TJ's of Edina Restaurant

This is definitely the kind of restaurant you want in your neighborhood and has great tasting food the atmosphere is very chill on the prices are very reasonable. And when I say the food is great it is so frickin great. The wings were amazing they are like breaded and super crispy. Dont even get me started on the pizza, i got the meat lovers and it was amazing. It came out so hot and the thin crust was perfect. This was a first time and I am impressed for a local joint. The waitress was so quick and came back may times to check on us. Definitely recommend definitely try the pizza. Also they do take out orders as well!

I'm editing one last time. But I'm happy to say the wings are back to their regular size and amazingness!! Also tried the veggie melt and it was very good the bread and veggies were excellent!!

Edit: I have to edit this review. The service is still wonderful but one of the main reasons we go to TJ's is for the chicken wings. They are one of my favorite wings.

But the last 2 times we've gone we've been disappointed. The taste is still great. But they are Half the size. I'm not sure if they downgraded the size of their product or if it's their distributor did this to them. We were very let down and disappointed, and of course, they have the same price.

We had a sausage and mushrooms 🍄 pizza with extra sauce. The mushrooms were fresh and the sauce was more of a basic tomato sauce. It was good even though I prefer a sweet or spicy sauce. The wings were fantastic. Crunchy and flavourful. I'm def going back for the wings. The prices were very good!

What a hidden gem! Our server was so good with our three little kids. Great kids meals, amazing pizza, and they have a couple good beers on tap. We had to pull the littles away from the bakery cases, we'll save that for next time. Thank you!

Visited from out of town and found this gem. The food was amazing and the people running it were super friendly. Highly suggest trying the baked goods. So happy we found this place. Very cute and cozy restaurant.

Update: it was so good we went again on our last day in town. This burger and fries were 👌👌👌👌

Regardless of how busy it might be, you can always get good service and great food. Favorite for lunch!

If you are looking for a really good hole-in-the-wall restaurant. This one is great! Thin crust pizza was awesome! Pricing is also on the average to lower cost. Service was wonderful!! A bit dated inside decor, somewhat updated. but who cares!?

Went here for a work lunch on a weekday and was slightly disappointed not to have the breakfast options available, but ended up more than happy with the quality food we got anyway.

Great Breakfast and zero wait! Got a BLT as a special request- most DELICIOUS french fries!! The kids loved it!

I've been loving my dining experience for several years at TJ's. The service is always super and the food is delicious. My order is always delivered quickly which is great for those times when I'm on a tight schedule. And the servers never seem to mind offering an extra refill when I linger a bit to enjoy conversation with my friends. If you're looking for a home-cooked meal and friendly service, then TJ's is your place.

Neighborhood fixture serving a large menu of Gyros, Pizza and standard American fair. I enjoyed the fish and chips, the fish had a light, crispy batter with excellent fries. Wife’s Cobb salad was large with a plentiful mix that complimented the tasty grilled chicken. We split a malt with baklava as dessert. We will be back to further explore the offerings.

We decided to go out on a busy holiday on Mother's day. We made reservations before going a few days in advance. We didn't have much of a wait to be seated at our table.

A quiet diner with delicious food and large servings. I ordered a BLT and it took me a while to finish. The food tasted amazing and the staff was very prompt. I would certainly go again.

My fiancé and I were up early watching the Vikings vs Saints game. Of course pizza is a must on game day. Given how early it was, 8:30AM, we didn’t think we would be able to satisfy our craving. But we found TJ’s!! And let me tell you, this was the BEST pizza we’ve ever had. Perfectly made and cooked. Thank you!

I live in South Minneapolis, and some time ago, my neighborhood suffered a great loss when Curran's closed. It was a special place. Not unique, but special.

The kind of place that always seems to have 6 to 8 of the same roasting group of a dozen or so elderly patrons. Where the TVs are always playing whatever sports are on, where the decor clearly hasn't changed for a couple of decades, and where the menu goes on just a page or two longer than it seems like it should.

I've been looking for my new Curran's ever since they closed. This place is a strong front-runner. My girlfriend and I gave the menu a thorough once-over before selecting the items that are absolutely mandatory for a place like this to get right. Burger with fries, Reuben with onion rings, chicken finger appetizer. Her burger came with incorrect toppings at first, but once the mistake was noticed, a replacement was out in mere minutes. The Reuben was top notch. Corned beef was tender but not the prepackaged grocery store cold-cut beef you sometimes get at chain restaurants. Kraut and dressing ratios were spot-on. The replacement burger was nicely charred and cooked to a perfect medium as requested.

The chicken fingers were actually kind of exceptional, surprisingly, with a satisfyiny shatter to the coating, and the honey mustard had exactly the right level of honey.

The perfect replacement for Curran's would serve breakfast all day instead of just breakfast hours, but as the Rolling Stones said, you can't always get a waffle with your club sandwich.

I'll definitely be back some morning to check out that breakfast menu, as well, I imagine, as to order, you know, an actual pizza from what is nominally a pizzeria.

TJ's is a great lunch spot! They have a large menu with many options to choose from. Prices are incredibly reasonable and you get a lot of food for the price. Your food comes out quickly and the service is always great which is helpful if you have a limited break time. I've never ordered anything I haven't enjoyed!
