Been here a few times and always enjoy my food. They had a special which was the red snapper filet in criolla sauce which is onions, peppers, capers and olives in a tomato sauce. The sauce and fish were really good. You could tell that the fish was very fresh. It was light, flaky and had a buttery taste to it. I did come away a few scales but it didn’t take away from the overall taste of the meal, just an annoyance. I originally had the arroz con gandules but rice was a bit overcooked so I opted for just white rice and black beans. Beans can definitely use a bit more flavor though.

Had a raspberry mojito that was mixed perfectly and was very refreshing. Definitely recommend.

Service was great and he was very attentive and helpful with suggestions.

I’ve come here several times and every time it has been a great experience. Oscar our server was phenomenal and very attentive. The coffee with milk was great and super cute with the little bear. My steak with shrimp was delicious and the tres leches was so good!!!!

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years and I am still sad about the closure of its Manhattan location. The fact that I now have to travel to Queens for a taste of their cuisine speaks volumes about my dedication. The food never fails to impress, and what I particularly appreciate is the consistency in flavor. While I must admit that the Ceviche mixto and the bacalaitos have been underwhelming, the mojitos, in any flavor, are consistently top-notch. However, the true star of the menu, in my opinion, is the skirt steak with coconut rice and black beans—it is quite simply the love of my life!

EVERYTHING is made fresh man. This place is a Michelin star for Cuban restaurants! My God, gracious Lord Almighty! The food was absolutely divine! The dessert was made fresh right there on the spot! You can't get better than that! Mark my words, you will see my face again! This place might be 2 hours away from my home but I will be back!😎

If I have one word to describe this place it would be “plentiful!” Plentiful food, flavors and vibe that just hits different. This is one of the best Cuban cuisine I’ve ever tried and I’m so glad I found them. The food was a lot and I mean a lot! We literally eat it for dinner took the left over for lunch and still had some left over. The food tests amazing and I don’t know how they make it but the chicken was out of this world. The rice was creamy and hits your test buds different too.

Brilliantly good in the heart of Forest Hills with outdoor seating. First time here but definitely not last. Paella was fresh and flavorful but the pork chops was star of the show. I never get into describing the food, just gotta swing on by and check it out.

Parking on evenings and weekends is a true P.I.T.A but it’s definitely worth a trip.

We have been coming here since they opened. Great place, great food. We most recently came here after my daughter's graduation. We were starving! As you can see from the pictures, the food is delicious and the drinks were good too. We were full and took our leftovers home, they heated up very well, and reminded us why we are happy to go there again and again.

This was my 2nd time and they were still amazing! Staff, drinks, and food were great! The sangria is okay, but everything else will give you an amazing experience. They check your vaccination cards before you are seated. I can't wait to go back.

Been there several times and none of the visits fail my expectations, food wise. Service is good most of the times, but it does get slow during rush hour, which is understandable to me. Love the food, even my picky three-year-old enjoys dining at Cabana. Honestly, I did not enjoy the cod that we ordered last time, overcooked and too dry but other dishes were still beyond great. I wouldn’t taken down star due to this. Would definitely be back.

Haven’t been here since last year. Today the place was crowded but the food was amazing. The music was playing and it just set the mood for a nice lunch. The Mariquitas remind of Miami there excellent with the garlic sauce. The churrasco was so yummy and chimichurri was exceptional.

Cabana is a long time favorite in the Forest Hills area. Food and service are always top notch. Recently I had the Ceviche Mixto, Paella Valenciana, Jerk Wings (Alitas Caribenas) and the Pina Colada with the shot on the side. Everything was great, except the wings could have more of that jerk flavor, however, it was on the sweeter side. The Ceviche was fresh and we loved the sauce so much that we applied it as a condiment to the Paella.

The location of this restaurant is located in the heart of Forest Hills and has outdoor seating. This was my first time here and it for sure won't be my last. The food is delicious and the drinks were great. I ordered the passion fruit mojito and passion fruit martini; both drinks were really good, as for food we ordered for appetizers, the tostones rellenos and for the entree, the churrasco. Service was fast and staff were nice/respectfully. I highly recommend this restaurant!

First time ever that I was able to walk up and get seated immediately. Waitress was attentive. Service was great. Food was amazing as always. Love coming here.

Was looking for a place to grab small bites before getting drinks. We got seated quickly & the waitress came by promptly. The menu was very diverse! It's a Caribbean-Latin American fusion & I felt like the food represented that well. Bacalao/codfish cakes was good, the drinks were very good, the food was fresh & had flavor. Would surely return

Food is delicious. Interesting menu with great selection. Drinks yummy and excellent desert. Beautiful presentation. Service was wonderful. They were patient and dud not push us out. My friend and I were there fir at least 3 hours, having a great time. And not overly expensive. Highly recommend it.

Came here with my family… ropa vieja was good.. pollo Al ajillo was good .. if u want a good drink, order the passion zombie - very delish

Probably one of the best Cuban restaurants I have ever been to. definitely my go to they messed up my drink today but they usually don’t mess stuff up. If you’re in the area check them out.

Cabana is everything I expect a Hispanic restaurant to be. The menu isn't as extensive but it has great variety and everything is worth trying. The churrasco is my to go plate, but I recommend trying the Paella, the Pollo a la Jamaiquina, or Camarones al Ajillo. Want a drink? So many mojitos to try, you can't go wrong. The ambiance is great, music fits the bill but not loud enough you can't hold a conversation. You'll never feel rushed. Service is probably my favorite from all the experiences I've had. Servers like Nancy, Patricia and Oscar really make the visit enjoyable; they know how to treat people and are always attentive. I mean, at the end of the day, that's why we go to restaurants, to enjoy food and have a pleasant experience.

Really good food! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I love that part of Forest hills. Best strawberry daiquiri I ever had! And that's saying a lot.
