Ace Hardware

I stopped by the Robbinsdale, MN store today and had a really wonderful, stand-out experience. The gentleman who checked me out, Brian, went over and above to ensure that my rather fragile merchandise would get home safely by not only retrieving a cardboard box from their recent inventory shipment, but he also stood there and created a little makeshift system using pieces from other boxes to separate and cushion the merchandise to protect against any damage during transport. It was a small and kind service that he definitely didn't have to do, but decided to anyway. I only later learned when I called to pass along my positive experience to management that Brian is a manager at this location. Times are tough, and many other retail interactions have felt cold and even abrasive lately, so interactions like this are genuinely heartwarming. Happy holidays!

I needed a fan for my bathroom. They showed one in stock, that I could pick up today when I checked online. Everywhere else showed pick up for a few days out. So I went here. When I got in the door there were a couple of employees around the counter doing various things that I really didn't pay attention to. One asked if I needed help. I asked my question and another responded with the exact location. As I was going there. I walked by a customer talking to another employee. I could hear their conversation quite well as I was looking at my options for the fans, he was going in depth on the product she was looking at. With very good information. This being the first time I have been to this store. Seeing that, and looking at what they had around. I was sad I've lived so close for so long and had not thought about coming here. I know it's not as big as Home Depot, or the likes. But I'm going to come here first for all my needs before going elsewhere! I've not had that kind of perfect amount of help, or feel of knowledge on products from any of the bigger stores.

I legitimately can't say enough about how amazing the people working here are. Bryan and Brian are both great and have gone above and beyond in helping me many times. They are magic. I can't believe how helpful they are. They empowered me to get my house repairs done myself when I have next to no knowledge about what I'm doing. Lol! Everyone working is always extremely friendly and this is definitely my favorite store. Thank you again and again, Brian and Bryan!!!

Currently sick & in isolation with Covid. I called ACE & she coordinated someone to drop off my dog food near my car so I would not need to walk into the store. Moreover, she was positive & happily obliged. Great customer service & ACE will continue being my #1 local hardware store. Thank to the ACE Hardware associate this applies to (did not get her name)!

Best old fashion hardware store ever. They have everything you can't find elsewhere. Only wish they were closer to me.

Shopping for plaster of Paris today. Did not want to try one of the LARGE hardware stores. This time I asked and got wanted to problem. Great place and people are happy.

My favorite hardware store. I love local businesses. Parking is usually pretty easy, & they usually have what I need at a reasonable price. And there are friendly people there who can help you find what you need and who keep their attitudes in check (That doesn't always happen at the big box stores).

If you need it this Ave actually has it. Great old style hardware store.

I buy my dog and cat food here and the staff are all so friendly! I referred to the gentleman as "Hey Friend!" While he was opening the door for me to access the other building, and was greeted back with, " Oh Hi Friend!" It was a fun exchange since we see each other every 2 weeks!
They also have a great grilling selection with dry rubs, seasoning, and so much more! Now the garden center is open!

They have a vast array of tools, etc. As a gardener it was great to see so many garden related products.

A superb gem that I constantly stop in at for home renovations. I come here very often during my projects. All of the staff are attentive, knowledgeable and above all helpful. I've never had an unpleasant experience here. The staff have made me a repeat customer. Thank you for everyone's hard work and dedication. You are all appreciated!

It's what a hardware store is supposed to be. We'll stocked, knowledgeable people, with the greatest creaky wood floors like real hardware stores should have. Great selection of garden plants, soil, fertilizer etc. Big selection of grills, smokers and accessories. Buy my Traeger supplies here. Pellets and rub. Needed a button battery, they had it. 3/16/24 Huge selection of rub and sauce. The gentleman running the store knew his stuff about the products and 'cue. Check em out.

The staff here have been very helpful and accommodating with all of the senior shoppers I bring here.

Love this location. Started coming here because I had a couple bad experiences at other stores. Always someone available to answer your questions or help you. I've been here several times and never have to hunt someone down for help. Excellent customer service and they have always had what I needed. Prices are as good or better than other options.

Went there to check out the garden center and was very impressed! They pack a big variety of plants in a convenient little package. I was able to find organic vegetables, native polinator plants and colorful annuals. I grabbed a bag of potting soil, a little plant advice and checked out in under 20 mins.

Friendly staff, small town feel to the store, busy most of the time, during business hours but well staffed so there's no problems with finding help from staff or checking out at the regesters(also well staffed/employee always at register area's). For being fairly new owners/staff, they are "right on the money" with the staffing of employees, stocked and well maintained, clean store/floors and little to no products blocking isles. A little higher prices vs bigger, named chain stores, but worth paying more for the helpful staff, product's in stock(almost all the time, in my opinion) and high end, name brands to choose from, throughout the store and in every department area. This is my reasonings for shopping here than going to the other bigger named stores for my needed item's and will continue to shop here, even if i have to maybe pay slightly higher prices, their customer approach and friendly knowledgeable staff, makes that all worth my extra few bucks I might have saved by going elsewhere to shop.
