Bellissimo Restaurant

What a great restaurant! The service is impeccable and Ken was attentive and his memory impressive. We have a party of 12 and they did not miss a beat from appetizers to dessert. The food is delectable and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The bread is warm and the crust is delicious and we kept asking for more.

Located off of Kinderkamack Road in Montvale, this establishment combines a casual atmosphere with magnificent Italian cooking. Bellissimo has a big following, so it’s recommended to reserve if you can by calling their phone number, which we did for dinner tonight. It’s always jammed with patrons at the host area, which is always a good sign. Upon entering, my partner, our friends and I were greeted by the staff and the owner, Tony, and were seated promptly. He even remembered where we sat two years ago. That’s a great sign, showing that he cares about his customers. The menu is extensive, with soups, appetizers, salad, pasta-fish and meat, as well as daily specials that are usually creative and unique. For starters, some of us opted for tonight’s special pear salad. For our main meal, we ordered a couple of tonight’s specials, one consisting of stuffed veal and the other being snapper, veal piccata, veal with funghi (mushrooms), and chicken fingers with fries. All meals came with a house salad with balsamic vinegar. Complimentary bread started our meal. Some of us saved some room for dessert and ordered the tiramisu and crème brûlée cheesecake. Food is carefully prepared and detailed so that it remains consistently delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful, as we were a party of six, and they did not miss a beat from appetizers to dessert. They truly want you to enjoy your experience. Bring your choice of wines and sit back, as this is BYOB. The place has been in the top 10 of ours, so if one wants to be impressed with food and service, this is the place that we continue to recommend.

We had a great time at this place. Ernesto was an amazing and accommodating waiter. He knew that it was my birthday so at the end of dinner he had brought me this amazing birthday chocolate mousse. I didn't expect that. The food was great. And it was BYOB. We're definitely going back and be repeat customers.

Went there for my cousins 75th surprise Birthday party and it was fantastic. We had a private room and the entire staff was amazing.

Go with a group of women from rhe community I live in. Usually about 20 senior women. Nice lunch menu with prices ranging from $17-$20. Entrepreneurs comes with a house salad and soup of the day. Good variety on menu -good service and plenty of parking

very accommodating to our massive (and loud, sorry!) party. they managed to serve all 20 of us with every dish coming out correctly and hot; im so impressed! mine was delicious as were the people’s around me whose i got to try 🤤 The appetizer selection is a little limited for me, though classic Italian restaurant- I enjoyed the burrata at least, very well done as a special. We didn’t do dessert but there were nice options and the BYOB feature is always appreciated. Great place for events, family dinners, date nights and more

This place has been open forever and for some reason we have never gone. My parents are less than 4 minutes away and it always looks busy but never went.... until today.

My mother, the birthday girl, was so thankful we didnt stay in midtown for dinner and that we discovered a place so close to her home she felt so nice at.

My father is notorious for disliking everywhere that he goes looking for certain dishes.... he is always comparing them to places that used to be open years ago and fill him with nostalgia, to be disappointed when it is not up to par. We fully expect to leave each place with him underwhelmed at best.

Tonight we were surprised and delighted to find he enjoyed and finished his entire linguini with clam sauce. Amazing.

He even offered to take her back for a lunch date during the week.

Four of us visited Bellisimo recently for a Friday night dinner. We arrived around 7 and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself has a warm vibe, not overly large and not very noisy. You can easily carry on a conversation with your dinner mates. Between the four of us we had the chicken parmigiana and the stuffed rigatoni. Each meal was expertly prepared into a very generous portion (leftovers came home). Dessert was coffee, cappuccino, cheesecake and a cannoli. It was all amazing stuff. I’m of Italian descent and have been eating Italian food all my life and I can honestly say this was some of the best Italian restaurant food I’ve had in a long time. The servers were all excellent and the kind of people who also were willing to just talk to you. Very good grades all around. The four of us ate for $140. Bring your own wine!

This place is amazing! All servers are friendly and very professional. Hostess Joyce is so sweet. Food is incredible and Tony is a great man. Highly recommended! Ambience is amazing.

Can't speak for the menu or prices as we went here for a large family party with set menu. Staff and service was excellent. Bread and red sauce were phenomenal. Calamari was good. Chicken Franchese was ok, nothing special. BYOB with a liquor store next door.

Great local italian BYO spot.

They have all the typical italian dishes, all executed very well. Do not sleep on their specials. They have specials that are usually creative and unique.

The calamari fritti was just average. The stuffed mushroom appetizer special with ricotta and sausage was absolutely delicious.

I got pork osso bucco which was amazing. My wife's rigatoni bolognese was excellent.

The lava cake dessert was just okay; dry and lacking lava. I would try something else the next time we go back.

The service is excellent with attentive, friendly service. The portions are more than adequate for the price.

Looking forward to our return to Bellissimo.

This place was fantastic. The food was out of this world. Chicken Parm was like qhen I was growing up, too big for the plate. 4 stars because the tables were very close together and you had to bring your own alcohol.

Bellissimo is a tremendous restaurant. Not only is the food out of this world, the staff there are incredible. Super friendly, easy to talk to and very helpful with anything we need. Especially Ernesto, our favorite waiter.

Came here for our daughters baptism party. They prepared everything very nicely for our party and were super friendly. Excellent service, very kind staff, and food was terrific. Highly recommend!

I went there with my business partner for dinner, the food was phenomenal, friendly service, clean, I think they need to upgrade a bit their decorations. Totally worth the price.

They hosted my daughter's bridal shower (55 people) over the weekend to rave reviews from all who attended! Once again, the food and service were outstanding! The owners, Tony and Artie, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating! Highly recommend Bellissimo for any occasion!
