Ogden's North Street Diner

Ogden‘s North Street diner is the bomb! Such a cute place so charming… Delicious fresh food… Coffee that actually taste like coffee (Wisconsin coffee is not good… #WeakTea) … possibly the best hashbrowns in the world. And wonderful specials to boot.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming, and the andouille sausage scramble special was succulent and tender and just right.

This is not the place to go if you don’t like big flavors and rich…because this place cooks and serves gorgeous bold wonderful food.

The hash browns are the BEST BEST BEST!!!

Came here with family and we all really enjoyed our meals. The service was great. It’s a small dining room so feels more intimate. Probably not ideal for groups bigger than 4. Here visiting but would recommend for anyone!!

Easily the best breakfast fare this side of the Isthmus. Consistently excellent breakfast and lunch food. Fresh tasting. Fast. Friendly. Pigs in a Blanket, French Toast and Omlettes are a must try.

Ogden's is a legit spot to grab some top-tier breakfast or lunch. The menu is no-nonsense, consistently fresh, and packed with flavor. Yeah, it gets crowded - seating's a bit limited - but the wait usually stays within the 15-30 minute range. They've got customer service down to a science here, even offering to take your number to call when a table opens up. If patience isn't your thing, there's a coffee shop across the street to kill time, or you can relax in the outdoor seating.

Stepping inside Ogden's feels like walking into your friend's house - if your friend had some serious interior design skills. The vibe is an industrial farmhouse chic that's both clean and inviting. It's the staff, though, that really completes the welcoming atmosphere, making you feel right at home.

Food-wise, I went for the Denver omelette and sausage links, and let me tell you, it was all kinds of fresh and high-quality. The toast didn't disappoint either, and they've got a solid selection of breads. The hash browns leaned more towards mashed potatoes with a crispy layer on top, which was unexpected, but they were still a hit.

All in all, Ogden's is an absolute gem. I can't wait to introduce my friends and family to this local hotspot next time they're in town. Don't sleep on this place!

I’ve been in Madison for a the past couple of months on a work contract, and as my contract comes to an end this is one of the places I’ll probably miss the most. My favorite breakfast combo? Two medium eggs with hash browns a portion of meatloaf and a one delicious pancake.

At first, I was skeptical about the combination… but there’s something magical about dipping the perfectly spiced meatloaf into the runny yolk of eggs that just doesn’t compare to anything else. The hash browns are the perfect combination of pillowy and crunchy.. Throw pancakes? I’m lamenting that I’ll never be able to find anything like the when I leave. I’m convinced that their grill is so perfectly seasoned that it adds a unique flavor to the pancakes that can only be found at Ogdens.

I’ve had the chance to go several times during my time in Madison, and NEVER leave disappointed. I’m going to miss it so much!

I LOVE this place. Busier this morning than usual, but my daughter and I took a lively walk through the neighborhood while we waited for a table.

The food was amazing and delicious! Highly recommend the French toast sandwich and the blueberry pancakes.

Delicious! A typical, cozy atomospheric breakfast place that encompasses Madison's reputation. Absolutely love it here and will be returning!!

I went to Ogden’s today, and it was fantastic! I had the eggs, hash browns, bread and turkey sausage. The sour dough bread was excellent. My mother had the special which was a omelet with Brie, goat cheese and spinach. She enjoyed it as well. Our waitress was very personable and quick! She made us feel right at home despite having many (possibly all the) other tables. Odgen’s isn’t very big and seemed to have limited street parking so be prepared! Overall, this is a very cute diner and I would definitely recommend it for breakfast!!

Stopped here for breakfast after driving in from Westfield. Really, really good breakfast! Did I say good? The service was perfect. It's a small place with a big atmosphere. The BLT was packed with bacon with perfect proportions of mayo, lettuce, and tomato. Cari's scramble was very good. And the hash browns? The best!

Great little local eatery. Very close to the airport, and easy to find. In parking available on the street. Outside dining available if it's a nice day. The service was very helpful and friendly. They make a great breakfast. Will definitely be going back!

Awesome cozy spot for breakfast. The sausage reminds me of my childhood diner George Webb’s. Very nostalgic. Very delicious. I ordered off the menu from the special board suggested by our very intellectual and informative server Bridgette. Thank you Bridgette. I ordered the Potato bacon soup and the spicy scrambler. YUM. I know where my go too scrambler dish in Madison is now. Thank you Ogden’s!

Honestly the Crispiest Hashbrowns ive ever had. You could bag those things up and id eat em like chips. Im a sucker for some poached eggs and they killed it. And man the freaking blueberrys in the pancakes were huge. Some people might not like the smaller spacing and im a big guy but i think its part of the quirk. Highly recommend stopping in. 🤌

This is such a cute little diner. I had pigs in a blanket. So good! Eggs, bacon and toast were wonderful as well. Hasbrowns were OK, not my cup of tea. Coffee is VERY strong but great way to start your day. Service was wonderful and friendly. THE BUTTER AND SYRUP QAS DELICIOUS 🤤 The windows could use some blinds. But I would totally recommend this spot! My breakfast (half ate) photoed here.

We had breakfast. The chef really put his best effort into making my Denver omelette excellent. Kelly was our Server. She was so personable and made us feel welcome. We love this restaurant. It's a tiny gem in a lovely part of Madison.
