Johnny Roll House

Ordered sushi for 2 and some extra rolls today. As always, excellent service--staff is extremely friendly, and food comes out quickly and looking amazing! And it tastes even better, if you can believe it (and you'd better believe it)! Would recommend this place to anyone, whether you're eating alone, with friends, or with your family (like me & my boys). 10/10

If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. My boyfriend and I got take out, and to start, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. When we opened the food, there was edamame, miso soups, and ginger salads, all on the house for us. We were in awe and want to thank this restaurant for treating us so well. Not to mention, the food was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back, I think we found our new sushi spot.

Had a wonderful lunch here. Got 3 rolls, edamame and miso soup. Service was extremely fast and everything was so tasty. Can’t wait for our next trip.

The server is so sweet, and they have the BEST miso soup I’ve ever had, I come daily to have it, and their unagi don is amazing!!!

Always amazing food and super friendly and attentive staff. Very clean establishment as well. You can’t go wrong for a good night out with family or just friends or for an easy to go option to eat at home.

If you love sushi, this is the place to go. The jalepeno salmon and the shrimp ball apps are a must. The frankie cassanova roll is out of this world

This was a surprise to us!! Really cute place on Montvale. Unassuming from the outside, but once inside it's a different experience. Cute place. Food was incredible delicious and the service was great. Everyone was friendly.
I think this is one of those hidden gems.

Friendly, quick service, parking in the back, and delicious sushi! The soup and salad were both well done, as well.

This is a must eat location, unique and delicious specially rolls, incredibly fresh fish and amazing staff. My wife and I came in for a late Monday lunch and enjoyed 7 specialty rolls, shumai, and gyoza. Do yourself a favor and enjoy an experience.

Loved it. Every roll we tried was excellent and some of the best miso soup I've ever had. The seaweed salad, side salad, and gyoza were all amazing. Looking forward to returning here in the future.

Johnny Roll House is my favorite sushi spot in town. Always fresh and delicious. If you haven’t you should check it out.

Fantastic. I cannot find a single thing about this restaurant that I don't like. Johnny's masterful sushi creations are some of the best foods I've ever had. Excellent and Friendly costumer service, great sushi, I can't stress this enough. If you've been looking for a nice Friday dinner, then this is the place.

Best place on the EC for the classics. I've never had a problem product here. Ingredients are always. That's what really the biggest difference in a Sushi place. This place does a good job at rotating the menu and keeping the staff happy. It shows. I love this place.

All members of my family eat at Johnny Roll House very often, and we simply LOVE the food here, yet for some reason I had never written a review. So here it is! I went again last evening, and our meals were as delicious as usual. I especially love the Johnny Rock Shrimp appetizer, and myself, my son, his friends, my girlfriend, and her daughter have never been disappointed with ANY of Johnny's sushi dishes, and we've sampled many. Johnny's staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and dedicated to a restaurant they love, and Johnny himself is a wonderful host and an even a better chef. And the restaurant was expanded recently, allowing for a wonderful dining experience. I cannot imagine any sushi restaurants in Bergen County being better than Johnny Roll House.

In the area for work training and figured I would give this place a shot. Not only do they have an unbelievable menu but they also went out of their way to make me feel like a special customer. Complimentary sushi and one of their dessert drinks to try. I would rate far more than 5 stars if I could. Highly, highly recommended to anyone.

The people are very friendly and the food was fantastic. The restaurant is very clean.
