Sweet Magnolias Bake Shop

There are so many wonderful, indulgent treats that I enjoy I hardly know where to start. Salted honey cookies, peach poppyseed scones, maple pear pecan scones, brownies, salted camel bars, peanut butter bars…all A+ in my book. And the cinnies of course, I’m team caramel.

Any cake occasion has me submitting an online cake order request (so handy). Sweet Mags also did our wedding cakes and they were the absolute best. We had multiple different flavors and they were all huge hits. No cake leftovers for the bride and groom. The one we cut was chocolate with peanut butter filling and salted caramel buttercream. Chefs kiss! We also had a red velvet, carrot with marscapone, funfetti with raspberry filling and vanilla butter cream, chai with apple filling and white chocolate buttercream, and the smoothest cheesecake with berries ever. It was a glorious cake buffet and everyone was a happy camper!

This was next door to Lisa Radial Cafe, so of course, after lunch, I needed dessert. Mind you, I do research all the places I stop, and reviews do mean a lot to me. If I see the review, I'm wrong, I will correct them. This bakery is a small bakery, but the desserts are so darn yummy and not your usual ones. Their scones are gigantic with yummy flavors. My choice was a Raspberry scone. Of course, I couldn't stop there, ha ha. I also selected several cherry pie bars. They looked so good, and it's one of my favorite flavors. Then, I hope I get this right a tahini Butterscotch bar and a strawberry cheesecake bar. The cherry pie bar was so tasty, the crust melts in your mouth along with the struesel flavor, not to mention perfect cherry pie filling. Can't wait to taste the others. Again, I live to support locally owned businesses, and its something we all need to do for our communities so we don't lose them. Nebraska people, if you haven't tried this bakery, get off your duff and visit it, you don't realize what you're missing. The review was spot on, kudos for leading me to this bakery.
Update: The cherry pie bar is scumptous as the fruit is perfect flavor, not too sweet, perfect, along with the crust being flaky and oh so flavorful .
Now, the Tahini Butterscotch bar is my new favorite, as the tahini and Butterscotch together are so delightful that it melts in your mouth its so perfect tasting along with the crust just compliments them both. Thank you for the new flavor profile for me as I love Butterscotch, but now I must have it with Tahini. Oh, so delicious & tasty 😋

Ordered 3 cakes for our twin daughters’ first birthday party. The cakes were absolutely adorable and so moist and delicious. Highly recommend sweet mags!

The absolute best scone I’ve had!
It’s buttery, and cakey, and filled with juicy blueberries and then topped with a sweet glaze. I’ve tried many scones and this one is 🥇.
The German Chocolate pecan bars are amazing as well.💕

Beautiful little shop with fantastic service and a vast array of options. My cinammon roll was perfectly good - but what really knocked my socks off was my spinach and feta scone. Wow! Highly recommend this little bake shop. Bonus points for being open on Sunday. They are very affordable too, my three items were only $12.

PS: They have vegan cinammon rolls.

The greatest bakery in Omaha. The scones are too notch and I recommend. I also recommend getting the cinnamon rolls. Honestly anything you get is going to be the right choice. The owner is nothing short of amazing. Women owned business and has my support ❤ If you want a cake for your wedding they do those too but make sure you order ahead of time to get your spot. Carrot cake is my favvvv.

Sweet magnolias! What a selection of scones, brownies, and assorted goodies. Cheddar corn scone was amazing ( their scones are light and biscuity, not denser traditional). Also one of the bakers makes these adorable earrings, and the floor is hilarious.

Wow! Their cookies are the best in Omaha. I love this bakery. Multiple locations and worth the cost. Everything I've tried has been delicious, you won't regret stopping by.

This is my FAVORITE BAKERY EVER!! They bake the most incredible scones I will ever come across and all of their flavor combos are divine. Excellent and kind staff, with an adorable shop and great values reflected in the whole business. Not to mention the artwork that they call cakes!

Sweet Mags is easily one of the best bakeries I have ever been to. It's a haven of whimsy and joy. I mean, look at this beautiful, tiny, impossibly precarious cake. Have something to celebrate? This place will create a confection worthy of the occasion. Having a bad week? Go to Sweet Mags for a cinnamon roll or unicorn bar and it's not a bad week anymore, it's a week that you had a dreamy cinnamon roll or unicorn bar. Keep up the great work, you sugar magicians.

This place is a gem! Some of the best baked goods in town. I've never been disappointed with anything I got here, but I have to specifically call out the amazing scones. They offer them in both savory and sweet and both are absolutely incredible. The bacon cheddar chive savory scone might be the best scone I've ever had.

New favorite place to get treats!! You can tell everything is made with such great ingredients. It’s a tiny shop right next to Lisa’s Radial Café. And right around the corner is Amateur Coffee.

There’s not much room inside the shop, you walk in and place your order and go about your day. They have a pastry case full of cookies and other treats like brownies, lemon bars, and even miniature pie bars that are to die for.

I crave their pastries all the time!! They have a couple locations in Omaha. If you haven’t tried them out yet, it’s time!

I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about Sweet Magnolias! Not only is the owner a gem of a human, but their treats are absolute perfection. For my wedding I wanted to do a variety of bite sized desserts with a personal cake, and each and every flavor was delicious! Kat went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and I had so many people ask where they could buy them afterwards. As a fellow small business owner, I can tell how much hard work and love goes into Sweet Mags. Each time I have a brand shoot I make sure to swing by sand grab a variety box because each treat is picture perfect. It’s truly a Nebraska gem and I continue to go back again and again!

I (Tara Miller) owner of The Heartland Interior Design, had the privilege of being the interior designer that worked with Sweet Magnolia's Bake shop on their interior remodel at their first brick and mortar location. We wanted the interior environment to accurately reflect the brand's incredible website and social media presence. Their baked goods are as delicious as they are beautiful and we really wanted them to be the star of the show. We accomplished this by incorporating brand colors and colors that are complimentary to the brand. We designed a new point of sale and selected a countertop that would be a great backdrop for the baked goods. We selected bright white paint colors for the ceiling and walls in order to make the space feel larger and more bright. We worked through multiple iterations for the back mural wall and had a local muralist paint it. We selected durable yet beautiful tile for the back wall and entry floor. We coordinated with a local tile installer to get the wording on the flooring just right. All in all we love Sweet Magnolia's Bake Shop for their products and now we are SO happy that their interior is an accurate reflection of their colorful and vibrant goods. Oh my gosh, where to even start?? From the savory scones like ham and havarti to the sweeter ones like ginger peach, the cherry pie and key lime pie bar, or an everything parmesan bun, you literally CANNOT go wrong with Sweet Magnolias. Not only do they make some of the best pastries in town, but they’re an excellent and welcoming part of our community. Omaha is lucky to have a place like Sweet Mags

I love every single thing I’ve ever tried from Sweet Magnolias! We had our wedding cake ordered with them (chocolate salted caramel) and we had at least ten people telling us it was the best cake they’ve ever had. My husband also loves the malted Oreo cookies with a fiery passion.

We ordered the Brown Butter Caramel cake for our daughter's 1st birthday party this past weekend and received a work of art! Family and friends from out of town even took some to-go for their drive home as no one could get enough. Thank you for making our celebration so sweet!

Sweet magnolias is ALWAYS a must. LOVE the cinnamon rolls and whenever they do have them ( however, I do wish it was ALL the time) pistachio cheesecake bars.

Wonderful, attentive, caring, enthusiastic, and professional staff. Owner was there, and having fun! The products are incredible. The chocolate pecan bar was astonishing.
