Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits

NEED BEER??? The guys gave me great advice on beer. For example, Hopcromancer India Pale Ale. But they showed me the special Mead Chaucer's A Mead for all Seasons Cold or Hot, Spiced, or Not. This is a special wine akin to a German Desert Wine of Liebframilck. The bottle comes with two spice packets, which you may add to the wine. The spice is made from cinnamon, orange peel, cloves, and more. The effect is similar to a Mulled Wine but much sweeter. You might copy the spice recipe, add Nutmeg, and try the tincture in a dark Cabernet Sauvignon. This store has, in my opinion, the largest selection of wines, beers, LIQUORS and other spirits in the entire city of Rochester.

This liquor store has the friendiest staff. I asked for JP Wisers Deluxe, they didn't have it in stock but said if he could get it he would call me. It took a little while but the manager was able to get it in, saved a case for me and called to tell me it was in. Long story short I drove from Illinois to Minnesota to get it. Its a shoter drive than back to Canada where I found it the first time. Thanks again

Speaking of friendly, ask for Patrick, he is knowledgeable and friendly. Good selection and reasonable pricing. I really like the store. Two thumbs up!

Pretty deep selection of beers and liquor. Pricing is comparable with the rest of the liquor stores around town. Employees are helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit, they have weekly sales as well a 'create your own 6 pack' section which is pretty cool. Rather large wine selection as well with boxes and bottles both available. Large walk in cooler is a nice touch as well.

I've been going to this liquor store for years. The staff is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable about everything they sell. If you need a good wine to pair with a steak dinner, they'll know what to suggest. Their liquor section is pretty standard with a few surprises, but I love both their beer and wine sections. So many varieties and usually pretty good deals.

I LOVE the Barlow location. Great selection of craft beer with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were out of stock of a beer I wanted and they called me immediately when it came in so I could pick it up. Doesn't hurt that its right next to the bundt cake store ;). Keep it up guys, we appreciate you!

Pricing is comparable or better than the competition from Liquor stores in town. Nice and clean, and doesn't feel seedy. They also always have beer (and sometimes wine) on clearance near the door for as much as 75% off of the standard price. Killer!

Here from Chicago for my daughter's gymnastics. Stop by Hy-vee too get some alcohol very friendly people that work in there. I recommend you stopping by there if your in Rochester Minnesota.

This is a great place to pick up all your liquid spirits at a good price. They frequently have sales and if you purchase wine by the case they give you 10% off

Great selection and one of the largest cold beer selection around the area. They have what some of the other places in town don't have. Huge wine selection.
