Trixie's Liquor

There are cheaper places to buy booze (and more expensive ones) Trixie's is your convenient neighborhood liquor store. Great, friendly staff if you're on the way home and need to pick something up.

I misjudged this place from driving along East Wash. While it’s nothing great to look at from the outside, the inside is very well organized and well kept. Everything was extremely clean - labels out on all bottles. The shining attribute here though is the friendly and helpful staff to be sure. I would certainly recommend this place if you’re looking for something in particular.

Great selection of beers and taps rotate frequently. Recommended Facebook to see what's fresh tapped. Taste it, get a pint and take it home...

Great place! The selection here is quite large with their beer, wine and liquor. Their make your own six pack focus more on unique beers which I personally like and their new taproom is great!

For the 12 and 6 packs I find their prices on the higher end, but their unique selection of bombers makes up for it. They also have great deals and limited releases which they mention on their Facebook page so make sure to check that out.

Also stop on by their new and awesome taproom next door! Their beers are always changing and the growlers are cheap if you don't have your own.

The staff know their stuff and are always willing to help make a suggestion. Very pleasant to interact with.

Good selection and amazing service. Every employee I've met has been a huge help and put a smile on my face.
Also very knowledgeable, one employee saw me in the wine section and asked if I would like a quick tour, and even on the tight schedule I was on he was able to teach me a lot about the store.

Oh that's right, you can also ask for a growler shop next door that always has a ridiculous amount of craft beers on tap! They'll let you try any and all that are currently pouring so you can find your favorite. Growlers, half Growlers, and crowlers, oh my!

Large selection of alcohol. Staff is very observant and watches everyone which didn’t bother me. If anything, it made me feel as though the environment was controlled. I got asked 2 times before checking out if I was finding everything okay.

They carry a variety of alcohol other places don't. The staff is friendly. Shelves are marked so you can easily find the spirit of the night. I see why it's JJOs go-to. Trixie's picks are always good.

Great selection and people

Awesome! The guy at the counter gave me a quick lesson on Tequila - why you want 100% blue agave, the difference between clear and dark colors, why "Jose Cuervo" isn't necessarily the best. Brilliant! I never had such a knowledgeable staff. I will be back!

Great eastside liquor store! Good selection. Friendly no-nonsense staff. Will carry out to your car. Semi-sketchy neighborhood, so be vigilant. But the store is Covid clean and safe.

I've always had great experiences at Trixie's. My wife and I find it extremely easy to exchange/order kegs. We lived in Middleton, but would still make the trip to Trixie's because of the level of service, selection, and responsiveness. They can usually get kegs within a week, too.

This is by far my favorote Liqour store in Madison, WI. They carry such an awesome selection of craft beers and hard to find items. If for any reason they don't have it all you have to do is ask and they will try to get it for you. Prices are always right.... Service is always friendly....
They are always recieving the newest trending items. They even allow you to call and reserve your items. They will put it in the cooler with your name on it so you make sure to get it.
Again I personally can't say anything bad about the place. It will continue to be my go to for all my alcohol needs. Plus they have an amazing place next door called Growlers To Go-Go... Awesome rare taps that can be purchased and put into Growlers or Crowlers to take home and enjoy. Or you can belly up to the bar and enjoy what they have to offer. If you have never been here yet I highly reccomend it.

Walked and told the man behind the counter that it was my first time there. He spent the next 5 minutes showing me around and making suggestions on what I was looking for. Also a nice selection of craft beer. Thank you!

They have a huge variety here! A nice well maintained liquor store. The gentleman working was also quite helpful. A great stop if you want something to drink.

Solid beer selection, and regular rare beers available. The prices are a little bit higher than the big box stores, but having the owner on site means a wealth of knowledge.

I absolutely love this place! The staff isso friendly and i love the atmosphere! Plus they have my beer no other store ive seen has!

We bought a lot of alcohol from Trixies for our wedding and the owner was very nice and helpful through the process. Delivery and serving were both flawless and the prices were very reasonable.
