Great food and strong drinks! Calamari was cooked well, and the garlic bread that came with it as an appetizer was cooked perfectly crispy. The pizza was dense and filling. I could see the rest of their food being great and would definitely go back. Overall, I give Reservoir Tavern a 4.5 out 5.

Great local spot that’s always packed, and for good reason. The food in the restaurant is good but the pizza is great.

Nice crisp crust that holds the pizza together well. The sauce is tasty and the cheese was the perfect amount. The sausage was so fresh; would highly recommend adding that.

Best pizza in all of boonton/ Montville . The sausage is homemade, best pizza is the sausage and hot pepper. Then j ordered the chicken with Angel hair pasta. Just amazing. This place has a family feel, everyone knows each other. Great place to connect. They have so many amazing options. Even the meatball sliders are so amazing. Definitely a great place for Lunch or dinner. I ordered my husband a chicken and prosciutto dinner and the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. Best check ever!! Come here asap

Great place for lunch or dinner. We had two 14 " pizzas one with pepperoni and sausage and one called " nicks special" that has sausage onion peppers and mushrooms. Both were cooked perfectly. Nice and thin with a good chew to the crust. The place has a good ambiance and plenty of parking. I also got a stuffed artichoke to take home. Real nice!! Moderately priced and worth every penny.

Love, love , love this place!!! Food is excellent. We've never had a bad meal there. Service is excellent. Smaller family owned restaurant that is packed on a Saturday lunch, it's that good. Not usually a terrible wait time in that case. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Great place. Did I say I loved it? 😉

This is my favorite Italian restaurant ever. They know us by name (which goes such a long way) and they truly make the effort to get our orders out to us as quickly as possible, even on the busiest of nights! They are EXTREMELY consistent and the food always tastes perfect!

Best Italian food in NJ. Love everything I've ordered here, especially the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and their pizza! Great service and atmosphere. Worth the wait. We always stop here when we're in the area, just wish they were open on Sundays lol

Fantastic pizza! Garlic and clam was fantastic- we liked it better then Lombardi’s or Delornzos out of Trenton area. The margarita was solid as well. Super crispy crunchy crust.

BEST pizza on the planet! Booked solid on a Tuesday for lunch and every other day ... Evenings, get there super early. If you're lucky, you'll get seated immediately. So worth it and don't forget to put butter on the pizza sourdough crust. Just decadent. Enjoy!

I love this place ! We are not local (about 20 mins away) we love coming here and sitting at the bar. Amazing food every time I go I get the Cajun fettuccine Alfredo . This is a mom and pop and you need to check it out. Family friendly and great stop with a family or friend for some food

Busy every evening for a VERY good reason. Amazing meals of Italian flair! Whatever you order will make the wait at the door for a table worthwhile. Recommended for the whole family or to please your companions.

This place is iconic! Walking through the door you feel like you've stepped back in history. I don't think the place has been renovated since the late 1970s or early 1980s.

You might be disappointed by the decor but you will not be with the food. Their pizza is known not only throughout northern New Jersey but also in portions of New York that are 45 minutes away. Note the number of cars from NY in the parking lot!

You cannot pass up a link of their homemade sausage as an appetizer. It is be far, the best sausage I have ever eaten.

The place is always packed and they don't take reservations. Plan on waiting but know the wait is worth it!

You can call in an order for take-out, but to get the full experience you must dine in!

Haven't been in years. Shame on me! Just an amazing experience. Food. People. Service. Happiness all around, and on New Year's Eve. Not a sour face in the place. Can't wait to get back.

Always a wait during volume hours so try to go off peak.
This time around for apps had New Zealand mussels in a garlicky white sauce and spadini. Both very good with lots of great flavor.
String beans oreganata.. omg!! So good!
If you go, pizza is a must. Our pie was a medium and beautifully cooked - great crust!
Staff is great and efficient - a great night out.
