I just had the best pork tacos and best chili nachos I think I have ever had. I love Mexican food and the quality and taste was better than most upscale Mexican restaurants. I can't wait to Come back and try everything on the menu.

The owners are very personable and the staff is friendly and attentive, which just further makes your dining experience that much better.

This place is AMAZING! The other day I got, Village Diner (South Orange), for breakfast. I ordered their; Turkey Sausage, Home Fries w/ Grilled Onions, and 2 Eggs Fried Hard w/ Cheese. With a complimentary Ruby Red Grapefruit juice to wash it down. Presentation to quality of ingredients, accompanied by their wonderful customer service was phenomenal. Have been going here for a long time, but I never experienced their breakfast items. It was such a treat! I’d highly recommend, Village Diner (South Orange), to anyone in the SO/Maplewood area looking for quality food, any time of the day. They are always great!

This diner is one of a kind and I love all the food they provide, I love the new specials, especially the tacos and brisket burger. The service is a 11/10 they’re always attentive and very kind and talkative inna good way. They new boss is so kind and very understandable. I love everything about this place. My family was happy with the service and food. Over all experience 110/100.😊

Great restaurant with a complete menu. Friendly staff and a perfect location under the train station. Sounds like thunder but it's only the Morris-Essex train rolling by. I highly recommend this gem of a family diner!

Quick, friendly service in a comfy and relaxed atmosphere. The veggie panini was hot and delicious with a nice variety of vegetables, and my friend was raving about her Greek Chicken Wrap all day.

The Food Is Amazing To Me On Saturday It Be Pack In Side And People Be Waiting Outside Are Sitting In There Car On The Bench. Just Being Patient. The Staff Are Very Kind And Friendly.

I have NEVER in my life eating such good diner!! Their breakfast menu is out of this world — french toast, multigrain toast, turkey sausage, grits. You can TASTE the food and ingredients. Best DINER in NJ hands down

I am not from this area but I was up visiting a friend and we got breakfast here. It was one of the best omelets I ever had. The wait staff was very nice and attentive. The only negative would be the lack of space for people waiting for a table. If I lived around here I definitely would be back.

Excellent service! Love the employees. Laid back, "village vibe", attmosphere. Had the turkey dinner, which came with all the trimmings. Don't mind waiting a few extra minutes when get value for what you pay for. I'll be back.

Excellent food and friendly service. The salads and veggie burgers are generous good. Don't pass up the chicken Caesar salad. Sweet potatoe fries are delicious fun. Going for breakfast? You won't be disappointed.

Great outdoor seating in the town center, surrounded by shops, people passing and just the wonderful breeze of summer. Our service was great, even being seated outside, and we enjoyed our food (Cheedeburger deluxe - burgers are delicious!!!!, Bacon cheeseburger deluxe and a Belgian waffle)!

I work at a job site very close to village diner, order from them at least 2 times a week and have tried most of the menu, food is always great and service even better. I highly recommend village diner

Food is awesome. I never have to wait long or worry about food being missing from my bag. Very accurate and fast. Affordable prices and staff is friendly. Definitely recommend.
