Triestina Restaurant

Came after speaking at church tonight here in town. Great food. Great service. Good prices. Ravioli and chicken marsella both fantastic. Great chef.

I went to a family party here on Saturday. The servers couldn't be more attentive & the food was an A+The penne vodka & chicken franchise are to die for!

Went their today for a repast. Fried calamari was on point best I've had with a light batter and not rubbery. Very delicious. I had the chicken franchise it was good but a little salty for my taste. The veal parmigiana was a hit seemed everybody loved it. They also had salmon and it was also very good. Nice place but the floors are very uneven when you walk in so be careful getting around in the restaurant. Overall was a nice place to eat and would go back to try more meals...A+

I was staying in jersey for a conference and this restaurant was the closest to our hotel. It certainly did not disappoint. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was absolutely delicious. The servers were attentive and efficient. There were 2 or 3 other parties when we arrived and by the time we got dessert every table in the restaurant was full. Certainly a neighborhood’s favorite. Don’t think twice just go and make a pit stop next door to the pub and pick up a bottle of canyon road! We all had the chicken martini with cognac sauce made to perfection. Awesome portions! Will certainly go again

Easy to find plenty of free parking BYOB italian menu. Very tasty good value clean friendly staff. Family owned business. Been here many time, recommend highly.

Excellent service & consistently solid meals. They go above and beyond.
Highly recommend the house asparagus & chicken or flounder francaise.

Amazing food! We had 6 different dishes and each was better than the next. Truly exceptional ravioli special. The staff was friendly and the chef even came out to ask how our meal was. Plus it’s BYOB! Would definitely recommend a visit.

Absolutely delicious from clam appetizer, calamari right down thru tiramisu for dessert. I highly recommend it.

Second time at Triestina and the experience was excellent just like the first time. Polite knowledgeable staff that know the dishes. Loved the deserts. Very light which was unexpected but very welcomed after an amazing medium rare steak! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

As usual the food was great. The one problem I have with a lot of Restauants is that I'm being
Charged for using my credit card. Unfortunately this affects my ability to give a better tip

We were very pleased to be treated with a smile and ability to fit us in without a reservation. The food was excellent , we had the asparagus appetizer which was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. It is BYOB which I will keep in mind for our next visit. We definitely will be returning soon.

Great food and service. The specials are always welcomed, as I feel they have had the same menu forever, but very consistently good food.

The cost here is reasonable; the service is excellent. Bring your own alcohol. The main thing is how absolutely amazing the food is. I had chicken stuffed with shrimp and artichoke in a mushroom sauce that was insanely good. Now that was a special, so I am not sure how often it appears on the menu. But wow! I was so impressed by the culinary experience.

I don't understand what a few people are complaining about, I recently attended my friends 80th birthday party and found no problems with the food and service, the service and food was excellent, the food came out hot, fast and it was delicious, we had a great time and me and my family will return to this restaurant again.

We had gone to their sister restaurant, Il Goccino, in Madison, and enjoyed an excellent meal there; they told us their father was the chef at another location, in Cranford, and two or three weeks later we went there for an early dinner.

The owners (the father and uncle of the young men running the Madison location) were friendly, and seemed happy that we had taken their sons’ recommendation.

The premises, like the place in Madison, was very clean, and the food was amazing.

The presentation was excellent and tasted as good as it looked.

my girlfriend lives in New York City, and she has dined at many Italian restaurants there; she is very picky about food, a restaurant’s cleanliness, and food presentation- and she told me (and the owners) that their two places were the best she had ever dined in In New Jersey, and among the best restaurants she has ever eaten at anywhere.

Triestina is now our favorite local restaurant. Prices are quite reasonable, and well worth every penny. I have spent as much or more in other places and not walked away as satisfied at having had a great meal as we had here.

We saw people come in after we arrived, and most, if not all, seemed to be regulars. In fact, we overheard one man at a nearby table telling his son and (apparently) his nephew that he has been coming to Triestina for years, and boasting about how good the food is.

I almost envy him for his having enjoyed dining there for years, as I only discovered it now, despite having lived in the area for many years!

All in all, it’s a wonderful place, and I just made reservations for Valentines Day.
Obviously, I highly recommend it.

Went based on location and reviews. Loved it! Menu was fabulous. Atmosphere was intimate and our party could hold a conversation without shouting to be heard. Service was outstanding and food was delicious. Spent a little over two hours there, our choice. Not rushed. Will definitely make this our new go to place.
