Sakura Teriyaki

Nice place. Friendly staff. Good came out within minutes. Seating arrangements were.. humble. The food was delicious. The amount you get for the lunch special is amazing. Definitely recommend that. With extra chicken. Sushi was okay. Not too much of a fan but was still enjoyable. Great for quick bite.

I had Sakura Teriyaki the other day for lunch, and boy was it a real treat. Their food is always really fresh and quite tasty as well too. I got their Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box. It consists of Salmon w/ Brown Rice (Optional), Salad, and a California Roll. Talk about a great lunch! Usually their Bento Boxes come with Edamame, and although extremely delicious, I’d personally rather a full sushi roll instead. So I just sub out the Edamame. Their Bento Boxes are always phenomenal! The Salmon has like a slight crust on the outside and is super soft and flaky on the inside. I would absolutely recommend Sakura Teriyaki to anyone in S.O. and looking for some awesome teriyaki!

Sakura is a great place to go to in South Orange if you're looking for great food at reasonable prices.

This place is the best ever! The sushi is so delicious and the workers now know my friends and I by name. So kind. Definitely support this business! Cheap and high quality food

I bought the food and it was nice and hot. I had alot to do, so I did not get to eat it until much later. It was still extremely delicious even at room temperature. So I know it have been mouth watering if I had ate it hot. Better than Sakura Japan. Get the shrimp and chicken with fried rice.

Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimps with noodles and vegetables is what I always order. So worth it and delicious, big portions even the shrimps. Down side place need renovation, looks like an old take out restaurant. But we are judging the food and customer service so it's on the spot.

I love the shrimp and noodles. The chicken terayaki is a bit too salty for me sometimes. It's best to call your order in ahead of time so you can just pick up and go. I tend to do this when I am getting home late due to traffic jams and need a quick solution to answer the question What's for dinner?

Came in for lunch and bought the teriyaki chicken meal for myself and shrimp teriyaki for a friend. Very fresh and delicious! Will be coming back again.

One of my favorite places to get some sushi. The owners are very pleasant and they recognize me every time I go. Good prices too compared to where I usually go

Let's talk about the fact that this place just does it right. It knows exactly what it is and executes it flawlessly. The lunch special is so cheap you would think they're serving you the animal shelter out back, but I'm sure the inspectors make sure that is not the case. It's just exactly what you need it to be and you get more than you pay for in my opinion. Obviously to get a 5/5 on my DS (DevScore) the food needs to truly meet a significant standard. I will give it a 3 because they really have it done right over there and from what I can assume are running a very lucrative business.

The food is always good, you can watch while they prepare it right before you so you can get your meat done exactly how you like it. For me that’s always well done 👍🏽

My kids told about this place I was a little hesitant but tried it, wow!! I will be adding this place to my list of places to visit often. I got the shrimp and chicken teriyaki you can't go wrong.

Love their Teriyaki Chicken special and scallion pancakes. Employees are friendly and the service is fast. Good place for a quick meal.
