Stirling House Diner

Went with my wife for a Valentines lunch date. She had the Bruschetta burger and I had the flounder sandwich on rye. Both were very tasty! Fries were good as was the coleslaw and pickle. Lauren was our server and she was awesome as well. We will be back to dine again!

I recently came here with my family and our server Kelly was so kind and personable. It was our first time and as a picky eater, she recommended a dish that would suit my appetite. This place was very friendly and good food for a good price! Def recommend!

Visited this diner today for brunch for the 1st time. Very clean place with beautiful roses 🌹 garden, with tables outside, delicious food, sweet staff. I ate the Southern Cajun grilled chicken, with avocado and scrambled eggs. Just AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this dish and this place.

This is the type of place you can come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and skip the menu. As is tradition, you can order nearly anything you want here, from pot roast to an omelet. Though the breakfast food are the winner here, you really can't go wrong.

And shout out to the friendly and swift service here, they really make you feel like you're in the right place, regardless of how busy or hectic it gets in there.

Visited the area for a wedding the day before. My family all met for breakfast here the next day before heading our separate ways. Food and service was very good. I had eggs bacon and a waffle yum!

I have eaten Sunday breakfast three times here. Constantly great service and food. Stands out from other dinners with nice landscaping design and friendly staff.

This is by far my favorite diner in New Jersey. It's elegant with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent and at a reasonable price. We are always treated extremely nice by Phillip (host) and the rest of the professional staff.

Michelin rating 5* good service, friendly, very clean. Portions are way beyond what you expect, cooked just as you requested. My group will return in August with a 4 member,3 from Union Cty,1 from Far Hills, can't say enough but DO RECOMMEND!!

Always top notch breakfast food. Great service and decent prices. Only complaint is that the place gets chaotic in the mornings, try to go for lunch. I recommend the short stack chocolate chip pancakes!!

Great traditional diner with a wonderful staff that made us feel right at home with our 2 little ones, which is not always easy. Eating out can feel like a nightmare but they were very accommodating. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, didn't feel like diner food. I usually like diners for breakfast but tend not to go for dinner, but this was a pleasant surprise. Stuffed chicken was delicious!

Everything was great yesterday. Waitress attentively paced, friendly staff, and fresh food. Best diner I've ever been to.

Stopped here on our way through the town. Really fantastic meal. I had a burger. My husband had the moussaka and my one year old happily munched on some fish and frieS. Great service. Perfect stop.

Had the corned hash & eggs as well as chocolate chip pancakes w strawberries and both crushed it. I grew up on Jersey diners and this one did not disappoint with their diner food. One fyi they didn’t have non-dairy milk and one of my friends couldn’t eat soy gluten or dairy and their options were very limited, so probably not a great spot if you have those dietary needs. Service is fine, we were with a larger group and they were busy so just needed to call for attention if we needed anything. Food came out very fast.
