Was lovely having dinner here. First time and the food was good. Had the cup of gumbo (my first time ever eating gumbo) great size to start if you’ve never ate it a cup. Taste delicious with a kick; had the half & half fajitas and they were great with jumbalya. That was fire and I would recommend it. My beloved had the blackened Salmon with broccoli, jumbalya and he liked it. They have a good kids menu for all them picky eaters. There fries I will say where a little on the hard side as if they where sitting out. But overall a great meal and great experience.

Love Borders. Always good food and drinks. Ate here with a group of about 25 this time. Always amenable to accommodating groups. Hope the fire doesn't have lasting effects.😪

This place is so unique. It has Mexican food with a Creole influence. I had the Gulf Coast seafood enchiladas that were shrimp and crawfish wrap in a flour tortilla covered with a creamy white sauce. My side choice was blackened broccoli that was so good.

Good food and drink option that’s right around the 1/2 way mark on our trip to the beach. Food and drinks were good and fresh, the bar service was good and we lucked out with the last 2 spots when we walked in.

My son had asked me to go out for dinner and he took me to his place, called Borders café.
The atmosphere was very jovial very nice service was outstanding our server Abby was so good to us .
She always asking us do we need anything you want to refill our drinks? I thought that was very very nice. .
The food was great. My son had the cheese enchilada and my future daughter-in-law had a chicken enchilada and myself I had to cajon chicken with jambalaya rice.
The service was very quick and the food was good. No, it was great.
I will definitely coming back here once again.

We dined with friends today @ Stanton DE location. It was superb. I’m on a lot fat/sodium diet. My grilled Salmon was perfect … requested no spices. My salad was great with sliced guacamole!
Daja is a great Waitress.

The food and atmosphere are excellent. I love the blackened chicken and my wife loves the tacos.

The inside is an aged and rustic Cantina vibe done extremely well. There is plenty of seating and even outdoor seating for when the weather is good.

Staff are friendly and generally fast. Food takes a reasonable time to be served and out of a dozen visits I have been satisfied every time.

The food is great, it's not a huge menu but what they do have is out of this world. Always get the beans and rice, your welcome.

We do not live in the area anymore so whenever we are in a roadtrip that could possibly bring us by this establishment, we always make sure to stop. The service is phenomenal. The food is delectable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming! There’s no place like this one. It’s been almost ten years since we lived around this restaurant, and we go out of our way to come to it whenever we’re on roadtrips.

This place has great food at great prices. Service is always great as well. I would highly recommend this place. Can get very busy at dinner time but worth a short wait.

I worked in food and beverage management half my life. This place was one that we have been to in a long time where the service was top notch! Our serve was amazing. Food was fresh. The most important thing was my husband had an issue with his food and instead of just having the server apologize the manager actually came and apologized and brought the food out herself within 3 minutes! I do not see that very often anymore. Servers typically get thrown in and fends for themselves while the manager sits around and avoids the conflict. Abby our server was fantastic!

I must say that getting lost and stumbling on this delicious gem about 10 years ago was a pleasure. Throughout the years of coming here, they have been consistent! The food is some of the best. The chicken and beef are seasoned to perfection, and the Jose rice. I crave the rice! It's my favorite. The 52-minute drive from Baltimore is well worth the trip!

This place was awesome it reminds me of Jose Tejas in NJ I don't know if there owned by the same people. Definitely will go back the place looked really busy but it was a 10 minute wait. The food was delicious the staff was excellent. The drinks were amazing.

They make the best margaritas in Newark period !

Try the guacamole here , it’s fresh and too good!

The Tejas chicken are too good as well , but the best in the food menu is the shrimp tacos !!

Generous portions of shrimp with a delicious chipotle dressing have made this my favorite dish here !!

For drinks , pick any Margarita and you won’t be disappointed. My recommendation thought would be anything that has Cointreau !!

Stopped by for lunch... the place was packed, yet they found a place for us... food was awesome... The server was even better... atmosphere was loud and busy, but it didn't seem to bother or table...I highly recommend you give this place a try if you are in the area...Jose knows what he is doing.

Everything about our experience here was amazing! The service was impeccable! Absolutely the best service I’ve had in YEARS! The food was beyond amazing and very fresh! It also came out fast which was wonderful since we were heading back home, a couple hours away. We will be stopping again the next time we’re in the area!

Good food and vibe. Mexican, Cajun and mesquite selections were all very good. The place was busy on Saturday evening but our party of 4 was seated in less than 10 minutes.

Amazing Tex-mex, the best chain of which on the east coast. Seated fast, great and quick service always, and delicious fajitas.

My favorite restaurant hands down. The BEST tex mex food with so much flavor. Service is always fast with plenty of staff always there, the teamwork everywhere is awesome. The atmosphere is amazing and unbeatable. We come at least once a month and never get tired of it! We always get the fajitas and blackened salmon, SO good! The only thing I wish they would update is the drink menu; more tequilas and maybe freshen up the selection here and there.

The chopped salad is so good! The food here is always very flavorful and the customer service is excellent. One of my favorite restaurants in Delaware!

Loved it, great meals and wonderful service. They really do the best they can considering Covid restrictions. I had the mesquite Salmon and it was so moist and smoky. First time I tried a grilled avacodo, it was quite nice.
