enjoyed my food here i had breakfast avocado toast with a tequila sunrise. I thought the food was really good. Im not bothered by the QR code ordering. Staff is friendly drinks and food thumbs up

The steak blew my mind! I didn’t expect such a perfectly prepared steak at an airport. The sides and wine were great as well. Highly recommend.

Airport restaurants don’t usually come with high expectations however, Mill City is one of the few exceptions to this. This was the perfect stop for an early breakfast before my flight to Denver. I ordered the MN classic breakfast over easy which came with breakfast chips, 4 slices of beacon, and 2 links of sausage. The bartender on 5/14 was an attentive young women who was a joy to chat with. Thank you for all the you do to keep travels visiting MN happy!

Got a tall kolsch and an order of fries. Nice airy atmosphere, friendly staff, and less cursed vibes than the brew pub down the way closer up the terminal.
Perfect proportion of salty carbs to a beer, I would trust them with a burger or chicken sandwich.

Mike was our bartender, and I really enjoyed his serving style. The food was tasty as well (I got the spinach artichoke dip). The only negative is the ordering system, which I’m sure is complained about regularly.

Stopped by this convenient seating and location after a long tiring delayed flight on a Saturday night, initially planning to refresh myself with a drink. I requested Heath for local drink recommendations, and I loved all his suggestions. Thank you Heath, for making my waiting time much more pleasant! I highly recommend you to also stop and try their quality ingredient food and drinks. Congratulations for the great working team members here as well!

Sat at the bar. Ordered breakfast and a Bloody Mary. Attentive service. Great value. Almost too much food.

I don’t really understand the negative reviews. Probably one of the best airport restaurants I’ve been to

This was a 4-star meal but upgraded to 5 by comparison for most airport food, so consider this on a curve. My family had a terrific spread - a juicy cheeseburger and fries, buttered pasta, a very surprisingly well done walleye fish dish with mashed potatoes and shrimp, and too many good regional craft beer options to choose from. The iPad ordering system is a mixed bag but generally convenient. Dessert options are minimal. Overall, I'd seek out this place if I have time for a meal in this airport, and I'd look forward to it.

Had a wonderful breakfast omelette (veggie omelet with leeks, Swiss chard, excellent mushrooms and goat cheese). Accompanied by delicious home fries, rye toast. Got a side of smoked salmon instead of bacon, and that was awesome. Lots of local ingredients, good staff. Tasty local pilsner too (brunch, y'all, don't judge 😉). The omelette was well priced given the quality of ingredients; the beer was rather expensive. Portions were generous.

Having to place my order via an iPad was a waste of time and capital, though; that's clearly the airport food service operator's corporate deal, and was slow and cumbersome, unnecessary.

Food was good..staff was friendly and helpful in showing us what to do. Nice place to eat and wait on your flight. Prices were like any $$ restaurant you would go to. Will go back if we travel through here again.
