My son and I had a great experience. He is a picky eater and in particular doesn't like fishy smelling seafood. I brought him here in the hopes to find a fish dish that will break his impression that all fish taste fishy.
The broiled scrod did it for him. He loved it. I had the broiled lemon sole dinner with cole slaw and double portion of broccoli. The chocolate lava cake was the perfect finish for the meal.

Fresh seafood every time. Great selections! Staff are friendly and helpful. I purchased 4 dozen clams and five lobsters recently for a backyard seafood fest and they were FANTASTIC! Prices are reasonable.

Great seafood. We were in the mood for fresh oysters without the big price tag and this place sure delivered. The mussels in garlic sauce were very flavorful. The bread was nice and warm. The New England clam chowder was filled with thick chunks of clam which we always want and rarely get at other establishments. Would come back.

I came to Denville Seafood starving today.. and left starving for more! Back in my culinary days, nothing excited me more than working with fresh seafood. I've only eaten here once so far, so this isn't a carte blanche endorsement, but I will say the swordfish lunch special was quite delicious and reasonably priced. Good dessert and pleasant atmosphere as well. Will drop in again in the future to try other dishes.

Waited about 15 min to be seated, but boy, it was worth the wait.

There is a seafood shop attached to the restaurant. All seafood dishes are very fresh and light. The portion is not big but it's just the right amount and healthy.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Service is good. We have been going back many times now.

I tried several fish markets in northern New Jersey. They run about twenty dollars per pound for filet of flounder.. I enjoy flounder, and after some terrible experience with shoprite Flounder, I'm willing to pay for fresh fish.

Tried the restaurant last night for the first time after living up here 12 years. Not sure what took us so long to try but we will be back a lot more now. I have to try the whole menu.

Chilean sea bass & lobster bisque were excellent. Service was great! The waiter had told me they dropped my dish and had to make it again. He apologized profusely and a complimentary shrimp cocktail was brought to our table.

Wow! A good friend took me here, had a terrific lunch. Reasonable prices, great food! I will certainly be back again.

What a gem of a place for outstanding seafood! Service and food were excellent. They do not serve alcohol but do allow you to bring in a bottle of wine if you would like one to accompany your meal. I had the Mussels Diavolo (Wonderful and on the spicy side of you like that) and the Swordfish which was cooked to perfection. Thank you to Denville Seafood for an excellent dining experience.

Unassuming storefront disguises the comfortable and nicely appointed dining area just a sharp turn to the right from the fresh seafood case. Arctic Char lunch special was exceptional! Will be back.

I love to eat here! all seafood is really good, I will make the plates with bigger portions, service is 10/10 all of the staff is really friendly and polite. Place is clean, nice and quiet !

If you like seafood, this is the place to go in the Morristown area. The food was good, our server was knowledgeable and attentive, the dining area clean and attractive.
We started with an order of steamers: perfectly prepared and delicious.
My wife had the lobster roll. Here I get into one of my pet peeves about reviews. I saw several reviewers complain about the size of lobster dishes. My wife loved her lobster roll, but wished it were a little bigger. At $14, I thought it was about right. If you want to get a "loaded" lobster roll, compare it to prices around: they're easily doubled. So this lobster roll was a fair value for a fair price.
I had fish and chips. This is my go to base line order when I go to a new seafood place. The fish was delicious and fresh, perfectly crunchy and moist, and the chips were great: I ate more of them than I should have. Too good! Very fresh, excellent meal.
This brings me to another pet peeve. I saw a review in which the author says the fish was bland and she knows what it should taste like. I know fish, and I know fish joints. Good fish doesn't taste like fish (right?). There are lots of lesser places that put sauces or spices on to move less fresh product.
Denville Seafood checks all the boxes for a great seafood experience.
